We were severely overcharged.
Mr. Rooter took advantage of our emergency situation to do so.
The technician, Dave Boswinkle was nice, and was able to arrive within 6 hours.
The technician was not able to provide us a ""Military Discount"" even though the company does authorize it. He said that it was because I had already agreed to the initial cost.
He said,
""Next time, you should mention that you're a Veteran initially.""
But, if you offer Military discount to Veterans, shouldn't you be the one to OFFER it?
Especially being that in the case of an emergency the mind of your customer is likely in the state of distress (which makes them more susceptible to overcharge)

Cold Water Line to Washing Machine Leak
We were charged over $500.00 for a 10 minute water line repair.
The guy was done with the job so quickly, that he felt the need to explain himself
Invoice & Description of Work
( $291.07 Repair 1/2"" exposed copper water line, up to 2' ) Water line was only 8 inches
( $230.88 Install 1/2"" Water Hose Faucet ) Faucet only cost $30 at the most.
Total Cost. $521.95

I normally only leave positive reviews, and chose not to leave a review about Mr. Rooter because I didn't have anything nice to say.
But, since I kept getting review reminders from the company, I left one.

Can't say that I won't go with them again, because in an emergency, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Had a draining issue emergency on a Sunday, when I called I had a Service Tech sent to my house within an hour and a half of letting them know I needed their services. Eric S. was my tech and he couldn't have been more professional, he put my mind at ease by letting me know that it wasn't going to be as bad as I had thought and make sure that the issue would be fixed in a timely manner. This was the second time I used Mr. Rooter due to a great experience the first time and with this visit they earned themselves a customer for life, due alone to the great techs sent to take care your issue. This Mr Rooter came out took our money, looked at out water heater told us the problem, ordered the part , i had to pay for shipping which i did first day he was very friendly. Came back 2 days later stated it was not the right part got mad told us to get someone else and walked out. I will never recommend this company and Whirlpool needs to end their contract with them asap. Very rude and unprofessional wanted more money for doing nothing

I am so glad I chose Mr. Rooter for service. My kitchen faucet wasn't necessarily broke but was clearly in need of service. Eric looked at the problem and was able to through a few minor adjustments repair the faucet without needing to replace it. Eric was pleasant and explained the service he performed. I do have to say Eric clearly appears to enjoy his job and that's reflected on the level of service he provided.

I will look to Mr. Rooter for future repairs and recommend them to my Friends and Family.

Called Mr. Rooter for help with clogged sewer line. Eric the plumber and his assistant came out to look at the problem and both were very prompt and courteous upon coming to my home. Eric was quick to figure out that roots were the cause and showed me via the camera where the roots were causing the issue. Eric was able to open up the line to remove the clog. Also he found a clean out (that I had no idea I had!). Will definitely follow-up on in the spring to clean out clog more as suggested by Eric. Exceptional service, great rates and overall pleasure. A pleasure to deal with and would definitely call upon him and Mr. Rooter for my future plumbing issues! A+++++

They did not call prior to scheduled appointment to let me know when the technician was coming. The technician arrived before the scheduled time window. The technician did not disconnect the plumbing. Instead, he got back in his truck, left, and never returned.

I had to wait till the end of my scheduled window for them to tell me over the phone that they couldn't help. The person that took my call the previous day and scheduled my appointment said somebody would come by my place to personally assess the problem, which never happened.

When I asked if he knew of other avenues I could pursue the so-called ""plumber"" said no and he didn't know. So I have to suffer till the end of time I guess. No possible way at all to fix or replace a faucet.

Lazy, Unprofessional and unhelpful. What a waste of a Saturday morning. They should've told me they couldn't do a faucet replacement from the start so I could've kept calling and found a competent plumber/handy person.

Also when I scheduled my appointment they had a hard time finding my residence that's been established for nearly 20 years and off of a major intersection. Don't waste your time with these nincompoops.

I would give zero stars if that were an option.

Excellent company. Steve was the best! He spent about 5 hours at my house fixing 2 cracked pipes. Steve also helped me figure out what was wrong with my well and assisted in trying to find a well repair company.

The company is very professional and efficient. I used them for my home in Chicago as well and also had a great experience with them too. We signed up for the 3 year membership and so happy we did that. We were considered a priority customer. Highly recommend Mr. Rooter where ever you are!
