DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY. Our kitchen sink was running slowly and we were expecting house guests so we thought we'd get ahead of any potential problem and have the lines snaked. The technician came on Monday and snaked the lines from the kitchen and one bathroom and said they really needed to be hydro-jetted, that 50 years of gunk and grease had been built up....and that will be $1400. We said we'd think about it.
About an hour later I tried to use the kitchen sink and the water wouldn't drain at all. Called the company back and they said they couldn't send anyone until the next day. Same tech came out, tried to snake it again, offered the hydro-jetting again but with a senior discount to $1100. We said no thanks.
We called another plumbing company who did hydro-jetting (@$199 per line!!). They came out the next day and said that if we had hydro-jetted the line the kitchen would have been flooded. Oh, and by the way, we didn't need hydrojetting. They snaked the lines from the roof and cleared the clog...for $150.
I have tried contacting Mr. Rooter since I had paid them for work that they didn't do but no one will call me back.

We were helped by Ozzy. He was clean, courteous and professional. We had a major soft stoppage and he needed to use two different snakes to get it out. He advised us that we could use a pipe cleaning with the jetter and explained everything. My father-in-law happens to own a plumbing franchise in Northern California, so I was well aware that we needed it. He gave us the quote, and it came with a three year guarantee. It took Ozzy most of the day due to the horrible condition of the pipe, but we only paid the original amount.

That is the best thing about Mr.Rooter. Set prices. Thanks again Ozzy! You are awesome!

Pricey. They left a mess. A leak occurred due to the work performed. Tech returned saying the leak would cost me when in fact they caused it. Every time tech needed a quote he had to talk to supervisor...it reminded me of going to a car salesman. Never again, It was a ripoff .!!!!!

The two guys that came out were very nice and helpful. I was very happy with the plumber. The reason I gave them 3 stars was because of the mess they left. I wrote the check and said thank you and good bye etc not even thinking there would be wet rags left in the planter. Seriously there were two guys a plumber and a man in training how hard could it have been to pick up the rags. As I said I did like the plumber and he was very easy to work with.

Juan Alberto of Mr. Rooter Plumbing came and cleared my upstairs shower drain. He was punctual, polite, and very professional. Charged just what was estimated, $55 (with a coupon from the newspaper). Totally recommend him for customer satisfaction!

It's Sunday and the shower won't drain and the toilets won't flush. I see an ad for Mr. Rooter in the paper for $55 line cleaning so I call the number. A guy comes out and says it will be $113 to cable the shower drain and the toilet. He ends up only cabling the shower but still charges me $113. The toilets still would not flush ... he said the sewer main line was the problem. He recommended digging up the sewer pipe and installing a ground level clean out and hydro-jetting the line for $2200. After a reluctance on my part to approve the job he offered to install a sewer clean out with a senior discount for about $1300. I told him I needed a second opinion.

I ended up calling another plumbing company (well rated on yelp) who cabled the sewer vent on the roof for $100 and the problem was solved.

Do not go to these guys! Quoted a different price on phone then at home. Did not use any attachment on very small cable and left with the drain more stopped up then before. Seemed to want to sell me a more costlier job. Workman talked constantly and promoted other fixes.

BEWARE!!! We had over $8000 worth of work done that came with a 25 year installation warranty and a 50 year manufacturers warranty. This company is not honoring either warranty. Corporate is not standing behind this warranty either. This local franchise said that they would redo the work at a discounted price and.... warranty the work - WHAT??? They won't honor the original work warranty so why would they honor a new warranty. Sad that we now have to get a lawyer involved to help us with this. (1 star only because no stars wasn't an option)

I'm not sure which office I called, but the service I got from Mr. Rooter was awful! They showed up three hours after they said they would two days in a row. And never did fix the problem. Stay away from this company! Just terrible!

Had a minor plumbing job opening a clogged drain in my condo. First they quoted $120, but brought all excuses and jacked up the price to $400. In the process they broke the restrainer basket and caused a slow leak. We called them again, first they came and said we forgot to tighten something, did it and left but the leak continued. They came a second third time and asked for $125!!!
I do not trust them at all. They jack up prices, break stuff and refuse to fix it! No more business form me!
