Refuses to give a price over the phone, charged a $100 dispatch fee. You cant get a price until the technician is onsite and you have paid $100. Tech then tries to charge $800 for drain cleaning. Have had other companies do it for $200 in the past. 4x the price no wonder they wont give you a price over the phone. A complete ripoff. Find a small plumbing operation if you need your drains cleaned without cleaning your pocket at the same time.

Out first experience with Mr. Rooter Plumbing and we couldn't be happier. Lewis, our Plumbing Technician, was prompt, professional and exceptionally nice. He's just the type of professional you hope for when you call for help. Based on this we'd definitely (although hopefully won't have to) work with them again.

Called this company to replace an outside faucet. They insisted on charging me $49.99 on my credit card before they'd come out. The money would be applied if you use them but if you don't, you're out the money. They arrived promptly and gave such a ridiculous cost for this simple job (over $800.00!!) that I asked them to leave. Called another professional plumber who came out (no charge) and did the job for $115 (and received a good tip from me). This company charges far over the standard prices and you'd do well to check with others before hiring them no matter how prompt they are.

This is the second time in as many years I've used Mr. Rooter for plumbing services with absolutely no issues or complaints. The woman that scheduled the appointment was very nice and attentive and was able to accommodate some last minute changes I had to make due to a scheduling conflict on my part.

Jared and Eric came to my house to install a new gas range. Despite having to pull permits and all that good stuff the price was fair, the guys were very professional and super friendly. They called 30 minutes before they arrived and were smack dab in the middle of the 2 hour window I was given. They did the job quickly and effectively and even helped me bring my old gas range out to the curb. I don't see myself using any other plumbing service in the near future.

Replaced an outdoor faucet... maybe more expensive, but prompt, reliable, clean, quick, competent. I bought a 3 year membership for $100 and got a discount right away. I'll be preferred for future emergencies and good discounts on work. When you need a plumber, you usually can't wait!

I discovered what I believed to be a toilet leak the other day. I contacted Mr. Rooter through Home Advisors and they sent a technician out immediately. As it turned out, it was not the toilet leaking, but a failing valve. Decided to have the valve fix and replace the toilet, which was scheduled in 2 days. This was fine until the valve began to leak like crazy overnight. I called Jodi at Mr. Rooter in the morning and the franchise owner himself came out later that day to replace the valve. The toilet was then replaced the following day. I was incredibly impressed with everyone at this company. From the original technician to Jodi at the office to the owner and finally Jared who replaced the toilet! May have been able to do it less expensively, but could never have received this level of service! PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL!!! Hard to put a price on that.

The guy that tried to set up our appointment was VERY RUDE to us. Do not give this company business.. they do not deserve it. We called him back to tell him the basin will not be drained out of our sump pump by the time someone showed up and when he answered the phone, he answered with ""YESSSSS"" all annoyed. As I told him we don't want his business anymore, he hung up on me.

No one should be treated with this much disrespect. Isn't this their job? Clearly this guy is in the wrong profession.

Carefully tested everything before leaving.
Very thorough! Made me aware of problems to watch and repaired something that wasn't working without being asked at no charge.
While this seems a small matter, Todd kept his tools carefully assembled on a cloth, took all of them with him. How often do you find tools left behind and have to add a step to return them?

I used to use Mr. Rooter Plumbing for all my plumbing needs. As a landlord, I don't mind paying a premium for quality and reliability, and I even signed up for their annual service agreement. Two years ago I had them replace a sewage ejector in one of my units. Last month my tenant was experiencing intermittent flooding. Naturally I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing for service. It cost me over $200 for them to even open up the sewage ejector to see what was wrong. I didn't mind that because that's much better than allowing the ejector to continue having problems and eventually seize up, which would cost another $1,000 to replace. But, after opening it up, the technicians determined that it was a design flaw with the floater. One of the technicians actually said to me that's why his company doesn't install that type of sewage ejector and, although they adjusted it, if it has problems again I will have to replace it. When I reminded him that they did in fact install the ejector he was flabbergasted. The other technician started to remember that it was at actually he that bought and installed the thing. And when they got back to the office, they confirmed the fact. Of course they refunded me the service charge, but I'm still stuck with a substandard sewage ejector in one of my units.

The sewage ejector is a key part of the plumbing system. They refuse to do anything about the fact that they charged me over $1,000 for a quality product, but they failed to install a quality product. I don't want any other small business owner to experience problems like this.
