I had a sewer line the was clogged and backing up into both bathrooms in the house. I tried to snake it out with my auger, but the clog was further down the line than my 25' auger could reach. I read the previous reviews on Mr. Rooter and decided to call. Steve Amos came out. Very professional, clean, and thorough. Since my house didn't have a cleanout, Steve needed to remove the toilet, send the auger down the sewer line to cut out the blockage. He then videoed the sewer line to make sure the line had been cleaned. He videoed it all the way to the City's sewer main. He then replaced the toiled and cleaned everything. Cost was $310. I was expecting to pay between $300 and $350 based on reviews of similar, so was happy with the price.

Steve also explained the benefits of having a sewer cleanout. He also recommend where it is likely located. He didn't try and push the installation of the cleanout, just talked about the benefits. He also made some general recommendations about the water system and heater for the house.

I've had shady service people do work before, and have had the bad experiences that people usually write about. It was nice to have a straightforward, honest job done.

I am very, very happy with the Steve's work. Would definitely use Mr. Rooter again. When I do, I'll ask for Steve.

I cant begin to tell you how great Mr. Plumber is. I had nothing but great customer service with this outfit. From the time I called to when their technician packed up, it was professional and done with a positive attitude. I cant even imaging having to be around the sight and smell of poo all day and still be able to put on a smile for customers.

About once a year my main line from the house to the sewer gets clogged because I have a huge tree in my front yard and the roots intrude into the pipe. This morning at 7am my wife flushes the toilet and it backs up. I went straight to my fridge and got Mr. Rooter's phone number off the magnet they gave me during their last visit. I left a message at their answering service and my phone call was returned with in 20 minutes by a very pleasant woman to schedule a time for a technician to come out. At 830am their technician Evan showed up. I explained to him whats going on and he went to work.
About 30 minutes later, he cleared out my main line and showed me where the roots where intruding into my pipe via their video snake. He recommend a hydro scrubbing to ""cut"" the roots.

The best part of this experience was when he was about to give me my bill. I look at it and it said $0.00. I didn't know this but Mr. Rooter has a one return trip warranty on all of their work! So since I had them snake out my line last year it was covered under their warranty! SWEET! I was expecting to shell out some major cash to have this service completed! Yes, plumbing is expensive but with a warranty like this its worth it.

Overall GREAT customer service, friendly, knowledgeable technicians and great locally owned responsive company.

Mr. Rooter is my go to plumber!

This company is overpriced! Steve came and gave me an estimate to replace two kitchen faucets, soap dispenser and sprayer (I had already bought the hardware and he was just going to do the installation) He quoted me $547.00!!!

I found another plumber who replaced the hardware for $200 and it took him a little less than 2hrs. Faucets look great and work great. What a difference in costs. I don't know what Mr. Rooter was thinking with the outrageous price quote. I gave one star because Steve seemed like a nice, friendly guy. Definitely do your comparison shopping.

Overall the service was excellent from the initial call to job completion. The call center who took my call was very professional and personable. The technician, Steve Amos, was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and very patient with explaining the problem and solution. In addition, Steve was very prompt and great with returning my calls. Considering the toilet problem I had, my experience with Mr. Rooter was excellent.

Just had my water heater replaced by Dave. Got to say that this guy really knows his stuff and has a lot of integrity. I am a do-it-yourself guy, yet Dave steered me clear of spending a bunch of unnecessary money and did an excellent install. The inexpensive thermal expansion tank he recommended makes a big difference and gives me piece of mind as I use to have excessive pressure when I cracked the faucet first thing in the morning (now I know why). Great guy and honest business.

Steve Amos, who has been mentioned here elsewhere, came out to work on my plugged drains. It was a Sunday at 8AM, and I had no trouble reaching him or getting him out to do the work. Roto Rooter had been out a year previous and charged $320 to go in from the roof vent and route out the drain. I was not there for their service, but it was competent. Steve came out and really impressed me with his thoroughness and capableness. He did recommend an expensive option going in, which is the same thing that Roto Rooter had recommended, but explained why and at the end of the service agreed that that was not the right move for me. He would not go on the roof, citing safety concerns, but charged $225 to route the drain, and $75 to access the main, with the side benefit that I could service it myself in the future. Total cost was $300, less than Roto Rooter had charged. He showed me the problems in my main with a camera. I was thoroughly satisfied and would absolutely call them again if I needed to. I'm going to use Root X to see if that controls things, but thanks to Steven I now have an easy way to route my own drain for $60 instead of calling them again. By the way, he was courteous, clean, did not even enter my house at any time, and really took care of things.

I called Mr. Rooter to look at some problems my tenant was having at the condo I own. She was complaining that the toilet was constantly running (and possibly leaking), the bath tub was draining poorly, and the kitchen sink was occasionally leaking; fairly common problems. I was out of town and didn't want to deal with looking at this myself, so I called Mr. Rooters. They were very friendly and Steve came out ASAP to look at the problem. I spoke to him on the phone, and I agree that he was very detailed and explained everything very well. So far so good, right?

WRONG! The first option given was to replace the toilet and the garbage disposal for $1150, or they would fix everything for $500. I've never heard of having to replace a toilet because it was running, and this sounded much too expensive to me. The garbage disposal is only a few years old as well. Instead of throwing my money down the toilet, I enlisted my dad to come check things out with me. $30 and 3 hours later all problems were fixed! All that needed to be changed on the toilet was to lower the ball, and we added some rubber washers to the screws in the back; which are holding the toilet bowl much more firmly in place. The toilet was leaking because people were leaning back too hard on it, which caused water to leak out from the seal of the toilet seak and bowl. The tub we just cabled out the hair, of course. And the kitchen sink.. 2 of the 3 screws holding the disposal had fallen off, which had caused the piping to come loose and leak. Steve had mentioned that one of the flanges on the pipe was damaged, which it was, but we replaced that with a $2 part from the nearby hardware store.

The people at Mr. Rooter seem good, but I am pretty pissed off that they were trying to charge me such high fees for problems that my dad and I fixed with no problems and little money. Next time I have problems I am DEFINITELY not calling these guys, if I call anyone at all.

Mr. Rooter was punctional and professional. After entering a request online, I was called within an hour. Evan came to inspect my leaky outdoor faucet one evening and returned the next day at 8am to make the repair. It was more complex than expected (3 hours instead of 1.5), but there weren't any extra charges. He did a free inspection of the plumbing throughout the house. If I ever face having to call a plumber, I'll be calling Mr. Rooter.

I dreaded having to call a plumber. Because of the reviews on Yelp I decided to contact Mr. Rooter. Now I see why this location got such good reviews.

I put in a request online to make a service appointment. In less then a few minutes they were calling me and I spoke to Delise. A very sweet lady. She was very pleasant and very accommodating. She called me throughout the day to give me updates on when the technician was going to be available so I didn't have to sit at home and wait for hours.

Evan, was the technician who came. My leaking faucet took a simple fix. Evan immediately knew what the problem was after I explained to him the symptoms. He took the time to explain why it was leaking and how I can fix it myself if it should happen again. Then he took the time to look at my toilets and my shower. He answered all my questions and gave me some helpful tips on how to prevent future problems. He was very informative and explained things in a way I could understand.

On top of all this great service, I wasn't charged a penny!

I was very pleased and impressed with them!
