TONY KAPPER - CLSR 110% worthless. I paid 1,877.77$ to get zero results. That is what they charged me for two expansion tanks and some copper pipe. Called back probably a dozen times to get my original issues resolved, to no avail. Manager Frank came to our house twice, but still, no resolution. These people either have Zero expertise or are just simply taking advantage of those of us without plumbing knowledge. I feel exploited. If you need a recommendation let me know, Call Gary for plumbing needs he fixed our issue for $300.

Mr Rooter damaged my driveway in April while they were fixing my plumbing. They were quick to admit that they damaged the driveway but two months later my driveway is still not fixed.

The managers at Mr Rooter humored themselves by having me call around for contractors to get estimates to fix the driveway. Wasted my time for months!!! Mr Rooter does not deem me or my property worthy of their insurance.

Pictures are just some of the damage to the driveway. It's crumbling & leaning.

Just to give a neighborly warning. If you're having either sanitation or storm drain issues that are affecting your house, BEFORE you call Mr Rooter, call your city/county and ask them to come out to access the problem. Unfortunately, we did not know to do this and Mr Rooter, of course, did not suggest it. $11K later we find out that a lot of the problem was with the city/county drains which they will fix at no cost to the home owner. Hopefully we can prevent someone else from learning this very expensive lesson.

So, funny story. I called Mr. Rooter to repair a water heater they installed 3 years ago. Response was very prompt. After a failed attempt at repair, I mentioned that this unit was still under warranty. Their response? According to the serviceman, his boss says (paraphrasing): Oh, well we don't normally carry that line of water heater. We don't know where we got them from and we don't know how they handle their warranties, so here, call these other guys.

In other words, we f**ked up, we installed it, it's broke and we aren't going to do anything about it. You're on your own.

Needless to say, I am not pleased. I have nothing bad to say about the serviceman. He was professional, polite and sympathetic. I even offered to pay for part of the cost of a new install, and they were like, nope not interested.

Mr. Rooter has been the first company I call since 2013. I don't think that's going to happen anymore. From 5 stars to 1 star in 3 years. Impressive.

I hired Mr. Rooter when my tankless heater went out last summer. They installed a new Navien heater for the tune of $4600. One year later, the heater is throwing error codes. While the heater is still under a parts warranty, Mr Rooter is expecting me to pay labor for the install of the new part. I find it preposterous that such an expensive unit would need service so quickly and that they won't do the right thing and stand by their work.

Furthermore, while the tech (Paul, I think) definitely understood my frustration, the manager (Brian) was condescending and arrogant when I voiced my frustration with him over the phone. After I declined to allow them to perform the work out of principle, we ended the call. To make matters worse, he must have pocket dialed me back because I got a call back and overheard him talking badly about me to a colleague.

Don't hire Mr Rooter. They're a big box plumber who doesn't care about doing right by their customers.

This company is not about the customer. The manager Josh would not listen and would only say ""you probably need to have your whole house redone"" he then said the guy would be ""30 minutes behind me to snake your drains"". At 11:30 I had to call and the lady said ""oh you are scheduled between 11-1. This would have been nice to know as I had things to do. When the technician finally showed up (very nice guy), he cleared my drains and he answered my questions regarding having the entire house redone. He also set up appointment for them to come give estimate. 25 minutes (and after no call)after they were supposed to be there, I decided to give them a call. I was told ""the technicians are busy and can't come today"" WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Then I call main office and speak with ""Sophie, the office manager and she listens to me then says, ""what do you want me do to for you today?"" This company is horrible and do not recommend! I put a 1 star, only because they didn't have an option for none

Dave was awesome. Early, efficient, and knowledgeable! Mr. Rooter even has a policy of installing customer bought Fossetts and handles. The competition, Sal's, would not. He changed out a three handle system and showerhead in the shower and change the shut off valves to the shower to ball valve shut offs in less than two hours. Dave also explained a lot of other things that I did not know and gave me estimate on some other work I need. I will definitely be using Mr. Rooter again as well as recommending Dave
