I have worked with Mr. Rooter for over 20 years. From big job to small job they have always been on time, at a very fair price, and deliver quality work. Augustin worked with me today on major project that needed to get done on short notice. He walked me through everything that needed to get done, went above and beyond for me on a couple of things that came up and I wanted to get done, and he was just wonderful to work with. Five stars might not be quite enough.

Terrible experience! definitely not a 24 hour service. They never came to assist us even thought we were told they were on their way 3 times. The next day, once again, the person coming in the morning never showed up. If you have an emergency, don't call them. They charge an extra fee if they even show.

I called this company and they don't service my area.
They started pointing me their San Jose office. Called San Jose office they said called Monterey. Called Monterey office, they said call Santa Cruz. Called Santa Cruz office, they said Call Monterey. What a POS company, they are very disorganized.

Not happy. I was charged $288 for a standard drain clean out. The only reason I paid this much is that I was told that the work was guaranteed and that they'd come out free of charge for the next six months if the problem persisted. Three weeks later the drain is slowing down, I call and they come. They poke around and find a lot of problems with our plumbing. Why didn't they tell me the first time? Told them I was only interested in the free guarantee for my $288. If I decide to spend more, I'll go to another company. Then they tried to charge me $288 a second time saying it was a different drain. True, they did snake a different drain this time, but it was the whole house backing up just like the first time. Same problem so no charge. They agreed but only to say the guarantee would no longer apply to me. Don't call again they said. No problem. I won't.

I discovered my sewer line backed up and called Mr Rooter. The service man was here within two hours, fixed the problem and was gone in one hour. It was an effective, efficient response in my book.

Five stars for a great team of guys that took care of business. I appreciated their explanations (and my education) about what they were doing. I had a good feeling about this business when I received a call from Linda prior to the team's arrival that they were on their way.

Pete and Saul--real talent who didn't give up until things were completed--thorough with a focus on quality and great customer service. The team left my home in the same condition as when they arrived--the main difference being that my plumbing was taken care of!

Not sure about mr rooter came did home inspection and the work totaled 2000 so I called another plumber and to fix the problems me rooter stated would cost 2000 dollars the other plumber charged 370 dollars what is the deal on a 1300 dollars difference???

Pricing was very fair. Work was professionally, and quickly done, with much respect to me!

My house was built in 1928, with a sewer line, almost that old! I have owned my home over 40 years, and have constantly had problems with roots in my sewer. I went out last Friday and found standing sewer water on my patio. I called 4 local plumbers, with no response. I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing, and Kevin came out from SALINAS to help with my line. He worked until 9:15 PM, with no additional charge for coming out and offering after hours care! The next morning, Kevin brought out Patrick, who scoped my line. My old sewer line had started to collapse. After Patrick, very thoroughly explained how a new sewer line would be run, and what would happen if I did not put a new line in soon, I scheduled Mr. Rooter to put a new line in for me, though. I was very nervous undertaking such a large endeavor.

I was absolutely blown away by the professionalism and speed that my new sewer line went in with. There was a set-back, and Mr. Rooter stuck with the original bid.
I was not treated like a client........but more like a friend. Chuck did many things to accomodate my needs in the 2 1/2 days that they were here. My hand pieced patio had to be pulled up. Not only was it put back, along with sanded grout between the tumbled stones, but it looked BETTER than it did before they pulled it.
