I can not say enough positive things about Jason and Mr Rooter Plumbing.

I was nervous due to some mixed reviews on Yelp but Wow! Holy Cow! Jason was incredible and went above and beyond to make sure the horrendous roots in the septic line and tank AND exit pipe were cleaned out. Using brute force and hydro jet, the worst roots in his history of septic and plumbing have been vanquished.

I highly recommend asking for Jason by name and am confident you will be leaving a similar review for Jason and Mr Rooter next.

I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS!!!! I have NEVER had such a poor experience with a company before. The plumber that came to my house fabricated every detail of the job he 'completed' from start to finish. I had a sewage issue that caused flooding of my basement and sewage back-up into my toilet. After the plumber left (which is a SCAM as a quick google search reveals - for a cool $600) there was no water in my toilet and the basement was still flooded. He initially told me to 'fix' the issue I would need to have them come back out for a 'hydroscrub' (for the low cost of $1050) and he also recommended a 'dig estimate'. At the direction of the wonderful company that did my sewage clean-up I called a different plumber. The second plumber was able to come to my house, assure me I did not need a hydroscrub nor a dig estimate and they ACTUALLY cleared out the roots (which resolved the flooding and the lack of water in my toilet) for $220. Customer service was TERRIBLE for Mr. Rooter as they kept defending their plumber even though he obviously did NOT solve the problem (and even noted that in his invoice that the problem was not solved), Mr. Rooter NEVER followed up with me to tell me the job was incomplete and what next steps would be (even when I called them they were unable to tell me what the plumber had did - who doesn't know what their own plumber does in people's houses?!?!?) and defended his lie that he was in my house for 1.5hrs. Their only solution was that I should have called them and told them the roots weren't cleared out - THEY DID NOT GROW BACK OVERNIGHT!!!!!! The first plumber DID NOT DO HIS JOB!!!! Since using them I have heard horror stories from other clients that Mr. Rooter is just trying to scam you and steal your money. I am first-hand proof that this company is nothing but a SCAM and there are other local plumbers that are happy to do a thorough, REAL job for an absolute fraction of the cost. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY A C+ RATING ON BBB!!!!

I'm working with a home warranty company who couldn't find a provider in my area to replace my water heater. I waited without water for 24 hours to call them back and was then told I could hire someone and get reimbursed. One single phone call and Mr.Rooter was on the job. Within 4 hours the job is done. Great people to work with. This is job #2 they have completed here. Will recommend them without reservation. Thank you

This plumbing company are total rip offs,they will charge you large sums of money,and guarantee their service,but do not like returning for warranty work,had them out twice first time to supposedly hydro clean a clogged drain line,even adding (quote) you have no root problem I CAN TELL!! end of quote,drainage worked fine for a couple months, and then had to call the so called expensive pros back out,only to be told this time my drain was frozen,and it would cost 800$ to unthaw,which again was b.s and another waste of money,because less then a month later started having problems again and luckily found a plumbing service who were 90% cheaper,and informed me throughout their work how and what could be my problems and were!! They snaked my drains and DID FIND ROOTS,THAT THEY WERE ABLE TO CLEAR,FOR A QUARTER OF THE PRICE ROTOROOTER CHARGED ME,for telling me b.s that would only make me have to call them back out,I RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT USE THIS SCAM COMPANY OUT OF MT.PLEASANT!! They are worse then your worse mechanic nightmare!! Learned that it's best to call the smaller businesses that truly care about the people they serve,and not looking to rob customers,because our business keeps them going also.

Water screeched to a teensy-weensy trickle a few weeks ago, after attempting on our own and making some upgrades could not solve so called a plumber, in our rural area this was the only ""plumber"" that replied back. Two days later a tech came out and within a few minutes he had volunteered he did not work on ""aquifer systems like in our area"" and did not want to be here. Went to basement where he did not actually test or look at anything, other than to say the wires on our pump were backward (which was incorrect). Immediately told me it was our well (but Mr. Dennis, i said, we have fantastic volume of water flowing freely from the well..) and we needed to call a ""well guy"". Seven days without water later just before Christmas, i found a fantastic, caring, knowledgeable and incredibly responsive well company - Elmore's of Barryton MI who texted me for 2 hours the day i called and were out the next day. It was a broken check valve by the pump in the basement, which a plumber should've found and cost $224 total (in addition to the $50 fee from Mr. Rooter). In a way i guess i should thank Mr. Rooter for giving away my business, as i now have a great team closeby i can call for a wide variety of issues or referrals to others like them in other areas of expertise. Turns out our very deep artesian well is amazing and is good enough for the whole town. Who knew!

Our well pump stopped working early Monday am. I gave Mr. Rooter a call, because we had been pleased with all of their previous work, and they had their well specialist to our home in less than 5 hours. Thanks for taking care of us once again.

I do not recommend going with this plumbing company for many reasons. I recently used this plumbing company to fix a few issues at a home I manage. It costed about $750 to fixed. I got a toilet and shower fixed but unfortunately the plumber that came to the house overlooked a bigger problem. The toilet they had ""fixed"" was leaking worse than before. Thats when I called to tell them that the toilet wasn't fixed, they sent the same plumber to the house and said the toilet was old it had stress cracks and tank was cracked and I need to replace the whole toilet which would cost another $750. I asked why and how was this overlooked, When the plumbers they provide are suppose to be professional. I was not mad happy at this point. Why would you fix an old toilet? How could you not see a bigger problem? So I was told that the supervisor manager was going to call me to resolve the issue at hand but never received a call. If you want to get scammed and lose money then sure go to this company but if you want to be able to have things fixed correctly the first find another local plumber because these guys are so full of crap and will take your money without a second glance. They do not care! Unprofessional! Overcharge!

Happy with professional and knowledgeable estimate provided for new hot water heater. Also had a technician come earlier in the week and unclog a couple of out drains. Very happy with services provided. Will definitely use Mr Rooter if needed in the future.
