Wow I was and am impressed with the service I received from Jeff, Billy and Dan. They respected my home and honored the Covid policies. My shower repair was quite a challenge but they never gave up!! Jeff ensured that the problem was rectified and when he thought he was stumped Dan showed up as reenforcement!!! Billy was the clean up crew and repaired all walls and left it looking like the walls were never opened up!!! I absolutely loved the services I received. Thanks guys.

I informed you that pipe was fixed. Used to be broken. Besides....Why would you charge me for camera when you said it was free? And why was I told that you did try to snake and that's why I was charged?

Follow up today 2/8. For the same work they had done in a previous year they wanted to charge me $100 more! They can't even give a basic rough estimate for a main drain rotter out with clean out over the phone. If they drive up and see a nice house prepare to get priced gouged!!!! George did even bother to give me an estimate

Very expensive due to COVID. But Jose was an amazing guy. So clean and friendly. He did the job and waited to ensure that the clog was cleared. I would recommend Mr Rooter but would I for the person that they are pricy.

Thank you Sergio C. for saving the day. Called to get our tub unclogged around 9:40am and Sergio was at my house at 10:30am. Super friendly and professional. I appreciate people who communicate what the game plan is and what the problem is and how to prevent future malfunctions; Sergio made sure to check off all those concerns. Definitely will be requesting Sergio if I ever have any further plumbing problems. Thank you Sergio for your time, service and professionalism.

It is my second time using Mr. Rooter of Torrance. The first was about six months ago and I called about 6 plumbers and Mr. Rooter had the fastest quoted response time. The second time was today and it was a pricey service call ($140) to relight the pilot light of my water heater. However, they came in about 90 minutes after I called and it was easy. They had all my info on file from the previous call and it saved me a lot of time having to call various plumbers. They were friendly and I would definitely use again.

They are very rude and dishonest about their prices. They advertise a coupon that they do not honor. I think they are also just lazy. The tech Jerreme also showed up 45 minutes late. I would never call use this business again. complete waste of time.

Big thanks to Art for addressing not only y pipe leak, but the underlying conditions that lead to the problem. He provided a thorough explanation of the services he was recommending and the issues causing the recurring problem. He provided options for how to address and didn't push a hard sell. The price was reasonable and he worked quickly and cleanly.

My kitchen faucet had a small drip so I attempted to fix it, but my angle stops were bad so I called Mr. Rooter of Torrance. I was told that someone would be there in a hour, but they didn't show and I was told that the technician was held up and would not be available for another 1.5 hours. I rescheduled for the next day and was told that someone would be there between 8am-9am. Received the texts but nobody showed up. When I called, the owner Dan said he would go himself and he was here at around 9:30am.
I was quoted $400 to replace 3 angle stops and ~$780 to replace the faucet. I decided to get the angle stops replaced and buy a new faucet to install myself.
I did not complain or try to negotiate paying $400 for what amounts to $20 in parts and 30 minutes of labor. After all, skilled tradespeople deserve to earn a living wage so I expect there to be mark up. HOWEVER, if I'm paying $400 for 30 minutes of work, I do expect the work to be done right, no shortcuts.
Dan failed to clearly explain to me that he installed 2 different types of angle stops because he didn't have enough 3/8 compression angle stops on hand. He wrote down a shopping list (see photo) for items to workaround this non-conforming angle stop because he told me the water supply lines won't reach the angle stops. He left out the key piece of information that the 2 angle stops were different types so it was really difficult to understand what I needed. Also, Home Depot doesn't sell/stock water supply lines that go from 5/8 OD to 3/8 compression which added to the confusion. It turned out that I didn't need the additional water supply lines after all since the new faucet lines were long enough to reach. It was only when I was ready to hook in the water lines that I realized what Dan had done.
I called Dan and asked why he installed 2 different types of angle stops (if I knew this, perhaps I would have chosen not to have him do the job). I wanted him to come back to install the correct 3/8 compression angle stops in order to do the job right. Dan refused and insisted that he did the job right but did say he would come by the next day to install a water supply line to make it work.
The next day, Sergio was sent to my house to install the correct 3/8 angle stop. I suppose the owner grew a conscience at the end of the day.

TLDR: Long story short, I learned the hard way that some people lack the integrity to charge a fair price for honest work. Not all experiences are the same, but the community here can judge for themselves.
P.S. I told Sergio this entire saga and he must have felt bad for me because he did address a leak in my sink basin pipe for free.

I called Mr. Rooter on Hathorne blvd. Torrance. To open a simple main line drain with easy outdoor access would cost me $225 ! He said that is the competiteive price. So ridiculous, as most drain opening service is under $100 and most about $79 or less! He would let me talk and got very defensive when I said it is not competitive. Kept going on, without letting me have a word in. The worse response I have had from a plumber in 45 yrs owoing my home. I would not recommend these co. with such a defenseive attitude.
