Do not use these people! I paid $350 and found that I had a problem, a root has pierce my main drain, but nothing else. Two young men came to my house, the first knew something, the second one, nothing. The second one tried to scour the insides my kitchen drain, but failed and had to let the first man take over. The first one showed me an image that I couldn't see very well showing the root problem. He made no attempt to go further into the drain, or snip the root: in other words, I have no idea of the real condition of the main drain and if it might have other problems. He simply stopped when he saw the root, packed up and gave me an estimate for $5,200 of trenchless technology. I have zero confidence in this firm! Use them at your peril!

Let me start by saying that Paul Kitchen and his whole team of employees at Mr. Rooter are some of the best people I had the honor of meeting. I had septic/leach field problems and was uncertain where to turn. From the very start they were kind, courteous, and professional. They went the extra mile to explain the job and any unforeseen problems that may occur once they get started.. They even moved the job up a day to meet my needs. Not only did they find then fix the problems, but I now have a better septic/leach field because of them.
I have used Paul and his company for all my plumbing needs for many years and recommend him for any job large or small. They are the best in my book.
Thank you Paul for all your help.

Just got done with a Mr. Rooter team member named Jerry. He came out to my home on a Friday not get to uncle g a drain I clogged because my wife was right. Jerry was super efficient and friendly and low impact to our kiddie bedtime scene. Could not have had a better experience. Oh, and did I say, my wife was right?

I just had the best experience with Andrew from Mr. Rooter in Santa Rosa. I thought I had a toilet leak which was causing a very high water bill all of a sudden, and he came out right away. He checked several different things with my toilet and the meter and my water main. Luckily I didn't have a toilet leak, so now I have to figure out what it is. Andrew was professional, respectful, and gave me a lot of really good information. I will definitely call Mr. Rooter if I have any issues in the future.

Clear a plugged toilet. 1 hour to complete the job. Over $450. Outrageous. Never again. When you get good service you tell one person. When the service is poor you tell five people. I am telling everybody I know about this!!!

Nine months have passed since our water filtration system was installed. Water was running a tad slow so I called and asked advice. They sent out Carl and Gerry who were very patient with my lack of knowledge, showed me what to do and fixed the problem in probably five minutes. Water runs just like it did the day they originally left. These guys could not have been nicer nor more efficient. Highest recommendation for these people. From beginning to end working with Mr. Rooter has been a breeze.

I will simply state the facts, and you make the call. I needed the water heater replaced and hired these guys. Here's what it cost:

One 40 gallon water heater, installed ( parts & labor ) $ 2,400.00

My advice, shop around, get 3 to 5 price quotes.

They're very nice, polite, and show up on time. But I think $1100 for ""less than 2 hrs labor, and about $20 in parts"" is a bit over priced. Duhhhh yep!

I found two other plumbers who were just as nice, polite, and punctual who would do the same job for less than $300, and hired one.

We called Mr. Rooter on the recommendation of some co-workers who'd had good experiences with them in the past. Our toilets were backing up (both of them) and sediment was bubbling up through the shower drains, so we were sort of expecting the worst. When I called them they offered an appointment within a day or two, but I opted for the following Monday. Andrew and his colleague arrived that morning, and from the start were attentive, professional, and efficient. They discovered debris and root growth in our main sewer line and offered an estimate of around $1800. Expensive, yes, but they then proceeded to dig a deep hole around the cast iron pipe in the yard outside the bathroom, remove the old pipe and install a new one, along with a new access joint. It was an all-day job, and everything was restored to its original place inside and out. Throughout the process, I was shown the clogged pipe, and informed on next steps and completion plan. I suppose we might have found a cheaper alternative (perhaps), but for efficiency and professionalism, they're hard to beat.

My daughter who is a student at SSU, called because their garbage disposal was not working in the brand new home her and 3 other girls share. The person that came out quoted her $300 for a diagnosis and $500 for a new disposal.
Knowing this is a brand new home with a brand new disposal he should have simply referred to the construction company that is still on sight.
Even with out doing the right thing, a new disposal runs for $40 to $100 at home depot.
Why would they need a $300 diagnosis and a $500 disposal?
How dare you try to take advantage of these young college girls.
You do not deserve to be in business, you give contractors a VERY BAD NAME.
