2018 and people are still beating senior citizens out of our money. I am retired and on a fixed income, a small pension and of course SSA. I didn't expect them give a discount but I was ripped off. I don't know what the guy did, but it took less than thirty minutes to do it, and it cost me almost 400.00. They didn't even send me a receipt to show me the service that was rendered. They promised to be at my home Tuesday morning at 9:AM, they didn't come until Wednesday the next day at 1:25 PM. They came to my home 8-21-18, today is 11-11-18, and I still haven't received my receipt yet.

Called early last Sunday morning in regard to a major plumbing emergency -pipe burst. Spoke to the rep who said they would get back to me shortly after speaking to their field reps. Got a call on Thursday that they were on their way to my home. 4 days later was too late.

We called several businesses to help up with an issue of pipes knocking in the walls when 2 water sources were running simultaneously. Jason Johnson came out on a Sunday, diagnosed the issue (old PRV), gave us an estimate for the work, and returned the next day with the parts to fix it. He and another gentleman did a great job. We decided to replace the quite old water heater at the same time. They were fast, clean and thorough. He took the time to explain the process from beginning to end and my options. Thanks for the great work!

Beware of shoddy work. We had Mr Rooter fix a leaking main water line (right at the shutoff valve) on August 31 of 2017. A mere 54 weeks later we hear a hissing sound in the wall (thank goodness we noticed it when we did) and were dismayed to discover the repair leaking again. We called Mr. Rooter back up and they told us the news that our 1-year warranty had expired two weeks prior. I suggested that might be one thing on a leaky shower or whatnot, but the main water line needed to last 20 years or near forever. I offered them the chance to make it right but they seemed intent on sticking to the 1-year only and charging us to repair it. Needless to say, we chose a different plumber.

Very please with Jason Johnson's work. He went beyond the call of duty on a major leak repair. He was able to find what was a very hard leak to locate 4 feet under ground. When he found it he noticed the pipe was galvanized and deteriorating. Once he cut into the pipe he noticed the inside was horribly corroded. He worked up a good price for us to repair the entire line to the house. Once they got into the job they found out the work was going to be much more than they anticipated but they stood by their price. They had to removed sod and plants during the job and replaced it all even though they were not required to. I truly appreciate Jason's honesty, hard work, and willingness to get the job done right. Highly recommend Jason and Mr. Rooter to anyone.

I can not be a happier person since ive associated myself with this company. I jason johnson am super excited everytime i see that big red van with the friendly man.

Goodness, I had no idea I could get robbed so easily! Imagine what would happen if an elderly person called these guys. They came out to rotor out my plugged drain. They did, then sent the guy as a part of the original $600 service out the next day to run a camera through the line to see what was wrong. The guy they sent didn't do his job, said his camera wouldn't fit in the line and that I needed a new clean out. No refund for the lack of that service. They gave me a quote to install a new clean out ----- $10,000!!! I just had another company out they ran an entirely new line and put in two clean outs for $4,200. That company was Master Rooter BTW. With Mr. Rooter of Roswell you will be fleeced if they think they have you backed up against a wall. I do not recommend them at all.

Very unhappy with company. Called because i had a cracked on one of my drain pipes inside my wall causing a leak. They charged me $38 for the service call and then gave me an estimate of $700 dollars to fix it. I asked the tech Curtis for the estimate and i reviewed it very well and no where did it say a breakdown of pricing, it just had service call and price to fix pipe = $697.36. I called and asked for a break down of parts and labor and the lady said simply thats the price. I was very shocked. I called Roto- Roooter for 2nd opinion on pricing and they charged me $400 for fixing it and ZERO for service call. What a rip off Mr. Rooter !

Tech was Kenny. He came out first a few weeks ago to repair/replace a water line that caused flooding. He did a good job and came out as scheduled. At that time, requested a quote from him on hot water tank. That work was done yesterday, again by Kenny. On both occasions, he arrived promptly and did what I feel is pretty good work. There was a hiccup...upon installing hot water tank, turned everything back on and tank had a nasty leak. Kenny explained it was a defective tank, and was kind enough to secure a replacement tank same-day and not leave us without water overnight (it was late on a Friday). Very much appreciated that. I'm deducting one star due to value. First, I scheduled this appt online where they say 10% discount would be applied just for scheduling online. Uhhh...nope. Second, I found the quote to be quite high ($1200)...but I sought two other quotes and this was the lowest. I'd have tried replacing myself but don't want to mess around with gas and leaks. Net, not the best value, but dependable service and would likely try them again in the future. And always good when they arrive when they say they will, as Kenny did both times.

We have a 1963 brick ranch with cast iron pipes. The house has outlived the pipes. Rust and years of build up have clogged the pipes. Curtis McMillan on two separate occasions has now replaced 80% of the pipe. It's a big project we've been addressing over the last few years. Curtis is a master plumber. Dedicated, diligent great customer service. Super nice guy - he's part of our family. I know that the other plumbers call him for advice and they should. With Curtis on their team, Mr. Rooter is my go-to for anything plumbing. Highly recommended!
