RIPPED OFF. I called this company regarding stopped toilet. He tells me a ring must be replaced. Then, it got promoted to a stopped pipe., and a new estimate of $3500. This would solve all issues. Okay a few weeks later, work started and completed. and I can't even get a written guarantee of the work. Its being emailed. 1/2 an hr later nothing, and my toilet issues are back. It took a few days to get back on their schedule. Okay we will need another $2k to find a second issue, and now bathtub won't drain. I'm so done, because my money tree is drained, and problem still here

I had multiple pipe freezes and called Mr. Rooter. They guy arrived on time and asked me where the breaks were. I said they're in the walls and where I thought they were. I pointed to the wall behind the dishwasher and he said it would be $260 for him to cut into the sheetrock. It's a 5-minute job to do that, so he stood with his hands in his pockets while I cut open the sheet rock. No hole was seen. I suggested we might turn the water on and see where it came out at and so he went and opened the valve...opened it so far that he had it spraying water every where. He offered to repair it for $1100.
I directed him to where the water was coming out of the wall and then I went and got a saw and opened the wall, revealing the break. He quickly fixed that, it being readily accessible. He charged me $295. He never did find the other leak. I fixed the valve he got leaking for $5--so he never got his $1100 job. He iiterally was of no use to me and charged $295. incompetence, laziness and fraud.

We had an awesome experience with Mr. Rooter this morning. Our basement drain had backed up and overflowed yesterday. After calling Mr. Rooter at 8:30 this morning, they were at our house by 9:15am! The technician augered our line and was able to pull out the tree roots that Bob Hamilton had left behind from when we hired them in March. They even put a camera down the line (Bob Hamilton claimed they didn't have a camera small enough) and found the clog. They were professional, clean, and thorough with their inspection.
They quoted us about $15k less than Bob Hamilton did to replace the full line, too. We will definitely be using them again!
