I called 8:00am on 7/5/23 for a clogged toilet (4th time ) since they did the previous work which I now question their competency. I was told someone would be out by 9:30am. I received a call back a short time later. Said they had a big job and couldn't get someone here until 1:00pm. At 2:30 I called and was told it would be another hour before someone could get here. At 4:15pm I called and forget today and rescheduled until this morning, 7/6/23. ton 7/6/23 I called to verify that they would be here shortly. Was told by 10:00am. About 9:45am I called again. Answer was between 10:00 am and 11:00am. At 11:01am I called another company.
This company is part of Neighborly.com family of home services. I have to wonder if their other services are just as unreliable.

Simple, quick, effective. Excellent pricing for a quick sewer drain clean-out. Jeff K. found the best access point and got the work done with no problem and no mess.

Don't bother with this company. They're unreliable, bad at communication. They'll only take big jobs, and will promise to take smaller jobs (but they won't, they'll just waste your time).

Arranged an appointment, the plumber came and assessed the job and told me they would send me a quote by end of day. They didn't send a quote. A couple of days later I called the office and let them know I was waiting on a quote. They told me they'd get it to me soon. I called again after a few more days of not receiving a quote. They then told me I could have the plumber come in the morning. I waited until 2:30pm that day and the plumber never showed. Called the office and they said they couldn't reach the plumber via phone (no one was answering). They told me there was nothing they could do. They wasted my time. This all happened over 2 weeks. They had plenty of time to sort this out.

Called for a continually clogged toilet. Within about an hour Serge from Mr Rooter was at my door and had me back ""in business"" in no time.

I have a clogged toilet and this company told me they would send someone out within an hour or hour and a half, I called again after 2 hours and again they said that it would take another hour but they assured me that a tech would come out. Another 2 hrs pass and nothing. I called and now they will not even return my call. It's unprofessional to assure service and then not have the decency to call and say no one is coming. I could have tried elsewhere. Very disappointing.

Called Mr. Rooter for an emergency visit where sewage was backing up into my showers and toilets (so gross) - they came out and snaked the main line, but were unable to clear the block. We eventually had it hydro jetted out by our usual plumber and things are good as new.

They didn't charge me because they couldn't clear the drain, which was very honest and impressive. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of the communication leading up to the service - they said a tech would arrive in 1-1 1/2 hours and would text me before arrival, but it took closer to 3 hours and I didn't get a text. I don't usually care much if that happens but I had a family emergency at the same time and was eager to get this resolved so I could head out.

Jeff and Billy seem to come to the rescue and do a great job!!! This time new plumbing needed for new washing machine... dont think those pipes have been redone since 1970!! So now up to date. Oh and what took me so long to put the outside water valve in a much more convenient place (15 years!!!!). Thank you guys. And to Jasmine for getting it all worked out!!

Our kitchen pipes under concrete cement were in shambles, but Jeff and billy came and really fixed up the whole thing extremely well.

I can't say the price was exactly how we liked it and we were charged above current market value, but you really cannot deny the work that was done. They were absolutely meticulous in how they planned and execute the whole thing.

If you want something done well and you have the money for it, this is the place for you.

The gas line to our dryer ruptured, predictably on a Monday evening. We called Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Torrance and they were able to send Jeremy out to help us by 11:00 the following morning. Jeremy was prompt, professional, and friendly. He swapped out our line, turned the gas back on, and he wouldn't leave the job until our tankless water heater booted up properly to deliver hot water again. Everything is now up and running perfectly. Also, their pricing is transparent and direct. No funny business or hidden fees here.

I would call Mr. RP of T again without hesitation.

From my first contact with Mr Rooter Plumbing of Torrance I was impressed with the professionalism, and courtesy, demonstrated by Jeff. The work was done on time, excellent job, cleaned up after the project. Jeff and Billy did a camera inspection and high velocity hydro scrub of our drains. The camera noted tree roots in the sewer line drain and Jeff's estimate of the cost of the project was very competitive and started the job immediately after I approved the job and they finished the very next day. Thank you Jeff for the awesome work you did! We highly recommend Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Torrance
