I had Mr. Rooter Plumbing come out on a Sunday because my drain line was backing up. They had a technician out within an hour and a half. I was happy with the timeliness of their service but when the technician began giving me his assessment of the issue it went from a simple plugged line which was supposed to be $125.00. The price grew to needing a camera inspection which was another $225.00 dollars because I have tree roots growing into my drain line. Then I'm told that I need to have the boot replaced under my house. That's another $1,300.00. That doesn't even cover the price of digging up the tree roots which was the original issue. The technician/ salesman was trying to get us to commit to over $2,000.00 worth of repairs there on the spot. My wife agreed to the non refundable deposit for the camera inspection which I don't want... They won't give a refund. So I ended up paying $265.00 to have a few tree roots snaked. Way overpriced & sketchy sales tactics. DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing will charge you $70 for an estimate! What happened to getting a free quote? This is a complete rip off! I called the owner (Emily Peek) to ask for a refund for this charge, and she refused to give us a refund. Mrs. Peek and her company seems to only be concerned with making money, and she doesn't seem to be concerned with being a good business partner to our community. Emily said that every ""quality"" company in Fort Smith charges a fee for an estimate/quote. This is completely false!

I called Paschal Air, Plumbing, & Electric for a a second quote. This company was happy to send a plumber to my home FOR FREE to get us a FREE quote. Imagine that!

Not only Paschal's quote free, but their quote was over $5,000 less than Mr. Rooter's quote! I was completely shocked! Over $5,000 less!

Do yourself a favor, and do you wallet a favor by hiring Paschal's Air, Plumbing & Electric, because Emily Peek and Mr. Rooter seem to only care about filling their pockets with your hard earned money. Mr. Rooter Plumbing is a complete rip off!

Had an underground water pipe leaking. Quick response. They were told the exact problem yet claimed to have to go back into town for parts. Brass connector?? This is the third time I had the same thing happen. The first two times there was not a trip for parts. Including the travel time back to town he spent 2.5 hours to complete the repair. The travel time to town and back was one hour. The charge was over $500. If I had known that plumbers would make more per hour than a lawyer I would have been a plumber. I believe that I was ripped off.

I made the mistake of calling (in my opinion they want to benefit from the reputable name ROTO ROOTER) because my kitchen sink was stopped up. Mr Rooter is before ROTO ROOTER in the phonebook. There were two men. One just standing around and I asked him if he would put my shower head on, I was charged $75 for him to literally screw it on! I feel it was more of a courtesy as a 71 year old lady I learned another lesson, I DO NO RECOMMEND MR ROOTER!!

ELDERLY BEWARE....
Elderly DAV customer......called them out for a plugged line they could not figure out what was wrong so the went into trying to over charge for setting a toilet $150.00 and a septic pumping $270.00 (minimum) that was not needed and they did not fix the problem...another plumber came out on a Sunday and fixed the issue.....mr rooter guys wore No mask put on shoe protectors walked outside and back through the house???? The owner is all about herself....does not care that they were trying to over charge...she said ""we snaked the line that's what you paid for"".... I would NOT recommend these people especially if your eldery....they will not fix the issue and will try to sell you stuff you don't need.

Probably the worst experience I had ever had. I had someone come in because water was draining into my sink from the washing machine for clothes. They came and fixed it. I tried to wash the clothes again but then water was coming from under it this time. (They have a 30 guarantee they'd come fix it but it's only for one time) the next day it was the original problem but even worst. I wouldn't go to them if you wanted it done right the first time.
