Chad Jones, service technician at Mr. Rooter, did an outstanding job. Our handyman was installing vinyl flooring over our cement floor in our basement hallway--but we have a drain that backs up sometimes. Chad solved the problem by capping the drain and installing a small condensate pump attached to the furnace (having the water condensation run through the soft-water line). Brilliant solution! Chad is not only an expert at plumbing but also genuinely friendly and kind. He answered several questions my wife and I had about various plumbing issues at our house. He was amazing. I will always contact him and Mr. Rooter when I have plumbing needs. 4 April 2024
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They installed a new toilet. It was cracked, flooded our lower level. No response from the Office Manager, Heather. As leaks continued, we called to ask them to send a plumber out. Instead they sent a guy named Caleb. He spent 10 minutes, could not find ""where the leak is"" and told us to call Flood Fighters. It seems he gets a commission by referring us to Flood Fighters. He told us Flood Fighters would find the leak and then tell him where the leak is and then he would fix it. Took $99.00 of our money for his incompetent 10 minutes. Flood Fighters came out totally confused as they just clean up and fix up damage caused by the leak. Fortunately the referred us to a couple of real plumbers to actually come out to our house and do what plumbers are supposed to do. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I wish I could give them a negative 5 star review.
Horrible company. We called because our dishwasher will not drain. We have had dishwasher service out twice, and both said it was a plumbing issue.
We called Mr. Rooter...big mistake! We told them the issue, and he proceeded to snake the sink...which wasn't even clogged! We called back, and were told they can't fix that...but left us with a huge bill!
When we called customer service, we were hung up on several times! We were frustrated, but were not screaming or swearing. Absolute WORST customer service I've EVER experienced! I would leave 0 stars, but there isn't an option for that!
Nice enough staff, but pricing model is criminal. To remove an old dishwasher (75%done upon their arrival) and to install a new one took 1 hour and 20min of time. The cost was over $700 for the work.
Take advantage of the elderly, charged my mother 1374.09 to replace Small piece of hose and a connector on each end before they even looked to see what needed done, Tore ceiling apart which was not necessary, charge for another man when only one oerson there, suppose to communicate with my husband who set it up and was on the road working but did not call or return his numerous messages to them. I contacted the BBB, the owner of this company was pretty rude and I got no where so I sent a letter along with photos and receipt to the state attorney general and also to the head of the franchise. These people are theives taking advantage of elderly people like this and I will not quit. They owe my mother some money back. It doesnt cost 825.09 for a small piece of hose and 2 connectors let alone all the other reiculous charges they added on. Shame on you MR Rooter of Traverse City!!!
Website says they install water heaters. I needed a water heater installed and some drains for a new project. It seems they only do service calls and charge $99 up front even to come out. Heads up people, good info to know.
Chris F.We had a typical hair-and-grease blockage in a waste line that stopped our kitchen sink and main bathtub. We could tell exactly where it was but didn't have a snake long enough and didn't want to get frustrated, angry and sore. Luckily we called Mr. Rooter and their excellent engineer Caleb Williams came the next morning. He arrived earlier than anticipated, but not so much earlier that it was inconvenient, agreed with my wife's diagnosis and fixed everything within an hour.
The fee for that level of service and efficiency was entirely reasonable, Mr. Williams was polite, professional and surprisingly enthusiastic about what he found in the waste pipe, and I'd recommend this outfit thoroughly. Ask for Caleb Williams by name, he was great.
Overpriced and horrible company. Yes period. they can to unclog my toilet and later that same day it started to leak they would not come out and fix it and kept on blowing me off. A drain and toilet snake was $414.00
Michele S.Always on time for appointments, fairly priced, service appointments are available quickly, they always call ahead to let you know they're on their way and always confirm the appointment the night before. The work is done to perfection! Today, this beauty was pulled from our sump pump drain line.
Came to my rescue once again. Julie helped rework schedules to get Cory out to clear my sewer, which was totally blocked. Got it handled quickly and efficiently. Awesome!
