Mr. Rooter came out and quoted almost $3,000 for a job. They claimed it's a two person all day job under the house and would involve cutting into our bathroom wall. We then called two other companies for a second opinion. Both companies quoted under $800 and no wall work. In fact, they couldn't figure out why anyone needed into the wall for an elbow replacement under the house. We chose company B and it got fixed in about an hour for just over $700!

My review is for their scheduler and their scheduling system: They don't even get one star. On Thursday, I needed a plumber as soon as possible for toilet and other plumbing issues. The scheduler had nothing for then or the next day, so it would bring me to the weekend, where they would add $95 to the final cost. I decided to choose Monday since money was an issue. But they had no appointments available Monday either, so I took the first available for Tuesday morning at 8:30am. Fast forward to now, Tuesday at 1:30 pm, when no one has shown up. I was finally able to get ahold of the scheduler who told me that they were not able to come to my scheduled appointment because I didn't answer my confirmation phone call this morning! The number she told me they called was some random number that I had never heard of. I made the appointment from my only cell phone. I only have this one phone number and they never even asked me what it was when making the appointment, only my email address. I received several reminder emails saying they would be here Tues. morning. She said the computer captures your phone number when you make the appointment, and that is the number they will call to confirm, and they will not keep your appointment unless you answer the phone. Something is just not right with their system if it is capturing random numbers, and they are relying on that system to confirm appointments. I told her I would have to call another company since she could not fit me in for today (even though I had made my appointment 5 days ago.)

I recently bought a house and Mr rooter redid the plumbing. They left trash in the basement and ran out of fittings so they left it and got paid for the job. I had to finish the job myself, buy the fittings, glue, primer and throw away all the trash they left.

I called and got very friendly service on the phone - they were willing to send a technician out the same day, though we requested to schedule the next day instead - still, it was impressive how quickly they were available to help for a minor problem. The technician who came out was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend and we'll definitely be calling Mr. Rooter for any future plumbing needs!

The technician Leroy showed up and was very professional. The initial visit and professional opinion was free of charge. Within no time we knew the root of the problem and they offered their services at an extremely reasonable rate. The job was extensive between running the snake, using a device to locate break in line below the slab foundation, removing old water heater, busting up slab in two rooms, digging under the house down finding the bad section, repairing section, pouring concrete, hooking up new water heater. Not to mention all the invaluable information I gained from just talking to him about different plumbing concerns. They did not charge hourly and that worked in my favor considering the tech was here 3 full days more or less. Our street is being worked on and they could not park close to the house but never once complained or skimped on heavy tools need to perform job. Although Leroy was in charge, his boss/owner came out a few times to assist and offer a hand. Larry the owner/ boss was polite and professional as well. You can tell that his values are also those of the people he hires and trust to take care of their customers. They reassured us that a permanent fix was their goal and not just a patch job. They were genuine, and wanted what was best for us. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone who wants great service and professional who don't cut corners.

If you have an emergency do not call Mr Rooter. They say 24/7 but what it really is, ""we can have someone there in 3 days.
With a few YouTube videos and some self determination we just did it our selves!

We used these jokers once when clogged up by one of those big brown torpedo's..You know what I'm saying right? They got the sucker unclogged, busted that torpedo up! Owned it and got her to flush down the drain.

I thought dude was going to chase it and dive in head first, but yeah he didn't and still got that sucker zapped out of there. Mr. Rooter will come to your rescue, they have them long pipes for unclogging and all kinds of stuff.

Had them out to extend the flange up to the height of my new bathroom tile and install a new toilet. The technician that came out did great work and was very friendly. My problem is with the customer service portion. I set up a 2:30pm appointment almost a week and a half in advance. I received a call from them at 2:00pm that she was waiting for a call from the technician to be headed that way and would call back as soon as he was. I took off work early that day to meet them at my house. After still not hearing anything by 2:50pm I called back and was given the same speech about how she was waiting for a call from the technician and it would be at least 4pm until they would be out there and she was just going to push my appointment back until the 4pm slot. Not once was I given a ""sorry about the delay"" or anything of the sort. I had to leave at 5pm (hence the 2:30pm appointment) and was made to feel like it was no big deal that they wouldn't be there until an hour and half after they were supposed to be.

Quality work, and the technician was professional. But, I feel like I was taken advantage of. It seems that I paid way too much, compared to what other companies charged for the same job. Almost $1000 in labor cost to install a water heater, for a job that took less than 3 hours??? Will never use again :-(

Roto rooter showed up in the time they said and were very professional. They tested all areas of leakage before leaving and gave us info on what we can do. This time it was tree roots next time it could be something else blocking our pipes and causing an overflow! Thank you Roto Rooter!
