Mr rooter is the sorriest excuse for a drain and sewer company in Reno, American Water Resources contacted them to unplug a sewer line at my mom's house. we made the original call on Thursday night and did not get a response until Monday, tech showed up at 4pm , walked thru the house and said he would have to come back on Tuesday. Tech showed up Tuesday and removed the drain cover in the shower, his commercial snake would not go thru the trap in the shower so he said they would probably have to remove the toilet, but needed to see what the insurance co. would cover. never heard back by Wednesday afternoon. i placed a call to American Water Resources and they contacted Mr Rooter who finally called back and a gentleman named J T informed me that he was trying to get a plumber out to the house on Wednesday or Thursday. Never heard from a plumber either day, so now we have been unable to use water in her house for over one week, we called Easy Rooter Thursday night and they had a tech there at 8am Friday morning. took less than half hour to remedy the problem!!
Now the really bad part is the over the next two weeks we have not heard from Mr Rooter to check in or to even follow up on a service call.
If you are in need of sewer repair i can not and would not recommend this company

Terrible service. Was dispatched by our plumbing insurance company on Friday, didn't show up till Monday for a sewer issue. Service tech showed up Mon, left said he would be back and didn't come back. Had to call insurance and Mr Rooter multiple times, nothing got fixed. We called Easy Rooter and they had it fixed in 25 minutes. Mr. Rooter service sucks, their staff apparently do not know what they are doing. Don't waste your time or money on them.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

They overcharge the hell and take full advantage of you. I had them replace a shower mix valve in which the part is $20 down at ACE, $545 dollars later I'm wondering what in the actual hell is wrong with the MFs!!!

Take 30 minutes and watch a YouTube tutorial instead of getting ripped off by them.

I am submitting a complaint with the BBB for price gauging.

Called and made an appointment, had to wait 5 days until appointment. Time frame given was from 3pm - 5pm..... dude never showed. I called but got nowhere. The next day the dude calls and says ""sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday"" (like i was waiting for a call) I was thinking, we had an appointment. He says ""I can be there in 2 hours"", this was at 4pm. As I sit here at 7:22 he is still not here and has not called. What an absolute joke of a business. Do your self a favor and call someone else for your plumbing needs. They don't take their customers seriously and don't care about doing a good job. Never again.

A home repair program in which I had signed up for had set up an appointment for Mr. Rooter to come out and access a leak that I had in the shower and sink. The response was within the two days and the plumber that came out was helpful. I was told it was the shower fixture and also a sink that had been leaking and this may not be covered but that the work order would be submitted, and I would be informed to make a decision. The problem began when it took one week and a half to hear back, to the point where I called the repair company asking for follow up. It took three days for the call between the repair company to get an answer from the plumber and basically the only thing that was communicated was the same information from one week prior. So basically, I could have went about and had my leak already addressed but instead I was waiting on a response when they only repeated the same information. Very frustrating when the lack of response was not there.

They fixed my aunt and uncles two toilet flaps but charged them 500 dollars!! Talk about highway robbery! No other plumbing issues. No toilet replacement nothing! Just two flaps! They are in their mid 80's and I feel they took total advantage of them. That's elder abuse if I ever saw it. So watch out. They target older people.

I'd give them 10 stars, if able. I discovered RAW sewage in my front yard this morning & called their offices. Linda answered my desperate call. She was kind, compassionate and responsive. By 1:30pm, Chad and Jared were here and saved my weekend!!!

There's more to be done and some may even fall on the City of Reno. Chad was so kind in his explanation and he didn't condescend to me at all.

Such quick and great service! They fixed my clogged drain.

I called around to 5 or 6 places because my kitchen sink was clogged. It became clogged because someone was dumb enough to rinse tile grout down the sink. ( we aren't going to mention names) Mr Rooter have me a reasonable estimate over the phone and they were able to dispatch a worker within the hour. Joshua arrived and was able to run a snake 2 times to clear my drain. He tested it several times to ensure proper function and Eben checked the front clean out pipe outside. He was up front and told me the price before he started. It was within mid range of the phone quote. He was curteous and professional and now my litchen sink drain works like a charm. It only cost $245 and I was happy to pay it.
Lesson learned....don't rinse grout down kitchen sink, and if somehow your sink gets clogged call Mr. ROOTER

Chad and his team at Mr. Rooter plumbing were amazing. We just purchased our first house, and as soon as we moved in, sewage started leaking under the house. Chad was very frank from the beginning about all of the plumbing issues we had, and did a great job advising the best solutions, while keeping cost in mind. They documented everything and kept us in the loop the entire time. They worked extremely fast and did the best they could to get us back up and running as quickly as possible. We still have more plumbing issues to take care of with the main sewer line, but we started replacing the plumbing under the house first. As soon as we start the main line work, I will definitely be calling Mr. Rooter.
