Had a clog on a weekend, and contacted Mr. Rooter. They say when you call them that they will come out and provide you with a free estimate and then will complete the work if you are happy with their price. I asked for even just a rough estimate of what it would cost, but they said they could not provide me with that information. I had called a rental company and had a $40 drain cleaning auger on hold, but then waited two hours before Mr Rooter arrived, hoping they would provide a fair price and quick service. In short, they provided me with a ridiculous price, and tried to justify it by saying they would run their camera system through the line. When I said I did not need that service, and what it would cost without it, they said it didn't really matter, the price would be the same. Keep in mind I had already removed the toilet (which they said was good because it would save me a lot of money in lieu of them doing it) and cleaned up everything so that it literally would have only taken less than 10 minutes to correct my problem, and maybe 10 more minutes to re-install the toilet. I said no thank you, went out and rented the drain cleaner, and had the clog fixed within an hour. But I did have to deal with driving to and from the rental company. But I saved myself hundreds by doing it myself. I wish they could have just told me what an average drain clog removal costs. It would have saved me the couple of hours I lost waiting for them to come out and giving me a ridiculous price. If you are DESPERATE and do not care about price, I guess they would not be the worst option.

Run away!!! Do not use this company. After agreeing with the employee to put in 2 toilets equivalent to the 3rd one in our house the plumber goes to get the 2 toilets at a price that he could easily get a decent toilet. After installing them he showed them to me. I replied they weren't any better than the old ones we had. He told me the pea trap needed to be flushed out and they would get better after a few flushes. I trusted him and paid. I was lied to. After a few more flushes they weren't any better and one of them started leaking around the base of the toilet. I will definitely never use this company again.

Please beware of them. We called them twice. 1st time to fix a leak in water heater pipe (only sealant was damaged). The plumber comes up at 10 pm and straight suggested to replace it. Then we said only sealant was damaged and its so much visible to fix it. So he started his work, never turned water supply off and straight away started chopping down pipe instead of just applying sealant, all water splashed over his face and my floor (storage room). (=ACCIDENT or Death to him or anyone standing by if water was hot but I had kept electrical turned off so he was safe). Then he caused leak inside the wall so had to cut down wall to fix it. $250 was billed. In all story, a sealant ($5) from homedpot could have fixed it. 2nd time- we had a broken shut off valve ($5) by a layman, their plumbing technician comes up and cuts drywall to fix it. When they turned water on considering its fixed, we could hear loud noise of water gushing from somewhere and then we realised that water was drenching like a rainfall from my living room. He removed the toilet seat to see if damage was from there. Next 30 min, he said he was not sure where the leak could be possible so had to tear all drywalls and crack the tiles in bathroom. $500 to fix it that way or replace all water line as it was old and weak ($6000). SO $5 shut off valve ended in $6000 in 1 night. Next morning we called company 2 to get 2nd opinion and it was Benjamin Franklin, the plumber said he would get fired if he worked in this way, looking at entire condition of house. Then we called the manager of company and he did turned in and helped it fix so I am thankful and did not charge us anything but our situation by that morning was """"restoration"""". They suggested us a company for restoration and that company further damaged entire house just to get well paid off. Knocked down 200 sq ft of ceiling, and ripped all carpet, toilets (even one which had no damage), and chopped off all drywalls to 1 ft from ground. I had the original contractor ( who built the houses) come over and look at it, he said that the carpets and drywall had spacing of 2 inches and there was no chance to cut down the walls. I am writing it to save people going by their coupons and I really feel that the county should check or fine such companies. Its almost 6 months and even insurance company did not pay us as much was damaged. So we had been paying rents, HOA, electric bills for 2 places and for almost 6 months, insurance did not pay us even 1/3rd part of all. We had our savings so we are able to fix the house and come over but it was all worst. Please see a youtube video or talk to someone in lowes and homedepot and try yourself coz 99% chances are you can fix it.

I had an emergency sewer back up and I called Mr Rooter to come out. Im new to the area and they were the first on the google search. They came out and after doing a quick look around they couldnt find a 2 way clean out. they charged me 900!!!! bucks to put in a 2 way drain, snake and camera exam. Except there camera was broken and after the guy snaked our lines we were still backed up 2 days later. They finally came out with the camera after a week and then is trying to charge me 1300!!!! bucks to jet my cast iron pipes! On top of that when he used his camera he found the 2 way clean out farther out in my yard. He said he would give me a special price if I told him to jet my pipes within the day. I called a local plumber and he said he would of put the 2 way in, snake and jet my pipes for 600 bucks which is way better than 2200. I would stay away from these guys all they do it drain you of your hard earned money! Complete Rip off.

RATS! Another company set traps & reset several times only to continue to have them. The company failed to explore the crawl spaces .I called Mr rooter & arrives a Nick Waugh who was so honest and refused to do the smoke test because it logically made no sense. He was analyzing the situation and got in ugly places without fear. Found the access points and remedied the situation! Very fair Ask for Nick Waugh!

I would give ZERO stars if I could. These people are ridiculous! They installed a water heater 2 years ago and It should be under warranty, yet the pilot won't light and they want almost $300 to diagnose the issue. Really? $300???? They can go F themselves. I've had nothing but issues with this hot water tank. I agree with the reviews that say """"Run Away,"""" and """"Ridiculous Prices.""""

Very prompt same day service for changing a very old kitchen water filter system.. John was professional, competent and neat. Very pleased.

Good for them but shame on me for not doing my homework before signing the contract. What started out as a $375.00 call ended up costing me almost 15,000 dollars yes almost $15,000 dollars. Don't get me wrong the workers are great and hard working but the pricing is out of this world. They replaced about 50 feet of pvc sewer pipe and added a clean out. They used a small backhoe to dig the trench and they will finish it tomorrow. So a day and a half of work cost me almost $15,000 dollars. It was a costly mistake for me but I've learned my lesson. Good on them for being able to charge this much but I won't make this mistake again.

I called Mr. Rooter late Saturday afternoon for an estimate for work I spoke to Tyiler the office manager. Tyler sent out Ozzy within 10 minutes. This gentleman was the most helpful professional guy if ever seen with a company. Very good honest prices. The work was done quickly and very neatly. I will be having other jobs done for sure. I highly recommend this company. They also accepted a 25.00 coupon i found online. Very very happy customer.

Scheduled appointment for 12/19/2022 between 9-12. I waited and waited -- no one ever showed up, nor did anyone call to let me know what was going on or what happened. I received a text that evening asking if they could reschedule for the next day -- no explanation and no apology. Terrible customer service!!
