Ismael came to the rescue of our kitchen sink today. We were so grateful to have a professional, on time, thorough plumber to tackle the job. What we thought was an easy fix turned out to be a bigger job, but the way we were walked through our options was great. To be fair, their communication once I made the appointment was good, their Plumber arrived on the day and within the window of time which was promised which I appreciate. I find their radio ad's way less annoying then those other Plumbers ad's which is a plus. So I feel that all that is worth 1 Star. Also a day later a Manager reached-out and said he would work on finding a resolution to my complaint, but then he never contacted me again.

However when the Plumber arrived I was told that a $600 part would fix the problem I was having. I authorized the install of the $600 part. Once it was installed we both tested the shower (not at the same time silly) and found that I still didn't have a working shower (scalding hot water, which might be handy if instead of a working shower I wanted a Steam Bath). I was then told by the Plumber that it may cost upwards of $3,500 to fix my shower. No thanks, though it would have been nice to be told that might be a possibility in the beginning and I would have saved us both some time.

In the end I spent $600 (on what I later learned is a $60 part) to still have the exact same problem I had before I called them. I'm not sure how much exactly it costs to fix what it now seems is a faulty shower valve but apparently $643 isn't enough to get both hot and cold water working at the same time.

I called Mr Rooter of Orange County on a Sunday, right before a predicted heavy rain storm.

I had a clogged backyard patio drain line that exits about 90' to the sidewalk. The clogged drain line would probably cause my patio to flood and possibly cause indoor damage.

Ismael K. arrived about 30 minutes later. He was very professional, explained how he would clear the clogged drain line and what it would cost me. He quickly and efficiently unclogged the drain line.

It took Ismael about 30 minutes to complete the job.

I would definitely call Mr Rooter of Orange County for my future plumbing issues!

This is the second time I've used Mr. Rooter to repair a plumbing problem. I arranged the repair appointment through James, who was very helpful. He even called later to confirm. Ismael arrived at the house within the time period given. He immediately began to diagnose the plumbing problem and once he did, provided me with a fair and reasonable estimate. Ismael and his associate fixed the problem and cleaned up the work area. He showed me a video of what he did and answered all of my questions. Ismael and his assistant are great representatives of the company and do a great job. Five (5) stars and kudos to James, Ishmael, his assistant and Mr. Rooter. I will definitely use Mr. Rooter again.

Right before the holidays we had a plumbing emergency. Toilet and shower were backing up and after we had a couple companies come out and even start the process, we found Shane and Ismael at Mr Rooter and are so thankful they finished the job for us. They were honest and transparent from the beginning, didn't try to take advantage of the situation like others did, and worked very hard to first make the house habitable then replace the sewer line. They worked through one of the rare rainy LA days and we are so grateful for their team's help!

Replaced our water heater... old one popped at 3pm on Friday afternoon. Mr. Rooter had Saturday morning an availability. Dave came out and gave it the ol' once over-- needed a replacement, a water pressure regulator, and a thermal expansion tank. Professional repair and polite service throughout.

Only thing I'd do differently is maybe get a couple quotes before choosing the work, but the house without hot water on a weekend wasn't compatible with a 3 day process. No idea if I over paid or over engineered the solution-- all seemed about market rate in hindsight. Will use them again.

I put in a request thru yelp late one evening about our outside drains (service was long overdue) and james called me at 830 the next morning.
David and Isidro came out the next day to unclog the 4 outside drains at my house and the drains at my dad's house. It was very labor intensive and lots of roots had grown into the pipes apparently. They cleaned up all the muck that was expelled afterwards.
They did a great job and were very friendly and professional.
As for pricing, they did not give me a quote over the phone, but priced it upon their visit (free estimate). I decided it was not worth headache to try to compare pricing further, if they could get it done asap. For me it was worth peace of mind to get it done and not have to worry about my backyard turning into a giant puddle every time it rained.

I highly recommend Ismael & Pedro for your plumbing needs. They are extremely professional in the knowledge of their job & yet down to earth & friendly. They were timely in completing the job, educated in their trade & also did good clean up.
