I had an emergency on a Saturday (toilet water leaking into my kitchen) and called a couple of companies but nobody even answered the phone. I was really starting to panic. Then I called Mr. Rooter and the phone was answered by a very professional young lady and within an hour I had a plumber knocking on my door. The Plumber, Mr Suarez, was polite and friendly. He quickly diagnosed my problem and had it fixed within an hour. He also provided helpful information and worked collaborativly with my contractor. I will be using Mr Rooter again and am grateful that they were able to respond to my emergency in such a timely and professional manner.

Mr. Rooter came out to my house to give me a quote to clear a clogged toilet. The quote was just under $500 to clear a simple toilet clog. It was such an outrageous amount for such a simple job! So I immediately sent them away. Then I found Flowright Plumbing who fixed it for under $100 and they were so pleasant and efficient. I will call Flowright in the future for any plumbing issues!

Update: After learning of some issues that I had with the water heater installation, Mr. Rooter sent a manager and the same tech out to fix the problems. This involved bringing someone in to repair and paint the damaged section of wall, sanding down and painting the step, and installing a new overflow pan, which meant uninstalling and re-installing the water heater. I am truly impressed with the level of service they gave and quite happy with the results. Thank you so much!

The only way Mr Rooter would be worth calling is if you have something wrong on a holiday evening that can be fixed with minimal work. Otherwise, their prices are vastly inflated(to cover their same price all the time) and they do not stand behind their work. When I first started using them, they seemed like quality. Now estimates and work orders are written so that they don't have to cover anything.

A $450 main line hydro scrub because of problems I was having with my main line at a rental was written as ""kitchen sink"" rendering their warranty on it useless if the other sinks continue to have issues.

Great experience today with Mr Rooter Plumbing. Called them regarding a leaky toilet. Got an appointment right away. The plumber arrived on time, was courteous, diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. Would highly recommend them.

I wish I could rate them higher - professional, friendly, thorough and fair - a great company!

We used Mr. Rooter to install whole house descaling and filter systems. Two people came out to bid the work and spent almost an hour to understand the systems and parts we would supply, and the parts and services they needed to provide. The foreman of the crew assigned to do the work had years of experience, including similar systems, and they were in and out in less than a day, minimizing disruption. After the installation crew left, one of the people who bid the job initially came back to inspect the work and make sure we were happy.

We've done quite a bit of work on the house and have worked with a lot of contractors. Mr. Rooter's approach is one of the best we've seen to insure a high quality job. They're not the cheapest or the most expensive, but the prices are fair and the work is superb. We'll use them again!

I used this company last week. First off, these guys do what appears to be adequate work. However, they are what others have said, total rip offs. I made a huge mistake using them, probably paying well over $500 too much. I too late checked with a qualified plumber and they did unnecessary work and way over charged for what they did. They also pull this scam where they make you members of their ""club"" and then reduce your bill by 15%. BUT your bill is inflated by way more than 15%. Also, their trucks are not marked with the name of their company. I think there something fishy here. Maybe they are ""independent contractors"" and the company is a sham. Either way, unless you want to pay too much STAY AWAY!

These folks in Santa Rosa are crooks. They just looked at the toilet, wanted to remove the toilet, insect the drain do a full diagnosis at LOTS of $$$$$. We called someone else and they did the job in 15 min.

These people at Mr. Rooter think they can screw an older person.

Very expensive charge. Only 30 minutes work charges $375. Ridiculous price. I won't use it any more.
