Very impressed with their service! After waiting 5 days for my home warranty company to get someone out for a sewer back-up (yes - the main sewer line to the house) the company that finally came out was here 2 hours and still unable to clear it. I was being told the line was probably collapsed. Not what you want to hear after having only purchased the house 3 months prior. I wasn't going to wait another 5 days for my home warranty company to try to get someone else out so in desperation I called Mr. Rooter. I admit I did try calling a couple of other plumbing services first but no one answers their phones and the one other one that did wanted to charge over $100 more for the exact same service! Called Mr. Rooter and they actually answered. They were booked but said if there was a cancellation they would call. A couple of hours later I got a call - they'd had a cancellation and could come right away. They were here probably 10 minutes and had the line clear! Having many years of experience and the right equipment makes all the difference. My home is older and apparently in an area that is notorious for having sewer/plumbing issues. (Ugh! - Had no idea when I bought the house.) So I have a feeling this isn't the end of the problems. But, if it's not, I know who I'll be calling. They did right by me and have earned my business and my trust. Thank you Mr. Rooter!
Make sure you ask about warranty policies before you move forward with them. Make sure you get an invoice as well. Take pictures of before and after. Ask for all the parts that were removed. Make sure you cover yourself.
Two months after they performed a job at my home, we have the same problem. They said they changed the shower valves and left ""as new"", then they turn around and said tenants broke it and admitted to excessive wear and abuse. They basically did not honor their warranty, claiming misuse. To make matters worse, they removed the valve from cold water handle when the hot water one was the issue and dropped the washer and/or screw into the wall, saying we now need to have shower wall removed and possibly hammer the shower floor to get it out. Currently, the water pressure in the house is off and there is no hot water. They turned water power on/off in hopes to create pressure so the washer piece or screw would be forced out. Basically they left it worse. I attempted to talk to the owner. The wife concluded that I was calling her husband a liar when I said no one at the house did what they claimed had been done (to avoid the warranty). I said if we can't agree to something, we're going to have to resolve in court. She raises her voice and said, now you're threatening me. I was to have a talk with the owner later in the day, instead, he only called to say, ""Talk to your attorney"" Honestly!! Are there honest business owners out there!!!
I would give them 0 stars for not even attempting to resolve this properly. Especially when they left the issue worse!
Martha L.Me. Rooter Plumming did a wonderful job for me when I had multiple leaks in water pipes in the downstairs ceiling of my house. Their price was extremely reasonable and they were very nice people to work with. They were professional and sympathetic to my problem. James, the owner came to my property himself to diagnose and repair the problem that we discovered was caused by a rat chewing holes in the water pipes. I highly recommend this very professional company and plan to use them in the future if I have other plumbing problems.
Allegra M.My parents had a major grease blockage between the house and the septic tank. Sewage water was coming up the drains and the toilets where not flushing. Technician Mike B. Was great. He arrived first thing Monday morning. He was very polite, professional and honest. He fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. Mike made some recommendations to help with the problem in the future. Thank you for helping my parents. We will continue using Mr. Rooter plumbing and will be happy to recommend your company to others.
Scott S.These guys are awesome. We had a plumbing problem over the weekend and they were quick to respond. They charged a fair price and helped me understand how I can avoid this same problem in the future. They also left the place very clean. I was pleased to know they have 3 plumbers and all of the equipment to tackle the bigger jobs. With over 100 units to keep up, I will definitely use them in the future. I strongly recommend them.
Emily M.Mike came out within an hour of our emergency plumbing problem. He was so helpful and kind and fixed the problem that day. Thank you for coming out on a Sunday and helping us! We're so thankful for you!
Dawne & James seriously took amazing care and fit us in to fix our shower before our Christmas visitors arrived! In the end, my shower works better than it did when it was new! Thanks so much, guys! :)
Desiree C.Amazing work, James reviewed all the pipes and because our house is so old pipes aren't as great as they should. James gave us some great information how to make our plumbing work better. So glad we called them. AWESOME EXPERIENCE
Jimmy A.I had an emergency when my water heater went out (baby and wife need hot water), I will say that they did get a technician out in a very timely manner on a weekend and the technician was friendly. But I was initially told my thermocoupler needed to be replaced to get me back up and running and they gave me the quote for that which I agreed to. well 237.00 dollars later I was told that was not the problem and that my entire water heater needed to be replaced. So, I'm not sure why I had to pay 237 dollars for something that did not fix the problem.... Didn't really seem right to me. Of course I'd have to pay the service fee for coming out and what not, but not for the part about the Job quote that they said would fix the problem which it did not. They gave me a quote for a new water heater and installation....seemed pretty high (just my guess)...anyways I ended up having another company come out (through my home warranty, since 1400 or so dollars was too much for me in my mind for a new one) and they put a new water heater in, they agreed that the price I was quoted was several hundred dollars more than it should have been. Happy with the timely response....not as happy with the service/work (and the gentleman was friendly who did the work, just in regards to the actual work service part that I wasn't pleased with).
The best service in town! James and his crew were very prompt and professional. They charge the same price at any hour of the day or night. They carry the right tool for any job. Other plumbers call them! No job is too big for these guys. I will not call or recommend any other plumbing company. THANK YOU James for relieving my sewer line and my headache!!
