They wanted to charge me $1200 for a new pressure tank and a guy that used to work for them only charged me $200 and he got me a discount on my tank for $200! Do not use this company!

Our basement backed up with stinky sewage and water. I called several plumbing companies and Mr. Rooter was the only company who answered the phone.
We told the lady our problem and she sent someone out in perfect timing.
We had root issues that caused a clogged in our main line.
As Dylan ran a camera scope down the drain, we could see on his camera all the roots. I never knew roots could grow so badly in a sewer pipe.
Dylan ran a Jetter down our drain to the road and cleared the roots out. He even ran his camera after he Jetted to show up the clean drain.
I want to thank Mr. Rooter, they sent out a plumber who took great care of us.

Our water heater started leaking in several spots. It was about 14 years old so we expected it would need replaced.
Mr. Rooter came out and provided us with good pricing and great service.
Our plumber was very efficient, he explained what we should expect and cleaned up the area nicely once he was finished installing our new water heater. He even hauled the old one away.
Reliable outstanding service.
We will always call Mr. Rooter Irish Hills

Please think twice before calling this company to have work done. We called them because we had water leaking from the upstairs bathroom into our kitchen.
They sent someone out, who in his defense he was very polite and professional but this was actually taken from their invoice ""Customer had a leak from his tub. We cut the ceiling out underneath. Ran water could not find leak. Ceiling was soaked right under waste and overflow. We quoted customer a price to remove old waste and overflow along with the drum trap .Once complete we ran a large amount of water with no leaks. One years part labor warranty"" It specifically says they could NOT find the leak but they still recommended that we get $1800.00 worth of repairs done. We trusted them and proceed with the repair, because we didn't want more damage to the floor boards/walls/ceiling and because every time we took a shower it was actively leaking. They came out the next day did the repairs and we paid them in full. That night we took a shower and we had a literal ""WATER FALL"" in our kitchen. I guess the leak was not fixed. We called immediately the next morning and they sent a different repair guy out. While we waited all day for him to get there my husband went and looked and realized that the cause of the massive leak was from the shower....you have to pull the metal tab on the tub faucet to get the shower to run. Which was NEVER checked. When the repair guy showed up, we showed him what we found and he agreed that was broken and causing the leak. He replaced the bathtub faucet and like magic NO LEAK. I called the office and spoke to Brita(sp?) and explained the situation on a Friday and she said she would get back to me...which she didn't. So I called again on Tuesday morning (after Labor day weekend) and again explained my situation and that I felt that I had paid $1800 for a repair I didn't need but because I trusted their plumber I went ahead with the repair, and the 3 holes they had to cut in my kitchen ceiling and hallway to fix the pipes, and ALL we needed was just a new BATH TUB FAUCET. She said she would discuss with the manager/owner? and call me back later that day.....she didn't. I understand they're busy people so I waited the rest of Tuesday and Wednesday and still didn't hear back so I called again on Thursday morning and spoke to Brita again. Her response was ""we fixed the leak and replaced the bathtub faucet which would have been a $900 repair and we did it for free"". I was a little shocked at her response, I questioned how a bathtub faucet and 30min repair would cost $900.?! I would think that after I paid $1800 and my leak wasn't fixed of course you would fix the problem! EVEN if the faucet cost $200 you're telling me that labor fee for 30mins or even an hour is $700-$800??????? we are ALL in the wrong business. Through out all my phone calls to this business I was very polite and calm and was just trying to talk this out and her final response to me was that there was nothing she could do but if I wanted to keep going she could just send me a bill for $900 ....is that what I wanted??? seriously that's how you talk to people?! I was not asking for a full refund, but the fact that a simple faucet fixed our problem and now we need to have 3 holes fixed in plaster walls/ceilings and we didn't even need the $1800 repair I was hoping they would offer some sort of compensation. Maybe a small partial refund, an apology.....anything???
While they were out here ""fixing"" my leak I had asked for some quotes on something else that we wanted to do down the road, and the price quote they gave me for that was $5000-$7000 which if that is the fair price I can tell you I will be taking my business elsewhere.
I tried to work things out with them calmly and privately but this is what I have to do now.
Thank you for taking advantage of your customers

We had them come out to remove roots from our sewer line, $880 they removed about 70 % of the roots and said they could not get the rest. ""the roots are too BIG"" Then he said we should replace the sewer line. 7 days later we could not flush the toilet. We called back, same thing, ""roots are too Big"" and he said ""we should replace the sewer line. :So we had another company come out. $185 He was great, he removed all the roots, they were not big at all. He ran his camera thru the line to show us our line was in good shape nothing broken , completely clean and no roots. He said it didn't need replacing. We asked Mr. Rooter to give us the $185 that we paid the other company. We didn't feel like we should have had to pay $185 just because Mr. Rooter did a poor job. They sent us an email explaining how the equipment that they used that day was not working properly and that was the reason for not being able to do the job we paid them for. They denied us the $185 and told us they would give us a future credit of $185. So I had to spend more money because of their faulty equipment, and thank goodness we chose to get a second opinion on the line before we spent thousands of dollars replacing a line that is perfectly fine. I have no confidence in them!
When you hire someone to do a service for you, you put a lot of trust in them, they are the professionals. That is what my $880 was paying for, great equipment to do the job properly, the knowledge and skill they have from doing this job for years. And the professionalism that they would treat you fair. Wow I got none of that. I would give them a 0 star but that's not an option.
