Excellent service with professional Tech Wade. Prompt arrival and he was very clean, courteous, and explained the job in detail. I would highly recommend Mr Rooter for your plumbing needs !! SN in Bonaire, GA

Yelp seems to want to remove my review for some reason so here it is again: Original Review I had a tenant flush paper towels down a toilet and it caused the main sewer line to clog. I hired a local plumber first and he quoted me about $150 to get the job done. Unfortunately, his machine broke before he could start the job and had to cancel. He charged me nothing (as he should have). Then I called Mr. Rooter. At first the quoted me around $200 for the same job. I figured it was a bit more expensive, but they were already there and I needed it done. After about 30 minutes, they called me and told me they ran into an issue and needed to hydro-scrub the pipe. They told me this would cost $620. I was pissed but felt like I had no choice. Several hours later they called me back and this time said that I need to replace my piping in my house and it would cost $2500. This house is 10 years old. PVC piping last close to 100 years. There are no large trees anywhere close to any of the pipes so roots aren't an issue. I told them forget it. They said that they cleared the pipe but I still need to replace my pipes (yea sure). After all this went down. I decided to do more research on them and found out that the plumbers work on commission and will try to up-sell you stuff you don't need. Almost every review is just like mine, at first they quote you something low, if you accept then they try to make something up and get more out of you. This repeats until you give in. They are basically the Jiffy Lube of plumbing. Also, the first three 5 star reviews on Google Reviews sound extremely fake. They all start and end the same way, saying """"Thanks [insert plumbers name] from Mr. Rooter of Middle GA. You are the best!"""". My recommendation is to stay away from these guys and try somebody local first. They are crooks.

Ok, first off, their service techs are good, but my problem isn't there. These guys charge a fortune for the most basic services. They quoted me over $800 just for a septic tank pump. I found several local services that did it for far less. I ended up having it done by a local group for $450, and they did everything. I'm not saying Mr Rooter is a bad service, just overpriced for their services. Do yourself a favor and support your local groups.

This company is great! We had a leak in the wall of our kids bathroom. They showed up on time, a little early actually, found the leak which was 3 not just 1. Replaced the fittings and replaced the shower fixtures, which were horrible due to the hard water we have. They also put in panel for easy access to the fittings in case this should happen in the future. They are very precise, polite, and hard working young men that have been out both times I've used them. I will continue to use this company in the future for any plumbing needs!!!

In 2014, Mr. Rooter installed a 40-gallon natural gas water heater in my elderly parent's home for $1200. Their technician did NOT install a shut-off valve, which is required on the cold water supply pipe to the water heater. Since my 93-year-old father is NOT a plumber, he never noticed this. Nine years later the unit starts to leak. It is not repairable and the only way to stop this leak is to cut off the water from the street, leaving the occupants of the home without water until the problem is fixed. Mr. Rooter came out the next day and offered to replace the old unit (with no acknowledgment of the previous tech's error, other than an explanation that the company is now under new management) for $1900 (or $6000, if we want to go with a Tankless unit). Our relationship with this company, that we have given thousands of dollars for various other plumbing jobs around the home is now over, and I certainly would NOT recommend them.

Arrived on time . Very polite with mask on . Installed new water heater. I would recommend them. This w as my second time using the company. I used the company in another state, same good service.

they damaged some of my pipes and the price they quoted me to fix it was outrageous. I called another plumbing company to fix what they damaged & other plumber was a lot cheaper. What they damaged didnt even have anything to do with what I called them out for.

I had a sink leakage and an old dishwasher that needed to be removed. They fought very hard with the dishwater, it was a very old and almost glued to the floor. It took a long time for them to even make it budge, but they did it, and went beyond the normal expectations to do so. I give a shout out to Blake and Travis for helping me.

A few weeks ago in the evening, we had a plumbing issue and called Mr. Rooter as they were the only company that evening/24 hour service calls. They came at 11pm and diagnosed the issue as a cracked sewer line due to tree roots (which we could verify with their camera they put in the sewer line). They quoted us $2000 to fix it the next day and were VERY pushy to allow us to start the work at 8am the next morning. They also told us that as the went under the crawl space in our house, that the house had settled so now all the plumbing was going to back up as it tried to go against gravity and that the whole underside of the house needed replumbed... to the tune of $4,000. After they pressed and pressed to get authorization to start the $2K of work the next morning at 8am (this was at midnight!), we told them we wanted to think about it and they finally left. The next morning, we called a local plumber, recommended by a contractor that we know well. He came out and told us that the sewer line was cracked and broken, but less than half of what Mr. Rooter told us needed to be replaced acutally did. He also went under the house and said there was not one thing wrong with the plumbing under there. He repaired the sewer line for less than $800 and said that the $4000 that they were trying to get us to replace was completely bogus. I feel that Mr. Rooter totally tried to take advantage of us, because it was midnight, we had no working plumbing at the time and not knowing anything much about plumbing, we didn't know any better. I can understand that every company prices things differently - for the sewer line to be almost 2.5x more is one thing, but to recommend $4K in repairs that were completely unnecessary is unethical. We will never call this company again and hope that everyone else is aware what they are getting into if they do!
