No, I have not forgotten to mention there was an offer. But what should I do when the technician stands in front of the door and 'ambushes' me with an inflated offer? Send him away? The poor guy really couldn't help it.
Yes, the work was done. It was no problem, because the drain was already free again. Again: $325 for cleaning a drain that works again is too expensive!

Charging $325 to clean a drain that was unclogged in the interim is outrageous. This happened to me on April 29, 2023 in Montgomery, TX. Also, the scheduled appointment has been rescheduled several times. I will certainly never hire Mr. Rooter to do a job again. I would rather wait days for a decent plumber.

I have American Home Shield(don't recommend them either). Mr. Rooter 4 hour time frame is ridiculous and after waiting 3 hours and 20 mins they called to reschedule. So inconsiderate and now I have to go longer without service. They rescheduled to 2 days later I can really see AHS customers aren't their priority. Bad customer service either way!

We found pipes leaking at the hot water tank. Called Monday morning and a plumber came out that evening and took care of the problem. I used Mr. Rooter when our pipes froze in 2021 and they did a great job then, so I called them again. I happened to get the same plumber assigned to the current problem. He is great, kind courteous, prompt, thorough, and does a fantastic job. You get before and after pictures of what was fixed.

They quoted for something that I wasn't requesting. I simplified needed a leak fixed and they wanted to repipe my entire home. On top of that, it took them days to show up. I waited all this time and my water still wasn't restored. By the way, the plumber came and didn't have the necessary tools.

I'm not satisfied at all.

I have been waiting for more than 4 days to have my bathroom plumbing completed that was promised to be completed in 3 days. The insurance company declined to pay for the plumbing repairs which I am having to pay out of pocket. I have paid half of the $10,000 bill and $100 to the insurance and still no one has called or been to my house in 2 days. This is the worst experience I have had with any insurance and plumbing company in my life. I will call another plumbing company to come out and give me an estimate, how much they will charge to complete the job and notify the news media of the unjustified position I am in. I will be contacting my attorney as well to as with the matter. I am truly livid!

The worst company!! I have a 3 year warranty for their Hydro Scrub and they want to charge me a trip charge to come out. They finally cameo put without a credit card pre-pay.
Stood in my kitchen and ran the water for about 30 minutes and kept saying well it is draining now so it could be down the line. But never made a move to snake the line.
Now the drain is clogged again and I called to get an appt. The texted they would be out between 8AM - 7PM. I phoned and got a sorry we don't have any technicians available. We'll see if we can get to you tomorrow.
They claim they are 24 hour emergency service. Reporting them to BBB.
I have called someone else can't wait on this poor service!!

I have Home Shield & they had this company come out because of a clogged bathroom issue. Although they came out in a timely manner. They gave me an incorrect diagnosis of the problem. What I was told by Mr. Rooter tech is that I needed a new sewer line where they would have to break the yard & the driveway. They informed me that they were unable to unclog my drainage system because it was so broken & clogged to the point they were unable to get the snake through.

They quoted me a price of 1,899. I wasn't convinced that was the issue so I paid outta pocket & called another plumber. He came out shortly after they left..The 2nd plumber unclog the drainage system outside & fix the problem for 290.00. Toilet & drainage system working fine. I'm not sure if I was being taken advantage of or they actually lack knowledge of plumbing. What I do know is that I save 1,500 plus dollars by calling another plumber. To think Mr. Rooter techs actually wanted to tear up my yard & driveway unnecessarily is why I would NEVER recommend them or use them. I made Home Shield aware that I was unhappy with their services in terms of a diagnosis that was quoted to me that would have been very costly to me & coincidentally they knew Home Shield would not cover this nor was this issue cover under my Homeowner insurance. Makes one think if this was all a scam..
