BEWARE!!!
I needed a toilet repair and still do, but they came out and assessed the situation. They installed a $25-$50 part on the toilet. The tech spent about 10-15 minutes on the repair and came back and told us we needed a new toilet because they don't work on glacier bay toilets. Of course that's not the news you want to hear, but it is what it is. I asked how much do I owe and it came back $600.00+ dollars. I asked what for and the technician said because of what he installed. He didn't test the part, I know this because he didn't turn the water on to fill the tank. I called another company to get a second opinion and they confirmed as well that we needed a new toilet and gave us some options that cost us nothing. I reached out to ask for a partial refund on that part he installed and now I'm getting the run around. They mentioned suing me if I did a stop payment and to keep reaching out for my refund. I've called every day that they e told me to reach out and they are just giving the run around. They should've led with the fact that I needed a new toilet before chargeing me $300.00+ dollars for a part that is useless since I now have to get a new toilet. At this point they are not owning up to the mistake they made and giving me the run around for my refund. I've been scammed by this company trusting they knew what they were doing because I don't know much about plumbing and in my opinion they don't stand by their work or at least admit when they've made a mistake. Be very careful with these guys. I had to give a star to post this, so in thinking of how they of a reason for the star, the tech was a nice person. But I wasn't looking for a pal, I was looking to get my toilet fixed.

I live in Denton Tx. When you call the 940 number (which is a Denton area code) a lady name Lisa will answer the phone and set your appointment even after you give ber your address she will send you to the Dallas location. The plumber was looking for my home in Dallas! After this mix up I re scheduled . I had a no show so I called to see what's going on
She told me I didn't have an appointment and again transferred me to Dallas! Too unorganized for me.. Thank goodness I didn't have an emergency
Lisa needs to get it together and that dispatcher in Dallas is rude as hell

Would give 0 stars if I could. Absolutely terrible and unreliable.
Call at 6: yes we can have someone out in the morning. Cant tell you time frame but you'll get confirm.
Receive call at 6:30: missed it. So I called back and the rep has no clue why I'm calling.
Morning comes: nothing. I call mr rooter. Local guy calls back "yeah I have no idea why they told you we could come this morning"
Thank you for narrowing down who I should not use for plumbing.
I ended up using Ganske and Sons and they were awesome.

A few months ago my toilets and my shower both backed up and flooded my bathroom. But that resolved on its own it appeared. But my Toilet started gurgling againAnd I was concerned that my toilets would flood again. So I had a representative from Mr. Rooter come out to determine the problem and fix it. They didn't show up on the day that they were supposed to and didn't call. He showed up the next day. I explained the problem I was having with the toilet's gurgling and that my toilets had flooded before and I was concerned about it. He looked at it and insisted there is nothing wrong. 3 weeks later my toilets and my shower are flooding And it didn't have to be.

I had a plumbing nightmare this weekend.. of course it was at 11:30 pm! I called 3 places prior to Mr. Rooter, which was the ONLY ONE THAT RESPONDED... all were 24 hr service providers. Michael was very prompt, I spoke to the dispatch and received a call back within 10 minutes! He was very professional and committed to solving my very messy situation, both bathrooms flooded, toilets and tubs.. he left my house around 4:45 am. Job well done Michael.. you're the best!!!!
Thank you so much !!

This was the worst experience I have ever had for an legit this company is a joke. unclog drain was over 800 dollars+ and the next day the problem was still not fixed. He told us we needed new pipes. Which was going to be over $2,000. I ended up calling a second plumber and he told us our pipes were okay and was able to get the problem fixed. I do not recommend this! Plumbing company!!! Period

This is the biggest rip off I have ever encountered. My kitchen faucet broke on Sat and I called them as their site specifically states no ot, weekend...extra charges. They charged $199 told me they could not fix it without a part and someone would come out on Sunday with the part. Well no, they came out and said it was not a part and I needed a whole new faucet at $870 with no consideration for the $199 I already paid. They said if I bought one it was $500. I told them I felt they were taking advantage but I had no choice but to fix it. The guy refused to fix it he said I was upset and so he refused. They never responded back and is has been a week. O paid $199 for 10 minutes, no resolution on even a partial refund. I called ARS , they came out on Sunday charged $49 service call + a $50 discount all applied to my repair of a total cost of $279. I bought a new moen replacement faucet at Lowes on sale from $259 fir $129. DO NOT USE MR ROOTER unless you like throwing away money.

These jokers came out 14 1/2 months ago and replace our water heater. Top of the line water heater. This morning no hot water. You would think they would have fixed the shotty job they did wiring it for free. But think again. It was past the 1-year install warranty. They wanted over $350 to fix the problem they cause in the first place with a horrible wiring job. Replacing a $35 cord and wiring it correctly. Be careful with these jokers. They do not stand by their work and could care less if they install dangerous water heaters. This could have easily been a real-life and deadly fire. My next step is to report them with the attached pictures and more to the BBB and licensing board. Just be careful. There are much better deals and people who actually care about their work and reputation out there. Stay far away from these guys....

This is a detail of my experience on Sunday. May 24. My kitchen drain was stopped up. After I tried unsuccessfully to unclog it, I called them. They advertise no extra cost for weekends and that was probably the case. One plumber arrived in a hour or so and explained that they have standard charges for drain cleaning which was $280 which is at the high end of what is typical to snake a drain. I agreed but told the plumber that had a discount coupon which he agreed was valid and would lower the cost somewhat. After several attempts to clear the clog failed, the plumber said that he would need to run a camera down the drain and use a pressure jet device to clear the clog. He explained that he also needed a helper to assist because the pressure jet causes a mess. He also said that it is considerably more expensive than just using the snake device. So once the helper arrived and after approximately 3 hours of trying the clear the drain, the plumber concluded that the cast iron drain had apparently corroded and collapsed necessitating tunneling under the concrete slab and replacing the failed drain section. He provided me an estimate of close to $21,000 for his company to repair the drain. At that point, I decided to get another repair estimate. Maybe it is their policy to charge full price for each service regardless of whether it solves a problem or not which is what they did. $286 for the snake procedure and an additional $552 for the helper, jet procedure and camera inspection. So my bill was for $838 which they did not discount per the coupon I had even though they were not able to help me other that diagnosing the problem. Now on May 27, I have received a repair estimate from a very highly rated plumbing company that is around $10,000 or 1/2 what Mr. Rooter wants. This review is not designed to be a criticism but a detailed report of my experience.

Had Mr Rooter out to clean out a main line drain at my parents house, 5 hours into the job the tech is still looking for the clean outs in the front flower bed. I had just mulched my parents landscaping beds the week before. Finally found the issue in the main line almost to the street where a tree root (Live Oak) had gotten into the pipe. After the mess made in the landscape beds and now less than 60 days later it's doing the same thing. Either my parents have the most nutritious gray and black water ever or they didn't clean out the pipe thoroughly. I know live oaks are fast growers and all but the wax myrtle at my house that cause the same issue of roots growing in a pipe didn't give me any trouble for over six months before I had the pipe repaired. I would be asking lots of questions before making this phone call.
