Moving back to Spokane into the family home after my mother's unfortunate passing, the home was in serious need of TLC where the plumbing was concerned. Though the bill in the end was rather steep, the customer service, technicians being very personable, and the efficiency in which they worked to upgrade everything was spectacular. Their knowledge and suggestions as I described upgrades in the kitchen and other desires throughout the house, especially fixing an extremely old shut off valve in the basement that was nearly ready to break and flood the basement, was top notch. I am on their yearly member plan for the discounts, and they give veteran discounts too. Again, despite some costing issues (the new toilets were not cheap, though I could have acquired them cheaper myself from Lowes or...), they are top notch when it comes to getting the job done and getting it done right.

Called them to do a simple snake of the main line. When they got here, they said that it was going to be 638.00 to clear the line? Like we can afford that? The prices are FAR above average for the area based on service provided. My best advice is that if you have a plumbing problem, don't call these guys unless you really don't care about money or your budget. To me, that pricing is a RIP off when the next company I called said that they could do it for 79.00

We began having problems with the water backing up in the house...we had a plumbing company (not Mr. Rooter) come out to diagnose the problem and when the plumber arrived and without checking a thing diagnosed the problem as a drain field failure...I asked him to leave because I wasn't going to pay 4000.00 to 7000.00 for problem he hadn't had actually determined was correct so we called Mr. Rooter and plumbers Nathan and Dan came out and they were AWESOME!!!...they were kind and professional and took the time to adequately diagnose the problem (and it wasn't a drain field failure)... our septic tank had just outlived its effectiveness and so we decided to hook up to the sewer line. We chose to go with Mr. Rooter for our conversion to sewer because of Nathan and Dans very competent and professional service. Also we like to give a shout-out to Marcos who headed up the team that hooked us up to the sewer line...we encountered quite a few obstacles with the city when installing the line but Marcos took on every challenge thrown at him professionally and we are now connected to the main line...

Marcus, from Spokane Mr. Rooter, came 12 miles out of town to give us an estimate on repair of our main water line from the well, which I had been struggling to fix for two days. Mr Rooter has helped us before, successfully. They were the only company that sent someone out of the 4 we contacted. We were out of water and DIY options, as far as I could tell, having spent 2 grueling days excavating and wallowing in mud to find the problem. Marcus observed while I turned the water line on so we could see what was still leaking after my unsuccessful repair and said all I needed was a repair coupler, a part I didn't know about. I got one, he'd told me how to install it, and a potential big money repair job and no water for a week was averted. Many thanks, Mr. Rooter will be our first choice when out next water or plumbing system problem arises.

The plumber that came to my house should be fired for the downright criminal quote he gave me and his outright lies about the cost of pex. He was the first plumber I had out to my house where basically, I was going to rip out the toilet, sink, and walls in my house. Then I was going to have the plumber replace some bad pvc piping with pex tubing. We're talking about maybe 20 feet of total pipe to connect my tub, toilet, bathroom and kitchen sink. All the pipe would be exposed and easy to access except for one part that was a little harder to get to. First I had to tell him what code was about pvc, and he had to call someone to confirm what I had told him. Then he was giving me this story about how he just needed more work, so he was only going to charge me their flat rate for 10 feet of pipe rather than 20, and he'd throw in all the fittings for free. He said the fittings alone would cost $1500, and quoted me a total of just over $2200. He said that anyone else would charge $5k for the same job. Then, he said it's not like he doesn't have work, he just doesn't want to do the other work he had to do on a sewer line. Well, I called a plumber at roto rooter who said that some of the techs at Mr. rooter would be competitive with him, but others will quote through the roof. He said he could do it all with parts and labor for a range between $600-$1000, most of which is labor. I ended up going with a 3rd option (Carey Roemer Plumbing) who did that, plus installing a garbage disposal for $600 because roto-rooter wouldn't be available in the timeframe I wanted. Pex tubing and fittings are dirt cheap! This guy was a total liar trying to tell me the hardware would be $1500 and he was giving it away for free. Always get a few quotes!

What a nightmare!!! Called them on Friday, very nice and came out on Sunday to check the project.
Agreed to do it on Thursday.
When Thursday came the secretary called that there was an emergency so instead of coming at 8 am they would be coming Between 11 and 1.
In the meantime time we have been having a leaking tube behind the faucet for a week now but what the heck...that is NOT an emergency for them.
No show and no contact until at 2,30 the plumber calls and says he CANNOT do the job because he does not want to use copper tubing that we bought and work cannot be up to code...
WHAT? Didn't you know that when you agreed on doing the job???
Well, estimate as really expensive anyway but WHY DID YOU WASTE MY TIME????

Would NEVER deal with this company again! Installed a toilet at for a outlandish cost and now it is leaking water!!! In addition, a quote to complete an additional problem was nearly double what another company charged to repair.
