Scheduled service to get an estimate on replacing sewage line..........a Monday...they called 2 hours prior to the appointment and rescheduled to Wednesday of the same week. NEVER showed up!

Dont waste your time. Get a better price somewhere else. Little 10 minutes job $345 plus and other $345 just to check the problem in one other spot..

Hired them to replace our sewer line and they suggested we replace the water line as well since the hole would already be dug, which we did. Supposedly there was a 10-year warranty.

Last night water started coming through the wall by the water line. Nick Slater came out, tried to patch it and said they would be back on Wednesday to seal the outside, which he admitted was not sealed properly. Today he called and said that his insurance company told him not to do any additional repairs.

Avoid them at all costs!

I needed a faucet replaced in a kitchen sink as well as two cut off valves. Not a complicated job, but I did not want to tackle the soldering. Called Mr. Rooter (OF Buena NJ, not Atlantic City) they quote $512.00. I had already purchased a new faucet and I thought the price was outrageously high. I anticipated one hour of labor and maybe $50.00 in parts. Did not hire Mr. Rooter. I did the job myself. Took o less than one hour. I guess if you are willing to pay $400.00 per hour for a plumber Mr. Rooter is your man!

I recently called Mr.Rooter to fix my garbage disposal that wasn't working and was leaking under my sink. They sent a guy out to fix it who charged me over $300. I assumed it was fixed. The next day I came down to find it still leaking and the garbage disposal still wasn't working. I called back and they sent another guy out, he also was unable to fix the problem. I then called back and the woman on the phone told me that if the problem was different from the original problem then they would charge another fee of $50. So the first guy comes back and tells me that the garbage disposal needs to be replaced it would be $487!!!!! I refused and asked what he did the first time and what were we charged so much for? he said to snake the drain which is all he did. No repair of the garbage disposal or the leak and he told me that we should've asked him to fix those things. Buyer beware. Mr.Rooter is a rip off. You'd be better off going with a company that cares about their reputation instead of a large company. To make matters worse it's xmas in 2 days.
