Showed up for $90, quoted $460 to snake a sink drain pipe that was highly accessible. That's right, $460 to snake a sink drain pipe. Not my kind of folk -- sent them packing. Wasted $90.

I purchased 2 new faucets that I wanted replaced in the kitchen and mud room as well as move the current one from the kitchen to the granny unit. I called Mr.Rooter to get the job done hoping for a decent pricing but boy was I wrong! I like the fact that they came out quick and fast and they didn't charge me for a travel fee. When they came out, they told me that it would cost $400 to change EACH FAUCET totaling to $1200!!!!!! I told him NO WAY am I paying that when I purchased the faucet for $400 each at Home Depot. Price gouge and rip off! A fair and decent price would have probably been around $150 each and I was willing to pay that.
After he left, my hubby got youtubing and looking up videos online. He ended up changing the faucets himself and learned something new in the process. If you don't mind being on your back for a bit with your arms raised and doing a bit of research on your own, try to DO IT YOURSELF. We are in inflation here people so any way to save money. We saved $1200 just by doing it ourselves. I do not recommend Mr.Rooter. Way too expensive for the ordinary family in Sonoma County.

I've used these guys for both of our businesses, vacation rentals, and personal home, but something has truly changed. I call them about an issue and had to call them back because it reoccurred. The plumber tried to tell me it was my pump now, 'it has gone out"" he said. He said he could take it apart and put it back together to see if it starts back up for $800. I called my neighbor and asked how much he purchased the pump for (the neighbor installed the last pump) and the neighbor said the pump runs about $200. Why take it apart for $800 and you can buy a new one for $200. What a rip off. Nevertheless, the neighbor plugged the pump in and it's work fine. It has been a couple of months and the old pump is still working.
How, soon we forget. I called Mr. Rooter again for a different property and he performed some work on our small hotel. A number of toilets were backing up. I had Chris, the assigned plumber, to speak with our Maintenance Engineer so that he could tell Chris where to go in to clean the main line, well Chris didn't take that route and went in somewhere else. Chris said he cleared the main line and all should be well. $$$919. Well in less than 12 hours, the same thing occurred, they sent someone out and the next plumber went in where Chris was told to go in (but didn't) and he cleared the mainline. This guy charged me $1015. I tried telling him that Chris was supposed to have gone there yesterday. He said he can't be responsible for what another plumber did. I told him this is not plumber vs. plumber, this is Mr. Rooter. I will never use these guys again. If you do not want to be ripped off, disregarded and disrespected; STAY AWAKE. Please tell your family, friends, and neighbors that this company has gone bad. Always get a second opinion or 3 quotes.

We happened upon these guys by luck and we have used them for many projects now. They are quick and dependable and totally professional - especially during Covid. It's usually not a great day when you have to have the plumber come but their friendly staff and efficient service makes it less painful. We had a scheduling snafu and they still got a crew out the same day and did great work. I tell them every time they leave that I hope not to see them again...but I know I will and we will be in good hands.

I would pick 0 stars but that's not an option unfortunately - these guys tried to rip me off by quoting me a toilet removal and installation that was gonna cost me 1017.00 ! Crazy ! And the technician didn't listen me and then when I made this an issue the manager accompanied him back didn't introduce himself and had an arrogant attitude and basically wrote me off. Total jerk and unprofessional. Toilet worked fine and cost 27.00 to replace a broken piece. Total rip off

Good availability. Clean and courteous. Clogged sink drain pipe was apparently cleared, although I read here that their 3 year warranty may be of dubious value. OUTRAGEOUS PRICES!!! Also installed the cheapest possible piece-of-s**t drain strainer in a very expensive farmhouse sink. Clearing pipe: $675. Five dollar drain strainer installed: $250. Total: $925. Time spent actually working: less than an hour. Should have cost half that total. Never again.

Their technician Sam prevented a very bad leak from happening under our main toilet. Thanks!

We had Mr. Rooter out for a clogged shower drain a few years ago. It was rather expensive but, the service provider said we had a 3 year warranty. If we had any problems just call. Well, before the warranty period was up we were experiencing the same drain being very slow. We called Mr. Rooter they came out and said the drain wasn't slow enough to service and tried to sell my wife some type of organic drain cleaner. Within a few weeks the drain was completely clogged. We called another plumber to solve our drain issue. I strongly believe in using local businesses, but I cannot recommend a business that will not stand behind a warranty promise. I will go out of my way to never call Mr. Rooter ever again.

I was desperate & called this company to unclog my toilet. The only compliment I can give them is that the plumber arrived at the specified time.
Said plumber informed me that he would have to remove the entire toilet to fix it . I asked him if he could use a plunger & he told me it's against their policy because it may harm the porcelain . I asked him if he could use a rubber plunger & he was adamant that the toilet had to be pulled up from the floor. Then he quoted me $ 550.00 . I told him no thanks . Luckily my sis brought me a plunger & I fixed it myself. This company is terrible! Save your money & buy a plunger.

These guys will come in a day or two but their prices are outrageous! Just needed a few valves replaced under a sink and it was over $400. I was in a bind and paid it but would not call them again. It was likely $150 job, $50 part that took less than an hour. I learned.
The technician that came was very nice and professional.
I'd use them again if not for the high price.
