Spoke with a lady on the phone about a quote & she was completely rude. She kept interrupting me and then told me I can call & speak with someone else the next day. Not sure if they were closing so she was trying to rush me off the phone, but completely uncalled for and unprofessional.

I purchased 3 new faucets and asked a plumber sent by Mr. Rooter Plumbing to replace my current bathroom sink faucets with the new ones. My home is only 3 years old so everything is new and in great condition. When the service man arrived he looked at what I had and said they would be no problem at all to do and could be done right then and there. """"But let me call my manager to see how much the standard rate will be."""" He got on the phone outside and came back in and announced that he would happily do the job for $550 per faucet for a total of $1,600. When I explained I just couldn't pay that much he said, """"Oh, let me call my manager and see if he can come down any on that for you."""" After coming back he announced they would """"Help me out and come down to $400 per faucet for a total of $1,200."""" I politely explained that I had expected the total for all 3 faucets to be closer to $100 each for a total of $300-400 for the entire job. He explained that the rate is just standard and they couldn't do any better. He tried to tell me that it would be worth the $1,200 for the time it would save me. Thankfully I know better. I will never recommend them to my friends. I will be sure to tell everyone I know how they tried to overcharge me shamelessly.

This is the second time my husband and I have used this service. We liked Matt so much that he came back and worked on our new disposal that needed to be replaced. He ensured that our pipes throughout the house were working properly as well. Thank you, Matt, for your excellent support and service. Awesome personality too.

I cannot say enough positive things about this company as well as the technician that came to my mothers aid with a plumbing issue that had lingered for 2 weeks before I made the call to Mr. Rooter. Within an hour and a half of the initial website contact she had a phone call and the technician was walking in. Josh, the technician, was polite, professional, and went well above and beyond to help my mother with the plumbing issue. We are beyond grateful for the service and for the kindness of Josh.

Tech arrived on time, was clean, professional and helpful...that's the good news. The bad news...quote came in at 100% higher...that's double...the quote I received from another plumber. Not sure whether our time constraint was a factor but it definitely pays to shop around!

Piedmont replaced the meter and said there was a gas leak which could be anywhere. The communication from the office was spot on. Matt Terpak was the technician they sent out and has done a great job and has spent a lot of time thoroughly checking everything. I would recommend Mr Rooter for any of your plumbing/gas lines needs. Too bad the AC guys can't be as efficient as this company .....

I had a plumbing problem with my kitchen and I called Mr. Rooter's, the technician named Russell Dixon came to my house and checked pipes underneath the basement and suggested that I repiped whole kitchen It will cost 1500. I told him I didn't have that much money I only need to unplug the pipe. He told me it would cost 390 dollars and he didn't have a snake long enough to do the job. I call roto-Rooter's and the only charged me 150. To unplug the drain..

We had an issue with our main water line from house to the street and we called on Sunday and within a few hours Josh Powell came out to scope the job even though we were not a current client they made us a priority. Josh came out the following day and did the work in a reasonable amount of time and because he needed to dig up an area of the front yard he made sure that it looked almost as if there was no digging that had been done. He was very professional and polite. We will definitely be their costumer going forward with any other work we need done. Highly recommended

If I could leave NO STARS I would. Called about slow draining pipes as well as garbage disposal backing up. They sent a text saying they would contact me within 30 min. That was on Thursday and I'm still waiting. Today, Monday, my dishwasher just flooded my kitchen. Could have been avoided if they had responded last week when promised.

I called these guys out because I had a clogged line from the house to the sewer. They initially quoted me $581 to fix it but then came down to $400 when I told him that's all I would pay. I should've stopped there. They flushed the line with high-pressure water, and ran a camera. They then told me that I had roots that needed to be either removed or completely replace the existing line. The quote to remove the roots was $1000 and to fix the line was $2900. Three days later the line was clogged again. This time I called Roto-Rooter and they quoted me $150 to cut the roots out of the line versus Mr. Rooters price of $1000. Not going to use them again, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Feel ripped off.
