Henry came to our house about a month and a half ago to clean a clogged drain with a snake, after trying to snake out the roots he said he broke his snake but got some roots out. He then left. Yesterday we called another company as the line is clogged again and when he put the camera in he saw a snake left in the pipe, and was not able to get it out so we called Mr Rooter back again and the manager Shane called. On then phone he asked what type of snake, is it metal? And I said yes and he said I'm pretty sure that is not our snake because we don't use metal on our snake but I'll check tomorrow. He came and brought his snake and said all out snake are black cable and we don't use metal so that is not our snake. We have a witness that saw the snake broke it and the technician even admitted he broke his snake and yet he still lied and said that was not his. I will report this company to BBB, please beware of these guys they are dishonest.

I called Mr. Rooter out with interest in their $78.88 drain cleaning special, knowing that it could be more. The receptionist was polite and responsive, getting me a same day appointment. Thus, this is a 2-star review and not a 1. The tech comes out, surveys the yard for a clean out, decides that he needs to go through the roof access, and calls me with a quote of $850 (I was not at the house). I reply ""sorry, but what happened to the $78.88 cleaning? $850 is too expensive. I will have to try the do it yourself chemical wash out first to see it that works."" He replied ""What? You would..."" He then scoffed and abruptly hung up on me. Never again will I use this Mr. Roooter location.

My family contracted Mr. Rooter's plumbing service to work on our homes' pipes. The service proved to be overpriced, and their work was haphazard. The company did not respect the property, and their work was sloppy and destructive. Mr. Rooter's plumbing practices were not very clean, often leaving their trash at the worksite. The complete and gross overpricing of their services was especially infuriating. Overall, Mr. Rooter's abhorrent business practices and gross overestimate and destructive practices make the utilization of their services both unscrupulous and undesirable.

When you buy an old home, you've signed on to a long term commitment to maintain it. I've been using Mr. Rooter for 25 yrs for plumbing and general contracting work around my house. Great team and customer service! I've recommended them to several friends over the years. They are like family at this point! All my incoming water and gas lines were replaced, along with outgoing sewer lines and maintenance over the years. They remodeled my home over time; 3 bathrooms, doors, flooring, paint, hot water heaters, electrical, sprinkler system, outside walkways, concrete and planters. I get compliments on my renovations from everyone that visits!

Had an overflowing sewage drain in the front of the house. Called Mr Rooter and they came. First, they told me I would need a HydroJet done to clear the pipe, which would cost $900. I looked up the average cost of this procedure and it was around $100-600. They then used their ""camera"" to look into the pipe and said that I would need to replace the whole thing due to root damage and that I would have to replace the entire sewage line for 8-9k. Or I could pay 1.6k to clear the roots and that would just buy me time for a few months/years. Sure enough everything has been working fine! Pretty pathetic attempt to scam customers. They will only try to upsell you things you dont need! Be very wary!

When I called the first time the person hung up on me should've known from there. Called back spoke to the answering service and received a call back, scheduled appt for next day. I was at work and wasn't able to be in person second mistake. Like a used car salesman they auged the drain to the main and said it need to be hydrocleaned. For 395.00 are you kidding me my son agreed because he didn't pay for it I will. Never use their service again unless you wish to be hosed. I had another guy out from them he did the work and was great these guys are used car salesmen.

Six people using one bathroom sucks! We called Mr. Rooter after being strung along by two other places. Ozzie came out, was knowledgeable, professional, totally understood what the problem was and FIXED it quickly and got our bathroom working again! Highly Recommend!

Very responsive and professional service. They really know how to resolve issues and keep costs at a minimum. The water supply line going to the washer in my condo was leaking, they were able to locate the issue and resolve it on the spot. Thanks again Mr. Rooter!
