Plumber arrived in less than an hour. Camera showed the trap (outside the cellar wall, 8 feet deep & under an addition) was blocked by stones. He explained what might need to be done and the cost for each step, and helped me apply for low interest financing. Ended up needing a hole outside and a small hole in cellar floor. They installed new pipes inside, outside & under the addition. I heard the sewage authority inspector say their work was ""outstanding"".

With overnight temperatures below minus ten degrees, they worked outside & after dark. They quickly had sewage flowing, kept our water lines from freezing, patched and cleaned up the cellar & yard when they were done.

I do believe, after reading reviews of some other companies, that Mr. Rooter saved me at least $10,000.

Worst service ever. We called them on a Saturday morning when we couldn't flush the toilets and everything was backed up. They said they would send someone out. I called back twice that day to see when someone was coming, they couldn't tell me. Wasn't until my husband called around 7pm they said they weren't sending anybody, and they would send someone first thing in the morning. Sunday morning someone showed up, you could tell he didn't want to be there. Gets out of his truck, doesn't look any anything and says we need a ""power scrub"" which was going to cost $1,000. We declined and said we just needed a snake and camera. They guy put the snake down, made absolutely no effort and couldn't get it unclogged. Didn't even put a camera down to see what the issue was. My husband who was now put off by the experience, called Mr Rooter to complain. The tech came up to our door and said he supervisor called him and said to make more of an effort. He tried again, still barely making an effort. I told him to just stop. His supervisor called and my husband who was to irrational to speak with him, said we would call back. We had another plumber come out that week and they put the snake down, got through the blockage and put the camera down to confirm it was clear. I have tried calling the supervisor multiple times since with no return call. Will never use Mr Rooter again, but Sullivan Super Service has a customer for life.
