DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. HERE IS WHY:
Back in May of this year, on 05/19/23, we called MR ROOTER OF GREATER HOU with a plumbing issue: the kitchen, bathtub and the shower had standing water. Technician came, worked in the kitchen, then in the master bedroom, collected $640 and left.
A day later the SAME issue was addressed with MR ROOTER OF GREATER HOU, and on 05/22/23 (just 4(!!!!) days later), technicians came and performed HYDRO SCRUB WHOLE HOUSE WITH 1 YEAR WARRANTY for the price of $875 and since 4 days ago we already paid $640, this time (4 days later), they still charged us, however, gave a discount, so we ended up paying (again), $570, totaling $640 + $570 = $1,210.
On 11/16/23, after a request, MR ROOTER OF GREATER HOU's technicians came over again to try to open again the kitchen line, however, they ignored one more time that the kitchen/bathtub and shower are the SAME LINE and THE SAME issue still persists. One more time we have explained to the technicians that it is the same plumbing line. The technicians' run the cable and said that they checked with the management and they have the management's OK to perform the HYDRO SCRUB WHOLE HOUSE, however, this time they will actually hydro scrub all the pipes and not partially like they did on 05/22/23 and presented the partial service as a full house hydro scrub. Next day, we had a planned Thanksgiving trip planned and we agreed that instead of the $555 for unclogging the kitchen, we will pay discounted $950 to this time flush the whole house. On 11/17/23, the very next day, the shower and the bathtub were having a standing water after a quick morning shower. Numerous complaints were made to the MR ROOTER OF GREATER HOU to come and complete the job and upon completion to collect the pay, however, MR ROOTER OF GREATER HOU sent a technician 2ce to collect for the job not performed and failed TWICE to show up for an appointment to HYDRO SCRUB WHOLE HOUSE.

Agree with most of the negative reviews regarding the overpriced estimates and for no reason abusing the lack of plumbing knowledge of normal everyday people. They have a fee which they charge to check the problem and say they will deduct if continuing to use their service , then proceed to give outrageous estimates based on what they feel they can get out of the customer. management is no help and this is a method they use to reel people in and at worse case they steal a $49.95 fee from them knowing most people will not pay their overpriced fees for service. Had a minor fix for what turned out to be a 3 minute $15 repair I ended up doing myself, which they said would take hours and based on their flat fee was $4-500 lol! Poor business ethics. Such a shame.

No, I have not forgotten to mention there was an offer. But what should I do when the technician stands in front of the door and 'ambushes' me with an inflated offer? Send him away? The poor guy really couldn't help it.
Yes, the work was done. It was no problem, because the drain was already free again. Again: $325 for cleaning a drain that works again is too expensive!

Charging $325 to clean a drain that was unclogged in the interim is outrageous. This happened to me on April 29, 2023 in Montgomery, TX. Also, the scheduled appointment has been rescheduled several times. I will certainly never hire Mr. Rooter to do a job again. I would rather wait days for a decent plumber.

I have American Home Shield(don't recommend them either). Mr. Rooter 4 hour time frame is ridiculous and after waiting 3 hours and 20 mins they called to reschedule. So inconsiderate and now I have to go longer without service. They rescheduled to 2 days later I can really see AHS customers aren't their priority. Bad customer service either way!

We found pipes leaking at the hot water tank. Called Monday morning and a plumber came out that evening and took care of the problem. I used Mr. Rooter when our pipes froze in 2021 and they did a great job then, so I called them again. I happened to get the same plumber assigned to the current problem. He is great, kind courteous, prompt, thorough, and does a fantastic job. You get before and after pictures of what was fixed.

They quoted for something that I wasn't requesting. I simplified needed a leak fixed and they wanted to repipe my entire home. On top of that, it took them days to show up. I waited all this time and my water still wasn't restored. By the way, the plumber came and didn't have the necessary tools.

I have been waiting for more than 4 days to have my bathroom plumbing completed that was promised to be completed in 3 days. The insurance company declined to pay for the plumbing repairs which I am having to pay out of pocket. I have paid half of the $10,000 bill and $100 to the insurance and still no one has called or been to my house in 2 days. This is the worst experience I have had with any insurance and plumbing company in my life. I will call another plumbing company to come out and give me an estimate, how much they will charge to complete the job and notify the news media of the unjustified position I am in. I will be contacting my attorney as well to as with the matter. I am truly livid!
