The hose on our washing machine rusted out and after I knocked it accidentally, water started spewing all over our laundry room. After I turned off the water to the house, I called our regular plumber who could not come out for a couple of days so I called Roto Rooter for Potomac and Victor came out within 90 minutes. He replaced both hoses and then noticed that the dryer hose was too short and wasn't staying connected. He got a new dryer hose and replaced that as well. Victor was incredibly helpful, efficient, and skillful. He saved me from my Lucy moment.

Cost me $79 for a ""free estimate"". Called to complain, they didn't want to hear it. Told me they would get back to me, never did. Rip off company!

Very responsive and conducted a quickturn fix for a main sewer line issue. The email and text updates were extremely helpful for us to get progress updates. Our technicians, Philip Vo and Tai Sommerfeldt, were very professional, courteous, and informative of our problem and what was done to fix it. Would recommend.

Sooo Happy right now, If I could give 100 stars I would!! My mother had a leak in her bathroom. So I called Angi, formally known as Angies List. A 2hr window appointment was made for the very next morning with Rich from Mr. Rooter! Not only did he show up on time but after he gave the quote which was agreed apon, He got to work. Rich was done in less than 2 hrs, and not only did he clean up he even put the rugs back down. I haven't seen my mother so happy about something in a long time!! Thank you Rich and Mr. Rooter!!
I recommend anyone who needs a plumber quick to call them!!!!!

Mr. Rooter (dba Reliable Expert Plumbing) Technician came and replaced water heater. The work was fine but he gashed the drywall in our stairwell with the something. It wasn't noticed before installer left and when it was noticed later, the manager who answered the phone rudely asked ""Why did you wait so long?"" (It was less than a week later) The water heater went out the day before my wife and I traveled out-of-state for Thanksgiving so we did not see it until we came home. I told the manager, to whom should I send pictures to formally report the damaged drywall and he gave me an email and hung up. I emailed the pictures and described what had happened and never received a response. I called again to verify the email and sent another and have yet to receive a response. It should be noted that NOT ONCE did I mention money, refund or repair. I was literally only calling to report it thinking they might care that their installers damaged customers property. (Extra ironic, that I ended up calling ""MR. Rooter"" by mistake when I meant to call ""Roto-Rooter""). I should have checked these yelp reviews before I scheduled them).

My dishwasher hasn't been working. I learned today it was because some clown from mr.rooter improperly installed my garbage disposal. They told me my warranty expired and to fuck off. They hung up on me. I tried to call them back but they didn't answer.

Some plusses and BIG minuses. I found their basic plumbing skills including using the latest technology to find a main house drain leak to be first rate. Unfortunately, their excavation to replace my sewer line was careless and unsafe. They cut my gas line requiring the fire department and gas company to respond, severed an electric line to a pole lamp, and caused considerable damage to trees and foliage.

Do not use this company. Got confused with Roto Rooter (they are not Rooter). Had them come out to fix a water line leak (that may or may not have existed as they never confirmed that there was a leak once the job got underway).
Initial worker was very casual about diagnosing the problem and not thorough at all. Once the project began, he was never seen from again. He was just eager to get the project started and couldn't care less after that point (while also misdiagnosing another problem which we thankfully did not have them undertake).

The work was substantial and took an entire day but the crew left my yard and the basement an absolute mess. Really really poor.
Mud everywhere, full tree branches (including one that is 12-15 feet long) just laying in my driveway after they rushed off to leave. Will now cost me in all likelihood additional thousands just clean up the mess they made. Incredibly unsatisfied.
