No water. Copper pipe snapped off ne'er the house! Very responsive- came out in a couple hours . All was finished before noon the next day and a one year warranty.

So, this is a review you pray you never need to write.
You are there innocently doing your business when the commode decides that water no longer goes swirly, whirly down the drain.
What do you do?
Who do you call?
Ghostbuster?
Hell no, you'll call Mr. Rooter.
They had someone at my home the same day, on my schedule.
They were quick, efficient, priced fairly, hell even friendly.
And when they left my house the commodes were flushing their waste to whatever foul smelling nether region this waste goes to.
Take it from me, if you need them, you need them.
And if you need them, call them..

Toilet and tub not draining. Robert ""Wren"" came out and spent extra time discussing and explaining the issue. Very good Service

Best worker I have seen in a long time... professional, efficient, great attitude and a smile no matter what. Solving problems in a timely manner is their business for sure. Highly recommend this company in any given situation.

On their Yelp page it says they offer gas line services but when I called they do not do anything for gas

I scheduled online Mr Rooter at the end of November to assist with a slow draining sink. They responded and came out the next day. They were upfront with the options and charges. We chose the total fix, not the bandaid, which was almost $1300. They replaced all the pvc piping under our kitchen sink and cut a hole in our Sheetrock to move the drain down to not work again gravity. Now two months later, the piping is leaking at a joint under our sink and I absolutely cannot get them to call me back to come fix their problem. I have called at least a dozen times in the last week. When I call, I get an overseas call center. They promise to list as urgent and someone will call immediately. Sometimes they send an email that has a ""book now"" hyper link but this only is a phone number to call again. I'm not sure if I am not blocked because the phone line no longer works when I call it. It just leads me to a phone system requested the zip code of service. When I enter it, the system starts all over again. I have called two national numbers as well as a local number but always get the same response. I'm livid.

Garbage disposals are temperamental beasts, and twice now mine has stopped working. Each time I've called A Best Plumbing (Mr. Rooter of New Orleans) and they have exceeded all expectations, fixing my issue quickly and inexpensively!
The first time Jason came out and found our disposal jammed, and was able to fix it right up, rather than replace it. The second time I called because it was making a strange humming noise, then quit. Irene diagnosed the simple problem, and fixed it right over the phone, free of charge, rather than send out a repairman for a costly service call!
This is a quality company, with great people, and I will be using them for all my plumbing needs in the future, as well as recommending them to all my friends!

Yesterday, Kirk came out to fix what I thought would be a massive and expensive problem. I'd reached out to 8 other plumbing companies who all told me that they would be able to get to me 5 days later at earliest and to be patient in order to save money or call ""one of the Rooter services who may come faster but will be incredibly expensive since they are a 'chain'"". Meanwhile, sewage was coming up through every drain imaginable, and during a pandemic where you're stuck in the house, you can only guess my anxiety. I took my chances and called, and from the start, everyone was incredibly professional, from the scheduler to Kirk (who was amazingly kind) when he came to assess the damage. He worked fast and spoke empathetically in addition to giving me some really useful recommendations to prevent this in the future. I dreaded the bill, but I knew it was coming. Turns out, my total charge was wayyyyy less than what some of the other guys quoted. I'm really grateful for Mr. Rooter's services, and will be a repeat costumer.

Technician arrived on time checked the tub and said the line is busted and he wasn't experienced enough to fix the problem. Technician also advised that the snake could only go a few inches before it hits something hard, preventing him from snaking the drain. He then charged the minimum 65 dollars for the call out, and another 225 dollars for the 3 inches he snaked out.
So 290 dollars for a job that he fixed nothing on, and he advised me to call their office to have a more experienced plumber to actually fix the issue. I'd also need to pay the initial call out fee again. So I paid almost 300 dollars to get nothing fixed and I'm in the exact same place I was before he arrived except I'm now 300 dollars poorer.
Do not use this company ever, for any reason, unless you have 290 dollars you want to throw away to get nothing fixed. Remember it's your fault if they send a technician who doesn't have the experience to fix your problem so you may have to pay a second time too.

Dan was great-- showed up on time and was friendly and professional. Will definitely call them again!
