Mr. Rooter Plumbing of The Twin Cities
Company Overview
There’s a reason we’re called “Mister”. We aim to satisfy your plumbing and waste needs. Since we are family-operated business, our staff is treated like family, which means they serve our customers like family too. We are fully licensed, bonded, and insured. We live by the Neighborly, Done Right Promise: “It’s not over until it’s done properly!” Our expertise lies in plumbing, gas, drainage, and sewer because that’s our only business.
The original Mr. Rooter, founded in 1970, has maintained a set of core values centered on providing quality service at honest rates. Decades later, the original Mr. Rooter continues to serve homes and businesses across the Oklahoma City area. It remains independently owned and operated with strong community ties that made it all possible.
While I may not be a plumber, I am dedicated to customer service and helping those in need. In 2018, my husband Tony and I acquired the existing Mr. Rooter Plumbing of the Twin Cities and Rochester franchise. Our office team and service professionals are treated like family in hopes of establishing ourselves as the top employer. We anticipate our staff will treat our customers with respect, kindness, and integrity. We may not be the cheapest plumbing company in the Twin Cities, nor the priciest, but we work hard to be the best. We excel in plumbing, gas, drainage, and sewer services because that’s our specialty. I invite you to call us and see the Mr. Rooter difference.

Recommended Customer Reviews
They were very professional and courtious. A pleasure to do business with. I recommend them most highly.
Mr. Rooter, especially an office worker/manager there called Tim, gauges you on the price!!!!! Watch out what you pay down etc. because Mr. Rooter/Tim is sneaky as can be. $11.000 for a relining job which is wayyyyy too much regardless of the ""overhead"" excuses etc. he uses to justify it. Then after the cleaning but before the lining job I wanted to pull out because I knew I was getting gauged by Mr. Rooter and Tim claimed they did $4000 worth of work already. Baloney! Cleaning is $1400, add may be $500 in other labor related to the job but certainly not $4000 worth. The crews who came to the house were good and pros etc. but the manager Tim in the office doesn't know what he's doing (except for gauging people who can't afford it!). The crews do great work and are professionals IMO but you should shop around elsewhere for better rates. Have them only do the minimum required to get your plumbing up and running again and then take your time to shop around. Just because the plumbing companies are big name companies it does NOT mean their prices are any good, nor their service level is any good.
Damon M.Still waiting for appointment but seems like a good buy for the money. Clean and plenty focus on the customer
After many years of thinking about it, I decided to have a second water hook up installed outside. I called on a Saturday and had Ruslan out on Sunday to evaluate my project. He was able to complete the project on the same day! Very happy to have him come in and help me with this project.
I requested that they Reconnect the gas line to my stove which was disconnected when I put in a new floor. The cost upfront for a visit was $59.00 and when he arrived he quoted me over $550.00 to reconnect the line and check for leaks. I told him no thanks.
Great service, showed up when expected and did a fast and competent repair. Its my 2nd experience with Mr. Rooter and both have very professional and efficient.
Should have looked at the reviews prior to hiring Mr. Rooter. They will charge an outrageous price for a simple job. Mr. Rooter replaced a small gas pipe and charged me $2,000. Yes, not a typo...TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS to replace a 2 foot gas pipe! I was told by another plumber that it should've been no more than $300 to do the job, because it was really simple. I felt taken advantage of and will never use them again. Look at the reviews. I would not recommend using Mr. Rooter Plumbing.
They were quick to respond and quick to do the work at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this company for all your plumbing needs. Kris C. was very helpful and professional.
I Highly recommend Derek O from Mr. Rooter. I feel bad that so many people say they had bad experiences, I did not. I made the mistake of moving my stove without disconnecting it first, and in doing so, I bent the copper feed pipe which created a pinhole leak that allowed the house to slowly fill up with gas. When I returned from work the next day, it was clear that an emergency situation had manifested. I called an emergency gas leak number from Google and without knowing, Mr. Rooter was dispatched. Like many of you, I was astounded at the quote to fix my little mistake. Originally the entire fix was way more than I could afford and Derek was extremely understanding, empathetic and professional about the situation. He was able to work with me on an affordable fix that I was willing to pay based on my own idiotic mistake.
Be smart to avoid these accidents in your home if you don't want to face paying the price to fix them!
Derek's knowledge of his trade and his customer service were far above what I expected when I called in an emergency situation. He arrived 15 min after I called and within 20 min gave me options to fix the issue. While he was here, despite my anger about having to pay quite a bit for a simple mistake, he talked to me in a comforting and understanding tone and offered to look at any other issues I may have in the house before leaving.
I will certainly be calling Mr. Rooter back and asking for Derek! He's a dedicated professional who knows his craft and trade well, which is hard to find!
I do NOT recommend this company for your sewer needs. They charged me over $1000 for cleaning and weren't able to clean it all. They then quoted me for a full repair at greater than $12,000 plus the removal of a massive tree in my front yard. I got a second opinion and a sewer specialist was able to clean for much cheaper without need for full repair and I was able to save the tree. Mr Rooter took advantage of me as a young female new home owner.
