Maria Isabel G B.Mr Rooter came the same day and at the exact hour they told me. No waiting. Michael listened to what I had to say very politely and continued with the job very professionally. It was finished in 15 minutes. I am very happy.
Matt R.We had three companies come out. My clients and I all agree Wayne was far more knowledgeable and provided specific solutions without trying to sell us anything we did not need. Thanks for keeping my clients satisfied Wayne !! I would recommend Wayne any day of the week to any of my real estate professional friends and co-workers.
Tim and Wayne did a great job. My water heater busted, I called at 5:30pm and they worked until late, doing a great job putting in a new one on the spot. Would highly recommend.

Dang. Why didn't I read the reviews. We took off work, waited all afternoon, called, they said they were still coming, I called again. No they are not coming. Wasted our time now we are stuck and DO YOU THINK WE CAN TAKE OFF TOMORROW? Wow. I am so mad. why oh why didn't I read the reviews? :(
James L.Agustin came to my home and fixed my issue both professionally and affordably. He was such a pleasant guy and got our water back up and running in not time at all. I would definitely call Mr. Rooter again and I would ask for Agustin, very respectful and I enjoyed chatting with him as he corrected the faulty installation of my PRV.
I am seething right now. My elderly mother called this place due to a kitchen sink clogged up. She called them at 9 am this morning and was told that someone would call her back within an hour. 4 hours later she called them back and was told someone could be out by 4 pm. The tech showed up, cleared the clog and fixed another issue with the bathroom sink. He was there for 2 1/2 hours and charged her almost $1000!! I told my mom I wanted to see the receipt. I have to know exactly what they did to warrant this charge. Well, they do all their business off of iPad type devices and they will email you a receipt. We are still waiting.
TOTAL RIP OFF COMPANY!
Corinna C.Wow, unbelievable. I've had drain cleaning done before for less than $100. When I called yesterday, the lady on the phone said she couldn't give me an approximate quote, but the technician would give me a price before doing the work. I had a valpak coupon, so I though, ""no problem"". This is at a rental property, so I had to take time out of my busy day to drive there and meet the technician. When he quoted me $285 I was shocked! I told him I did not want to proceed. I then called Drain Doctor who gave me an approximate quote on the phone for $85-$90 and I have an appointment later today. What kind of scam is Mr Rooter?
The only reason i'm, giving 2 stars is the plumbers were very nice. That said, we had to spend $4040 to fix a leak in a basement shower. They did have to jackhammer some concrete and replace a pipe. But it should have been 2 days. It was 3 and they kept having to get parts they didn't have. And our shower is now smaller. They said we could go bigger but they'd have to move a wall, well I'm glad we didn't because they said they don't do the drywall mudding and stuff so I've been trying to tape and mud it and I'm not sure how, but doing my best. If they had moved the wall I shudder to think how long it would have taken and what state it'd be in! For $4040 for just the shower you'd think it'd be beautiful and ready to use. Not the case! Seriously, I feel like for that price we'd have a new bathroom! At least a finished shower.
Amaia S.So I just had a tech from Mr. Rooter leave my house. I was in a panic because my husband and I just bought this house and after 7 weeks of living here our toilet clogged and the main sewer line was backed up. Turns out there were roots growing through the clay pipes in the front of the house. The tech showed up an hour and a half late so I was already peeved. He uses a camera to go down the main line and shows me some roots that are clogging the transition from cast iron to clay pipes. I had a scope done before we bought the house but wasn't able to be present to watch. I had a video of the scope though and the other tech said it wasn't terrible. Just needed a scrub, not gutted. The tech from Mr. Rooter said I needed to replace the whole mainline for about 10k. I said no way and he gave me another option; the hyrdoscrub. That would cost me 1800 bucks I said no again and he said he can talk to his boss and bring it down to 1200 bucks. I felt like he was lying and sent him on his way. The process of the snake cost me 349 but I bought their stupid chemical to ""stunt the growth of the roots for 50 bucks. I shouldn't have panicked and gone with another company but the clog was bad and it was flooding my laundry room. I will never call them again. All the reviews sound very similar. Very upset that I spent 400 bucks on a late con artist.
Another vote for overpriced work. Had a water spring a leak and had to get it fixed then and there. These guys were my only option sadly. To make matters worse we just pulled out the new water heater to repair some wall damage to find the floor had totally given out. Their tech did not make any mention of this. I'm just lucky it hadn't fallen all the way through.
