Told us we had a collapsed drain pipe and they had to tear up our basement floor at a cost of $3,500.
We called in Michigan plumping and they ""scoped"" the drain pipe and found no problems with the pipe. They then ran a cleaning cable thru and all is fixed. Cost $200.
They speculated that the other company was trying to use to large of a cable to clean it, as we have a little curve in our pipe which a large cable would be able to maneuver.
It's funny that after that estimate from Rooter they never called us to try to get us to do the work. If your company had a chance to make $3,500 wouldn't you keep in touch to see if the people changed their mind on having it done.

Advertise 24/7 but when I called they only have one person on call and they are extremely busy. This same thing happened with another company I called. Again 24/7. I said if you're so busy why don't you hire someone. How can you advertise 24/7 and then try and make me an appointment for next week. What? I have an emergency that would be why I'm calling you on a Saturday night.
I'm completely baffled and NO I would never recommend this company.

The technician (Matt P) was extremely helpful and courteous. He was prompt and very kind. He was able to provide very good information as to why the issue was happening and what exactly was being done to resolve the issue. I also think that including the camera after a plumbing issue is a great idea.

Have used Mr. Rooter several times...very friendly and professional service! My only complaint is all of the feedback emails but I guess that shows that they do care!

We called them for an estimate on a clogged drain. A guy came and looked and said it would be $791 to ""remove tub waste and overflow"" and ""cut out drum trap and install p-trap."" We asked around in dismay and our friend came over with a snake and fixed the clog in ten minutes for free. Thanks a lot Mr. Rooter. We have used you before for plumbing issues but the trust is gone. Never again.

I got my sump pump replaced by these guys. The technician was helpful and courteous. He told me that he cannot repair my pump and can only do a new install. I was a little apprehensive but agreed to go with their cast icon pump. I was pleasantly surprised by the sump pump he installed, high grade cast icon construction and uber-silent compared to my old pump. Charges were reasonable, happy with their service, would recommend.
Good to find a reasonable plumbing service provider after being excessively overcharged by ""The Meridian Plumbing"" company.

We had a water heater out over the holiday. The gentleman that serviced us really went above and beyond to get the job done for us quickly. We've used them several times before and they are always professional, on time, and up front. Overall, tremendous service.
