For the last several years I have been dealing with sewer gas coming back into the house. After many calls to other plumbing companies and no call backs, Mr Rooter of Will County came out to my house, gave an estimate of how much it would cost and scheduled a next available appointment. On the day of the appointment, a receptionist called from Mr Rooter to let me know that Cody was on his way out to the house and how long it would take to get there. Cody from Mr Rooter arrived on time, told me what he was here to do and got right to work. After getting behind the wall where the issue was, he recognized that the issue with the sewer line was different than he first expected and was able to save us money on the back end. Cody was very professional the entire time he was here. I AM HIGHLY PLEASED with Mr Rooter and would absolutely hire him again if I ever needed any other work done...And what did it for me was the extra mile Mr Rooter went to, to call me after Cody was done to see how did I like the job. Thank you Mr Rooter!!!

After last weeks storm and being without power until 10pm Friday night we were really upset that the first toilet flush (we have well and septic) backed up into the house. We made several calls on Saturday morning and Mr Rooter was the only one that returned our call, and very quickly.
They had a really nice guy out within a couple hours, even earlier than we were originally told.
He followed all COVID precautions, was very knowledgeable, fixed our problem very quickly. Would definitely use again. THANK YOU!

I had my kitchen sink backed up my washer also ran on same pipes and was causing over flow back into my sink which was flooding my kitchen and laundry room , Mr rooter came out and said i had a clean out under my cabinet he could go through. He quoted me 292.00 and then asked me if i used draino then added another 192.00 for handling hazardous material. I told him id take the trap off and drain it out. Didnt matter. He quoted my 492.00. I told him i couldnt do that. So I got ahold of my neighbor she brought lye and an auger. An hour later with patience and auging problem solved for about 10.00 dollars. NO thank you Mr. Rooter

They were prompt and extremely professional. They kept me abreast of my technician's name and ETA. He was even able to come quicker than originally anticipated. They came through in a pinch, as it was Labor Day weekend. Thanks!!

Had a drain problem and a Mr. Rooter technician came out within a short amount of time. He diagnosed the problem and made the repairs without making a mess in my home. I would recommend Mr. Rooter as a reliable and reasonable solution for plumbing repairs.

Well, I don't quite understand the bad reviews. All I can say is they came out late at night after I went down to the basement and found the sewer backing up. They tossed from the toilet down which didn't fix the problem but did pull out a bunch of roots. So they had to come back out and blow out the line farther out. They were done in an hour, everything was fine and the guys were great. I'm a single woman and I appreciate that they didn't try to sell me a bill of goods. It wasn't cheap but it was a helluva lot less than digging up the yard. I have no complaints.

We had an issue with hot and cold water in one of the washrooms' bath tub. I called Mr. Rooter for an inspection and quote. The guy from Mr. Rooter showed up on time. Looked very professional. Wearing a utility belt with numerous gadgets hanging from it. Had a tablet in his hand for photos and work contract. After inspecting the bath tub faucet for about 30 minutes, he said the entire wall around the faucets would have to be cut. There is a censor behind the wall needed to be changed.
The labor and parts would cost us $2400. I was shocked to hear that. I said what??? He prep'd up the contract on his tablet and sent me an email with details. Next morning I hit the internet and found a censor part for $23 on Amazon. According to the details, the sensor sat inside the faucet and not behind any wall. I ordered it immediately and Amazon delivered it the same day (paid $5 extra). Went on youtube and found the exact video in which a wise gentleman showing how to replace your hot cold sensor. Followed the instructions and bingo. Water temperatures worked great.

The point of this review is to inform and warn you that there are people out there to get innocent, hardworking, and honest consumers like you and me. They rip them off right inside their house, in their face. Honesty is not even in the back seat anymore. It's completely out of the car! Courtesy - out the door. I would advice you all to be very careful, do your research and then hire a plumber.

NEVER CALL MR ROOTER!! You have been warned! These crack pot ""plumbers"" came out to rental property and quoted me $8500 to fix my sewer line that was ""broken"" I had another company come out and they scoped my line with there camera and there was no breaks in my sewer at all!!! Real shady company, how many people have they done this to?! I know I can't be the only one!!! I will never recommend this company to anyone! They also charged me $650 to rod my line and camera it when it wasn't even backed up!! They kept telling me my ""slow"" drain was a blockage in my line! I call BS! Originally called them out due to my toilet running, they didn't even fix that!! I cannot believe these people!! According to Cody, the technician who was here, him and his father are the only employees here! HA I wonder why!!! Also I'm almost positive Cody stole my grandfathers watch which was on my bathroom counter prior to him arriving, & after he left it was magically gone! Hmmmm. Very unhappy with this company, please do not use Mr Rooter

HORRIBLE company! Cody came out to look at my water heater recently, he not only knocked down my fathers ashes, but then this kid BROKE my gas control valve on my water heater and then told me there was nothing he could do for me and left! Are you serious?! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

I had Mr. Rooter come out a couple weeks ago and they wanted to charge me over $7,000 to fix my Plumbing on my sewer line!!! That's right $7,000 I about drop dead. I had Dimick Sewer Service come out they fix my problem scoped my entire line for $350. I cannot believe Mr. Rooter would take advantage of somebody the way that they did. This is a poorly ran company and the owner of the company even came to my house and did the estimate himself don't ever trust Mr. Rooter
Since I had to select a star rating they have one star would should actually be a negative star because of their poor sense of business
