Mr Rooter of Monterey hand down the plumber I dealt with in a long time I was quoted a high estimate by another company, Mr Rooter was way less and the response time was within a hour compared to the other 6 hour time frame . I called Mr Rooter for a slow flushing toilet.
He told me we needed a complete new drain line costing between $8000 to $10,000.

Call another plumber, snaked the line and found the problem. Wipes.
Drain fixed in less than 2hours.

Wow! This is the second time I've used this company and again I couldn't be more happy. The technician Agustin showed up on time. The office called ahead to let me know he was on the way and also emailed me his picture so I knew who to expect at my front door.
Agustin fixed the problem quickly. He's cleaned up around the drain and checked with me before he left to see if everything was working properly.

Late in the morning, our water heater appeared to be leaking. We called the company that installed it, but they couldn't send any one until Tuesday, since this was Labor Day Weekend. The leak stopped, but then there was no hot water, and we couldn't get it to light. We called Mr. Rooter, and they dispatched Augie He called right away, and explained that he would come TONIGHT to check it out after his current call was finished. He called to say he was on his way. Introduced himself, gave me his card, and got to work. In less than 5 minutes he had the pilot light going, and explained a few things. He said that there was no charge for the call, since he was able to fix it so quickly. What a wonderful surprise. If the problem continues, we will definitely call on Augie and Mr Rooter to replace it.

called and requested an instant hot water dispenser install (under sink). The tech that arrived was very courteous and prompt, but did not seem very knowledgeable once the job started. He left twice ( both times over an hour ) and returned to have more difficulties. I had to ask him to leave at 6PM because he had still not completed the job. ( he started at 10:30 am ) When I came home from work at 10pm, I found a leak under the sink, so I shut off the water and called Mr. Rooter. They said they'd be back in the morning. They came back after 3pm, not in the morning, due to my repeated calls. When the tech came, he said he didn't have the parts to fix, and that I'd have to wait over the weekend to have the repair done. On Monday, the tech arrived in the afternoon and repaired the leak. I checked while he was here and it looked ok. An hour after he left, it started to leak again !!! I called Culligan Water and they came out the next morning and fixed the problem quickly and properly. Let me summarize : Fri,8/10 Rick attempted to install and did not finish then left the leak. Sat 8/11, Ricardo came and did not have parts. Mon 8/13 Kevin came and could not fix. Tue 8/14 Kevin came and claimed to have fixed. and hour later, it started to leak again. I paid $300 and still not satisfied. MR Rooter, in my opinion, did not appear to have the customers best interest in mind. After 5 days of not having water available under the sink, you'd think MR Rooter would have gone the extra mile to take care of this issue right away. Instead, they made me wait until after they took care of other service calls (during the 5 day window) knowing we were inconvenienced .
I will NEVER again call MR Rooter for any of my plumbing needs, nor will any of my friends, family or any of my associates.
I could not be any more DISSATISFIED !!!

I had a great experience from the minute I called and spoke with Isabel.
She was friendly, courteous and took the time to listen to my plumbing issue. She immediately set up a two hour window for the necessary service needed and called me when the technician was on his way. She then followed up emailing me a picture of Ricardo the technician so I wouldn't have any concerns about a stranger coming to the door. He arrived on time with his boss Patrick and cleaned out the main drain. They stayed another half hour after the job was completed to make sure everything was working properly. I would recommend their services to anyone that needed an honest, reliable plumbing company that got the job done quickly and efficiently. Thank you.

So after having the worst service and two hour window from Roto rooter,they decided they were going to show up 6 hours late,I told their tech that I wanted to talk to a supervisor and instead of doing that he walked out and left.
we decided to call mr rooter.they have a plumber by the name of Mr Issac Iniguez,after he was dispatched the call he kept me updated on how far away he was and how soon he would be at my house.this guy was awesome,very friendly,knowledgeable and respectful.he took care of our plumbing issues right away and went above and beyond in making sure there won't be any future issues.i very highly recommend not only this company but also this technician Issac Iniguez

We won't have them in our house again. We can't get any cooperation after their so-called service to us. Whoever answers their phone promises everything but delivers nothing. Not a good experience.
