Victor G.You guys really over charge people!
3k to rod and jet the kitchen line............,........
Ceanette A.Horrible. Stay far far away. Entered a contract with them because I was guaranteed job will be done in 1-2 days. Fast forward 2 weeks later, still not done. Given the runaround. Would not find out what is going on if I hadn't called the office to follow up. Had to push everything back because of plumbing issue that has not been resolved. Tried to terminate the contract and was told it was past 72 hour window. Disastrous experience.
Call around and you will find better quality service and prices elsewhere! Don't believe the reviews! They promise their employees bonus incentives for getting customers to write positive reviews while they are at their house or business but the management never follows through to fulfill these incentives for their employees. They require their employees to upsell you on products that don't work and hire plumbers that aren't licensed. If you choose their service, you may never know if what you have done was done correctly and to code. The owner and manager are unprofessional and incompetent in communicating. They mistreat their customers and employees. They overcharge customers and underpay employees! I would never use their services and support their ""business."" PLEASE don't support these scammers!
My sister was in a bad spot with a leaky pipe but Mr. Rooter was able to come out quickly to inspect. During the inspection the plumber was able to diagnose the garbage disposal was the actual culprit. It was not functioning correctly which led to a major clog. They were able to order a few options from fixing the immediate issue to a total solution including a new garbage disposal. Everything is back up and running and my sister couldn't be happier.
The service not as described: the toilet problem was not properly diagnosed and the toliet would not flush..spoke to female employee by the name of Sharon about the problem and reassured me that the problem would be resolved. I had to reschedule to fix the problem and I also had to request for experienced plumber. The first plumber sent by mr rooter did not properly diagnose the toilet problem which resulted for a second visit with the more experienced plumber. I had to file a dispute claim with the credit card company for substandard service. Buyer beware..buyer remorse!
Marcela L.Mr. Rooter is overpriced. They charged me $496.13 to rod the sewer. By 11/11/21 it was clogged again. They wanted me to do a hydro-rodding to get rid of a root, for more money. New place I called did hydro for cheaper all in one visit.
Nicole L.Horrible. sewer backed up on a Sunday, they were the first to come out (we had just rodded our sewer a week and a half prior). The ""plumber"" rodded our sewer but couldn't guarantee their service because he claimed we had a broken pipe in our backyard (he thought that's where our pipes ran). Charged us $500 and attempted to get us to pay him 5 grand to come out the next day and replace said broken pipe... luckily we called around and come to find out 1. Our pipe is not broken 2. Our pipes run out to the front of the house, as most do in our area 3. All we needed was to rod it out from the yard (through a pipe that we already have that he was trying to say we needed replaced. Awful week full of stress, not being able to use our washer, or give our toddlers baths at home.
We had a slow running drain and also had a 10% off. So we called in the morning. A technician arrived in mid afternoon.
JJ the technician, was very nice and knew what he was doing. He routed our lines in both directions and cleaned out a lot of small tree roots.
This was an overall very good experience and would recommend them for plumbing issue.
Allen M.I've never been more let down by a company! We called Sunday (05/17/20) around 11:25pm. We had flooding in the basement. The lady who answered explained the $50 emergency fee and how it would apply to the work if we went forward. I asked if they had an estimated timeframe. 1 hour, maybe a 4 hour window? I was told that someone would call me when they had a chance. I understand that it was a hectic time and there was flooding everywhere, but my fiancé and I stayed up all night trying to save our home and no one ever called or emailed. What a disappointment! You reach out to a company in a time of great desperation, and instead of someone reaching out for a second and saying ""listen pal, it ain't gonna happen so maybe you should try elsewhere."" our well being was not on their list of priorities. We were ""Yes Sir'd"" to death and left to deal with it on our own! The icing on the cake was when I called THE NEXT DAY to ask what happened, a non-compassionate girl answered my questions of why no one even ever called us was ""We have a lot of customers and are trying to get to all of them!"" I replied with if you know it's an emergency, why wouldn't someone take the 30 seconds it would take to call and let us know it isn't gonna happen so we could get help elsewhere?!? We are here all night waiting for help that was never coming!!!! We have a lot of customers? Really? Well guess what.. you just lost one. Please cancel my EMERGENCY APPOINTMENT! I was told sorry and I hung up. I'll tell my ruined basement that the girl at Mr. Rooter is sorry so it's ok...right?
Linda J.We had a plumbing issue and could not find any plumbers available to come out right away. A friend gave us the referral for Mr. Rooter. What a mistake. They WAY OVERCHARGED. We made an insurance claim and our adjuster said they charged us too much for the little work they did. We will not use this company again.
