Never used this service and never will. Two of their trucks tried to cut me off in traffic after 2 miles of road where they had the opportunity to signal to try and get in my lane but decided to BOTH try and cut me off at a red light at the last second to use the turn lane. When I didn't let them through they laid on the horn. If they're that careless and rude on the road I don't wanna know how badly they do their job and treat their customers. RIDICULOUS!

Chris was great. He was punctual, patient, showed me and explained what he was going to do and answered all my questions. Thank you for sending an experienced, reliable specialist to take care of my leaking water pipe.

Get a second opinion before committing to anything with this company. If you want to have a job take longer than normal and cost a ton more, call these guys.

My family used them earlier this year for a large job and paid a hefty amount for said job. Fast forward to this past week, there's a leak in one of the pipes out in the front yard, not a huge leak but a leak nonetheless. Mr. Rooter technicians came out to take a look... their quote was about 6k. So I did the math and figured out they would be charging $400 an hour to dig through the yard, just to find the leak. Lord only knows what fixing it would cost.

We ended up doing the digging ourselves. Found the leak. Got someone else out to fix the pipe. The grand total came out to about 3 hours of digging and $200 for the repair.

Expensive doesn't always mean it's worth the price.

Abraham was my technician and he's very professional and polite. He gave me an estimate for fixing my plumbing issue, and explained a number of options to me.

Thanks, Abraham.

Really bad experience with Mr. Rooter, who came out in October 2022 to clear a stopped-up sewer line (clean-outs backing up, toilet not flushing, etc.). They pushed for a ""hydro-clean"" (high pressure water cleaning of the pipe), saying it was a superior clean-out and giving me a 6 month guarantee. The $1050 high-pressure water clean out lasted 3 months before things started backing up again. Mr. Rooter came out in January 2023, recommended an $11,000 sewer pipe liner. They said they again cleaned out my line but 12 days later, everything in the house backed up again. They came out, again said they cleared the line, again recommended the $11,000 liner. Two hours after they left, the toilet didn't flush properly. At this point, I decided I needed a toilet that flushed, so I called a reputable plumber, who cleared the line and it has stayed clear. To sum up, Mr. Rooter failed to clear my sewer line after 3 attempts, their guarantee was worthless as they did not perform the work properly, and they continually pushed me toward more expensive solutions each time they came. My advice, call another plumber. Do not waste your time and money.

My septic system had an immediate problem... it was working one minute and then it was overflowing my toilets and my tub drain. My system is older so I expected it to fail - just not when it did... I thought I had more time. Anyway, I called at around 11 am, was told a tech could come between 4-6 pm, and the tech (Matt) actually arrived by 1:30 pm. The diagnosis was my intake baffle had gone bad and needed to be dug out and replaced. Once the guys got in to the system, it turned out that my outflow baffle was in worse shape - it basically fell apart as we looked at it. Additionally, the pipeline had also 'crunched' as it was from a thin (though up to code) material; the team proactively replaced it with a much thicker pipeline. They also packed my pipeline in salt as a root prevention strategy. I like to learn so, at each stage of diagnosis, I got to see what the camera saw as it happened and the guys were patient enough to explain what we were seeing. Once we got the two baffles and both pipelines replaced, we did one more scope and found that there was a third issue between the house and the tank. The team gave me my options (I could have just left it for later); ultimately, it just made sense to take care of it since the system was already dug out. The 'underground team' (Matt, Jason, William, Connor, and Mike) of Mr. Rooter handled the whole project in four days. They were knowledgeable, polite, professional, answered all my questions, and helped me consider all my options. The final paperwork was a little whonky but that was a systems thing that got worked out before the team left my property so it wasn't an issue. Based on my experience with this particular team (the underground team), I would definitely hire these professionals again!

I wish I could leave a negative star review because that's how bad this company is. We developed a backed up drain in our main drain causing the shower stall to flood, they showed up with a camera and said the pipes needed to be hydro scrubbed but clean outs would need to be installed to do the service. We were quoted almost $3,200 for the service. They showed up the next morning and worked on and off till 2:30 in the afternoon and dug a 4 foot hole to install the clean outs. They told us they needed parts and would be back first thing the next morning. The next day they didn't show up and I called their office around 11 A.M. They told me they would check on why they weren't there and call me back. I was called back an hour and a half later and told they would be there in 30 minutes depending on traffic, I called after an hour of waiting and asked to speak with a manager, the call taker said they were dealing with a customer and she would personally call me back if there was an extended wait. She never called me back. They didn't show up for 2.5 hours after we were told they were 30 minutes away as my wife and I were getting ready to leave for vacation. I asked the technician to call a supervisor since they were 6.5 hours late, he got in touch with a Manager who said he would have someone out when we got home from vacation and we would get a discount approved for the inconvenience. They showed up 45 minutes late for the next appointment to finish the work. Everything was installed and our yard was put back together, but they could not get a person out to hydro scrub the line till the next day even though it was an emergency and we could not take showers or use our washing machine. The next day they came and hydro scrubbed the line, we received the bill a short time later and they only gave us $100 off. It took the company almost a week to get back to us after the invoice was received and they told us they would not take any more money off but would guarantee the work for 7 years instead of 5 years. Taking only $100 off was insult to injury with this whole ordeal, their website said they are committed to being on time and available 24/7 but that sure isn't the case. If you value your time and money steer clear of this company.

Horrible! What a bunch of scam artists. Jake knew that I was out of town and convinced me over the phone that I needed over $1700 in repairs to excavate a broken pipe and to repair a water leak. He stated it would be hours of labor and extensive supplies. I paid half as a down payment. Jake and Wayne were unaware that all of their movements were picked up on security cameras. Jake was on site for exactly 60 minutes researching the problem. Wayne was on site the next day to fix the problem for 15 minutes. And according to Jake he only spent $20 in supplies. Jake called me to offer a discount from the $1,700 quote, now a total $1,012 dollars. That comes to just under $800 per hour of labor + supplies. Beware of this company they are set up to rob you from the first phone call.

If I could give a negative star I would. Total scam. They send two ""scouts"" out and they tell you that they need to do a leak detection, which is $700. Then their ""manager"" comes out and walks around with a little blue machine and marks where he ""thinks"" the leak is, mind youu, he says it could be 20 feet away in any direction. So you ask him how much per hour, he says he doesnt know. LOL. HIS manager will send a proposal. I got a proposal for $5,500.00 for a job that cost me $1,700......Do not use these scammers, you will be sorry.....

If I could give less than one star, I would. We had an emergency call on Thanksgiving night. Matt Holmes came out and cleaned our line so our toilets would work again and provided estimates for further work related to this service call.

I was advised by Matt the night of the visit that we did not owe any money then and that we would be paying when we completed the rest of the work for what we were given estimates for. The estimates were sent via email.

We were communicating via text with Matt and his supposed Uncle who Matt said owned the local Rooter branch. The last message we received said that they were working on some answers to questions we had about the estimates and that they would call us back. We never received a call nor a further text.

Fast forward to 2/27/23. I received a call trying to collect payment for the November visit. I asked for a copy of the invoice, having never been given an invoice - only estimates for future work. The woman who called said that if I didn't pay the invoice immediately that she would put us into pre-lien. I again asked for the invoice to be sent to me and said I'd discuss with my husband and pay by the end of the week, as we needed to discuss the estimated work.

That same evening I received a call directly from the tech, Matt, after 7 pm. This call was followed by an email with the invoice and the next morning I received a text message as well.

The invoice that I was finally provided with, months later, has an invoice date of 2/27/23 - the day they called. Not only did this company harass me over their own failure to invoice and to follow-up as promised on future work but they also harassed me after-hours and utilized three different methods of communication - all within a 12 hour period.

I paid my bill the very next morning but I would never on my life use this place of business for any future work due to their severe lack of integrity, honesty and competence. This is hard for me to say, considering that in my younger days I actually worked for their sister company, Mr. Electric - both organizations are supposed to be known for their high-level of work and as well as their integrity.

Had this situation been approached differently and had both the tech and the girl calling to collect payment admitted that they failed to invoice for a job, failed to follow-up on their estimates and then ask for payment without threatening to pre-lien, I would not be writing this review. I would like to warn others of this particular local branch's inability to maintain a professional standard as well as being dishonest in they way they conduct their business. This was one of the worst services experiences I've ever had.
