Recommended Customer Reviews
They were supposed to come today between 11 and 3. Around 3:00 they called to say that the owner decided not to send someone at all. For absolutely no reason.
Very professional. The tech deemed the problem related to the cesspool and not the pipes, which was accurate. There was no charge for the visit. I would absolutely call them again.
Should be no stars at all. Wish I read these reviews first. Called them for a draining issue. One 'technician' arrived, spent about an hour only to report he had to call in 'the big truck' to clear the line. Later in the day 2 others arrived, they were here for 2 1/2 hrs; they performed a ""hydro-scrub"". I see in other reviews where someone here complained they were charged $700 for that service-well they charged me over $1300 for the same thing! And, they sent me an estimate for another $6k in needed repairs. I had someone here the next day, in 10 minutes - found a clog, cleared it, and all issues resolved. Granted, there is an issue with one pipe that needs to be addressed, but it will be done at a later date and will not cost $6k to replace. I suspect the first guy was 'the set up guy' and the other 2 were there to get me to agree to the huge estimate, but I did not comply. Beware.
$500 to snake a kitchen sink. Sheer robbery. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I will never use them again.
Nicholas B.I wish I could put less then one star. We had a person come over to clear a clog in our main pipe and he told us to get the pipes hydro pumped for $700 or they can snake it for $500 so we said we said we would do the hydro clean the to the fact that it would be a 2 year warranty. The man who came said he couldn't do it he had to send someone else because he didn't have the machine in his truck. So we agreed to have the person come an hour after. So an hour and a half later nothing so we called the office and they woman said they were done for the night. They didn't even give us a call to let us know they weren't coming. They told us the guy would be there in the morning instead. The next day the man came and snaked the drain but did not do the hydro pump and would not do it. He also told us he was still charging us the $700 for the hydro pump and that we could call the office and tell them to dispute it. They finally called us the next day and said that they did do the hydro pump and no matter what we told them the only took 50$ off. DO NOT USE THEM. ALL THEY DO IS SCAM PEOPLE AND STEAL MONEY. I wish I read these reviews before we had them come. Such a waste of money.
Robert B.This so called plumbing operation is nothing more than extortion. They charged me $800 to clean out 6 feet of a commercial sink drain in the midst of business day. The blockage reoccurred within a week. They're nothing more than a scam!!
Ronkonkoma NY. Extremely overpriced. They advised it would be $65.00 just to come to the house and then diagnose the problem. I had a clogged cesspool line which was about 20 feet away from the cleanout plug. As soon as they arrived, they made me sign an electronic signature stating I understood the $65.00 charge just for coming. When I explained the problem, they advised it would be $450.00 without even looking at the problem. Apparenlty one price is charged for clearing any clogged sewer line. Once I agreed to that, they took out their camera, put it into the clean out plug, saw the clog and then placed a metal snake into the line and cleared it. The whole process took perhaps 30 minutes. $450.00. Please check out other options and pricing before using their services. They are extrememly overpriced and there are other services available for a quarter of the price.
Ken was outstanding and very honest. However, I do think the prices are extremely high. I was in a pinch, and didn't have time to get a few quotes for the work. I probably would have went with a company that was a little cheaper. However, Ken was very helpful and I appreciated his honesty.
Very disappointed with Mr. Rooter. I called them to replace a drop-in sink/faucet and P trap in the kitchen. Kitchen sink was removed and new sink was fitted for the countertop prior to the appointment. Apparently it costs 1,200 dollars to accomplish the task. I turned another company away the day before after they gave me a quote of 600, thinking that was high, only to be slammed with this bill. I'm new to the area, and was looking for a plumber for this, and future projects. Looks like I will be looking elsewhere. Very unfortunate.
Technician arrived promptly. I had a small leak coming from the bottom of my bidet. The service man quoted 2 estimates. The first one was to tighten the nut on the water supply line, but he was reluctant to recommend that fix. The 2nd estimate, which he recommended, involved removing the entire bidet in order to access all water connections. The prices quoted were astronomical, and the problem was over- exaggerated. I declined both options because they seemed excessive. I had to pay $70 for the service call with no resolution. I called the office the next day to discuss the repairs. I was told that the $70 I paid would mot be applied to any repair because I didn't have the work done at the time of the service call. After a lengthy discussion, they agreed to refund the $70. I called another plumber the next day who came promptly and replaced both supply lines without removing the bidet. The entire job took 25 minutes at half the cost of Mr Rooter. Beware of overstated problems with inflated prices.
