seemed like nice people at the first first appointment fixed a leaking pipe but had to come back because didn't do it to code second appointment didn't couple a water line properly so it came apart soaking my washing machine and and to come back the next day because they will set appointment 24 hours but only have a plumber during bankers hours yes it was a simple fix but it tkes a special tool that i didn't have so i had to wait till the following morning to get this fixed and i think what iritated me even worse than the plumber screwing up is he wouldn't own up to his mistake or apologize but instead told me these things happen and he is right doctors do something similar and are sued same with mechanics and many other professionals but i wouldn't call them professional. as for the whole mr rooter company i can't say but definitely not as advertised no shoe coverings had to continually shut my house door to keep bugs out and not let the hot air in. save yourself the head ache and call a local plumber that takes pride in doing the job right the first time

Called on a Sunday for a leaking pipe they worked around my evening schedule and job was done in a few hours also the 50 dollar charge for coming out goes on your bill if you agree with the quote they give you

We had a sewer back up on a Sunday afternoon. I called and they said they could be there between 4-6. They called back later and said they couldn't make it. No problem I could take the next day off work to be there. They said they would be there between 10 and 12. At 11 they said it would be closer to 1. At one I called them and they said soon. At 1:30 I called and said I needed to leave at 2 for an appointment. They never showed and I had to leave. I made a new appointment with someone else who came when they said they would.

Had our water heater blow out and needed a plumber in the area to come out and assess the cause and remove it for our homeowners insurance claim. Bailed on us twice after the allotted timeframe for having their tech come out. Have no water, and our restoration crew can't fix the damage. Thanks for nothing.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Had a estimate on a simple valvebathtub replacement. Well over 900 dollars. Got a local plumber to do it for 250 dollars. These people will steal from you.

We recently suffered a major catastrophe with the collapse of our main sewer line. Brad, and his team from Mr. Rooter, responded immediately, performed the necessary engineering research on the drain lines and sought city permits. In two days they completely removed and replaced the lines with as little disruption to our yard as possible and they were immaculate about the clean up. While undergoing major plumbing work isn't pleasant, Mr. Rooter handled it professionally. We recommend them to others in Mid-Michigan.

They are clueless and have no respect for anyone's time. I have a vacation place near Mt Pleasant and needed some work done-I live 3 hours away so I set up an appointment 2 weeks in advance and called the day before the appointment to confirm-I was all set-they would be out between 10-12. Drove 3hrs- got to the vacation property at 0830. By 1145 no call or no show. Tried calling the office-the phone just rang-no answer, no vm -NOTHING. No one ever called the property or my cell. Called company on Monday - first I was told I never had an appointment, then when I said I confirmed the appt, I was transferred to the manager. She preceded to tell me they tried to call me with no answer - FUNNY you just told me I didn't have an appt - then I told her I tried calling but the rang -her reply ""really - that's odd"". that's all you have to say, she then wanted to set up another appt and offered no discount, when I asked for my inconvenience she wasn't sure if she could (well who can if you are the manager???)and also said could not guarantee that this wouldn't happen again not showing up. Seriously, this is how you treat a potential customer, how do to treat someone that you actually show up at their home. Don't waste your time-because they will just waste it for you. Would not give any stars but have to give at least one to post a review!!! They are awful!!!!

Charges at least double if not triple what other plumbers charge. During the flood in Mt Pleasant in June 2017 we called Mr Rooter and they replaced a sump pump for over $900. I found out later that the parts they used were about $200 so that means they charged about $700 just for labor! Two guys were there 2 hours. They claim these were ""normal prices"" and not emergency prices since it happened on a Friday during business hours. I wish we would have found someone else but it was a crisis moment with the flood. I will never use Mr Rooter again.

Terrible, I would give zero stars if possible. Mr. Rooter sent a guy to one of my rental houses to unclog a drain. He could not unclog it. I hired Central Plumbing, from Mount Pleasant. Central Plumbing charged $225 and unclogged the drain. Because Mr. Rooter could not unclog the drain, and I never got a bill, I assumed that they were not charging me. Eight months, yes that is correct, eight months later, Mr. Rooter contacted me, to inform me that I owed them $353. I gave them my credit card number. Mr. Rooter sent me an email the next day, which stated, ""...you gave us the wrong zip code for the credit card..."" Clearly something went wrong from an administrative perspective. However, to suggest to a customer that they do not know their own ZIP Code, is insulting. It took this company eight months to send me a bill, for a job that was never completed and they charged 50% more than another reputable company. Go to Central Plumbing. Central Plumbing is locally owned, professional, reasonably priced and they provide great work!

Although the serviceman was friendly, service was poor, lack of professionalism by the manager on the telephone, terrible scheduling and communication. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Two weeks later and my septic was left dug up, I was hung up on for telling them their scheduling was less than par and have hired a reputable local plumber.
