I love these guys, we inherited a contract the previous homeowners of our house had with them and they have just been amazing. They have replaced two of our toilets and it's just been a great process each time. Their staff are polite, educated and great to speak with. I'll always prefer them as my plumber.

Zeke was great!!! The offered to come to my home to provide me with a free estimate on what I thought was the replacement of the hot water shut off valve under my sink. Zeke took one look, noticed that the nut behind the valve had been loosened when I had shut it off to replace a gasket on the faucet. He grabbed his wrench, turned it a half turn, checked the cold water valve to make sure it was tight and told me that was it. Then he refused to charge me anything!!! Talk about great customer service! He said, that's just the kind of company they are! They'll be my first call next time I need a plumber. Thanks Zeke!

I had that awful gray plumbing that started springing leaks. I knew it needed to be replaced sooner than later because of the failing connections. I had my entire house plumbing and hot water heater replaced by Mr. Rooter.
Paul came out to give me a quote and explained the whole process. The entire crew of Mr. Rooter was very professional, tidy, efficient and courteous! The job took two days to complete. They kept cleaning behind themselves and even made sure to hook up our water (and new water heater) for the first night before they left. Amazing customer service and quality work! I recommend them to anyone asking for plumbing services.

We called for a broken garage disposal. A guy named came by and told us that it would be $4,000 to replace, but he could do it ""under the table"" for $2,500. My husband looked up the part that needed to be replaced to see if he could do it himself. The part costs $100 brand new from Home Depot. The guy called back to see if we had made a decision. My husband told him what he had found out online and directly asked him if he was trying to scam us. The guy immediately hung up. Bought the part and doing the repair ourselves. We will also be calling the report this worker to the company.

Paul and Alex were very professional and showed up within the time window stated. They diagnosed our issue and had our toilet functional very quickly. They also gave helpful recommendations for future. We will definitely use Mr. Rooter again.

First, the good: showed up on time, job was done well, explained what he was doing. All that was great. No issues with the workmanship or capability.

The bad: when I received the estimate, I indicated that it seemed really, really high for the job. I was informed that it was so high because it would take four hours. I grudgingly accepted because I was desperate and needed the work done. Sure enough, the job only took two hours (not a rushing two hours; a pretty relaxed pace of two hours)--yet I was still charged for four hours, resulting in a rate that is astronomical. I respect the skill needed for plumbing work--I truly do. $270+ (labor only) per hour feels very unfair.

So grateful to Mr Rooter. I had a sewer backup Sunday evening. I called Mr Rooter first thing Monday morning and got scheduled the same day. The service professional showed up on the early side of my window and got right to work and cleared the line. Many thanks to Heather, the schedule coordinator, and Mark and Chauncey the Service Professionals with Mr Rooter. I would recommend Mr Rooter.

Great company. Paul was in my kitchen less than 2 hours after I called the main line. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, and he fixed the problem quickly. He explained the issue clearly and also told us how to avoid it happening again in the future.

In addition, I found the rate we paid to be more than reasonable. I was mentally prepared for a much higher rate and was very relieved when he told us what the actual price would be. Based on the service we received today we will likely be calling again in a few months when it is time to replace our garbage disposal.

We are still fairly new to the Richmond area and did not yet have a go-to plumbing company. We do now.

I called Mr Rooter at about noon today because my water heater is not working properly and they had someone out by 2:30 pm. Sean did a great job figuring out what was wrong with it. Arrived on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable.
I didn't end up getting him to repair it, but the diagnostic visit was absolutely free (no hidden fees) and extremely helpful.
I would definitely call Mr Rooter again. Thanks!
