They would not give me a price over the phone to install a kitchen faucet and hook up the sink drains. Two tech showed up to the house and seen the out of state license plates and immediately said do you know how expensive stuff is in Colorado? I listened to their sales pitch and they quoted me $3000. I got a chuckle out of that and said no thank you. I called another licensed and insured company. It was $385 for labor, $110 for parts, and I tipped $200.

I believe Mr. Rooter of Colorado is not an honest and reputable business. They came to my house in Denver and told me that my sewer line was broken and leaking and had to be repaired. They needed to tear down my fence and dig up my garden and sidewalk. It would have also destroyed my irrigation system. They were going to charge me over $8000 to do the work and that didn't include replacing the fence the garden the sidewalk or anything. That would have cost another $8000 at least. We decided get a second opinion and I'm glad I did. Colorado sewer service came out and checked out everything and the sewer line was fine. Nothing wrong with it. I do not recommend Mr. Rooter at all.

Mr. Rooter is a scam. I'd give them negative 10 stars if that was a choice. They charge a low fee to root out a sewer line then try and convince you to line or replace the sewer line and pitch a ""special"" price just for you if you pay that same day. We didn't fall for the scam but did want the scope video they completed. They promised they would send it which they didn't so we had to threaten them to get the video. We asked for a receipt as well and we received a blank one (no date, no amount, no signature) and they didn't respond when we pressed them for the completed receipt. Stay away from these scammers!!!

Zero stars. That is being generous. I own a property management company and have worked with every drain cleaning business in our area. This is the worst of the 10 different companies we work with. I called Mr Rooter on Saturday evening, as the usual companies I work with were booked. When I called, my called was dropped. I tried 3 more times, same result. So I chatted with them through their website. Courteous and professional on the chat, with a promise of a call back in 15 minutes. 1 hour later, no call. Chat again, promise of a call back in 45 minutes. 2 hours later, no call. I chat again, another promise, another no call 3 hours later. Lots of apologies but no service. This company says they offer emergency, after hours service, but that is false advertising. Don't waste your time, which has been a substantial amount wasted. Avoid Mr Rooter of Northern Colorado.

The tech that came to my home on a Sunday was very professional & knowledgeable. Fixed my issue and cleaned up perfectly. Will definitely use them again and recommend to everyone.

I made the mistake of calling this company to snake my sewage line. They found a blockage in the pipe that led to a spot fix and then a full line replacement. I fully feel they took advantage of me being out of town tricked me, and did not have my best interest in mind when working on a solution. The entire project started out with a 30k price tag and took over three weeks to be completed. While I fully feel they earned a low score, it wasn't until I saw the shape of my house when the crew left that really put the cherry on top

I was absolutely shocked at the shape my yard was left in. The pictures below show more detail but some highlights: The fence was put back in the wrong spot and the gate is missing its mark by an entire foot. The hinges are fully broken off and the gate was poorly tied back on to the fence with two small wires (lost all function). A T post was driven in to the ground to give the fence stability since the crew failed to dig the poles in. The fence is broken in multiple places with. Gutters were missing. Trash was left behind in addition to two piles of scrap wood. Patio tile is scratched everywhere and dirt was poorly picked up and cleaned.

The crew put no effort in to cleaning up the repairs to the damage the crew cause will easily be a couple thousand dollars.

Had them have to come out 3 days in a row. one time to try to clear the pipes. He went down 100 feet and figured out that it was sticking but he couldn't get anything to pull out.

Our first guy was very professional. He was clean cut, looked and spoke professionally. He arrived in the time window that was specified. Unlike the other company that we had company out 2 months, he did not clank his equipment down my wood stairs. He was able to gently lower his machines and tools down. He went through the correct access to the pipes unlike the other company who just ripped up our toilet. This guy it was very clear he knew what he was doing. He cleaned up after himself. And he only took around 30 minutes.

Unfortunately for us because of the sticking in the pipe, we had to schedule another appointment for a scope of the pipes. They were able to get us scheduled for the next day.

Employee Michael came out for the scoping. He arrived within the window of time that we were given. He was also friendly and professional and obviously knowledgable about his profession. My husband went down to watch the scoping of our pipes and unfortunately for us our pipes are riddled with roots all through our front yard. Our home is older and has clay pipes verses what is used now. So at every joint/hinge there are lots of roots. They were able to see a thin line where stuff is allowed to go through right now the rest is just a bunch of roots.

We had to schedule a 3rd visit for them to come and dig up our yard and install the new piping, which includes all the new fancy stuff they put on new houses these days including a spot for them to be able to access the pipes from the outside in the yard and not have to come into the home. The work is covered for 10 years they said and if we have any issues in next 10 years to call them and they will come back out for free.

My husband and I were both highly impressed with the work and level of professionalism of this company. Would highly recommend if you have plubming needs.

I've never used Mr. Rooter before. I called the phone number for the Northern Colorado office. Initially, I was given the arrival time of 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
I took four hours off of work so that my backed up kitchen sink issue could be resolved.
I waited until a little after 3:00pm before calling back to their office. The arrival time of the technician changed to the hours of 4:00pm to 6:00pm. At this time I was told that I was in their ""overflow"" client list. Shortly thereafter, I received a call and was told that the technician would arrive between 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
During the entire time I could not get a status of how far along my technician was before he could work on my ticket. I did not receive an update from the service technician. There is no way for the staff to contact the technician.
As you can guess by now, 7:00pm came and went and of course, no technician. I ended up canceling the appointment.

My 88 year old mother lives with me. I was not able to make dinner for her at the normal time.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing, it is advisable to be upfront with your clients. Had I known that the service technician would not arrive during the three stated time changes, I could have put in my normal hours at my job. My mother's routine would have not been affected.

Please take better care of your prospective customers.

Under new management, Alfonso, since my last review. Did thousands of dollars of work that found out was unnecessary, didn't do any cleanup so mold grew all over my crawlspace, the area they re-cemented after digging out my driveway for no reason has completely broken away, old driveway is still fine, so they used crappy materials.
Current BBB rating of this business is F.

Expensive and the guy didn't wipe his shoes or wear booties as advertised. Also it would be appreciated if their technicians would wear a mask inside. Was kind of annoyed that he said ""I don't have a mask with me, I hope that's ok?"" Well, I have a plumbing back up in my basement that I've been waiting 24 hours to have them look at. What was I supposed to do send him away? Won't be calling them to do our additional work in the spring. I'm sure I can find someone with better pricing and technicians that are better prepared to enter a customers home.
