Tech arrived on time, was clean, professional and helpful...that's the good news. The bad news...quote came in at 100% higher...that's double...the quote I received from another plumber. Not sure whether our time constraint was a factor but it definitely pays to shop around!

Me. Rooter is always prompt, polite, and knowledgeable. When plumbing issues arise stress is soon to follow but the technicians with Mr. Rooter provide you with a confident assessment and quote and repair the job quickly! Have used them multiple times and will continue to! Josh is the best!

Josh, the plumber came out late one evening after we had water leaking under the kitchen sink. He determined and showed us the cracked spray so he left to get a replacement sprayer then came back to install it. That didn't solve the problem and he then found a leak in the hose. It was too late to get a hose so he returned the next day to replace the sprayer hose. After Josh left, we found there was still a leak under the cabinet. My husband took a look at it and saw that the water regulator was bad also and what was actually needed was to replace the faucet. We bought a faucet the next day and asked Mr. Rooter to come out to install. Because we had already paid $150 for the repairs that didn't solve the problem of the leak, I asked to be credited. I was told that the manager was not in and he needed to decide that. Before Josh came out he called and said he would credit us against the install of a new faucet which he thought was around $330. I thought that was high but I know plumbers are high. We needed the faucet replaced because every time we ran the water we were getting a shower of water under the sink. Josh returned to install the faucet and he seemed to know more about installing than repairing. I started checking the cost of installing a faucet. Lowe's installs for less than $150. I talked with Sam, the manager at Mr. Rooter and told him the story of the faucet and told him that I thought we had been overcharged. He assured me that we were not overcharged that $330 was their book price for installing a faucet. I told him that was about $200 more than other places. He justified his pricing by saying different companies charge different prices. I told him I could understand a $50-$75 difference but $200 was outrageous. Sam also told me that he would not have given me the $150 credit against the installation of the sprayer and hose. I asked him even if that didn't solve the problem? His justification was those parts were bad and they needed to be replaced. I told him that we had gotten a bad diagnosis on the faucet problem. They were nice and courteous, but I would recommend Lowe's or Home Depot professionals to do the work. They stand behind their work and at a better price. BTW, if you put a review of Mr. Rooter on their page, it is never posted. They only want to post the good reviews.

We got a couple of quotes to do some work, and then the tech came out to do the work. We discussed the changes to the scope, which was a large reduction in the scope of work. However, they want to charge the full price even though the larger scope was not completed. We we brought the discrepancy to their attention, the response was a threat of putting a lien. $900 for 3 hours of work is not a fair price. I am hoping Gina will understand that the entire scope was not done and come around to a more reasonable price. We will not ever use Mr. Rooter again. Unfortunately Gina has been very difficult to work with. The work was fine, and the tech was fine.

I called these guys out because I had a clogged line from the house to the sewer. They initially quoted me $581 to fix it but then came down to $400 when I told him that's all I would pay. I should've stopped there. They flushed the line with high-pressure water, and ran a camera. They then told me that I had roots that needed to be either removed or completely replace the existing line. The quote to remove the roots was $1000 and to fix the line was $2900. Three days later the line was clogged again. This time I called Roto-Rooter and they quoted me $150 to cut the roots out of the line versus Mr. Rooters price of $1000. Not going to use them again, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Feel ripped off.

If I could leave NO STARS I would. Called about slow draining pipes as well as garbage disposal backing up. They sent a text saying they would contact me within 30 min. That was on Thursday and I'm still waiting. Today, Monday, my dishwasher just flooded my kitchen. Could have been avoided if they had responded last week when promised.

Piedmont replaced the meter and said there was a gas leak which could be anywhere. The communication from the office was spot on. Matt Terpak was the technician they sent out and has done a great job and has spent a lot of time thoroughly checking everything. I would recommend Mr Rooter for any of your plumbing/gas lines needs. Too bad the AC guys can't be as efficient as this company .....

I had a plumbing problem with my kitchen and I called Mr. Rooter's, the technician named Russell Dixon came to my house and checked pipes underneath the basement and suggested that I repiped whole kitchen It will cost 1500. I told him I didn't have that much money I only need to unplug the pipe. He told me it would cost 390 dollars and he didn't have a snake long enough to do the job. I call roto-Rooter's and the only charged me 150. To unplug the drain..

This is the second time my husband and I have used this service. We liked Matt so much that he came back and worked on our new disposal that needed to be replaced. He ensured that our pipes throughout the house were working properly as well. Thank you, Matt, for your excellent support and service. Awesome personality too.

Spoke with a lady on the phone about a quote & she was completely rude. She kept interrupting me and then told me I can call & speak with someone else the next day. Not sure if they were closing so she was trying to rush me off the phone, but completely uncalled for and unprofessional.
