If you want to be stood up twice by a company, having two days wasted in a row, excuses about why they couldn't arrive timely, or just lies, I will be there, at 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10...10:30....No Plumber shows up. First day, they rescheduled as they said they were stuck on a job. Second day they kept pushing the time until 10:30 to 11:00pm It was an installation. This time they blamed it on the weather. Unacceptable!!!! Dont waste your time. Go with someone local, these people are terrible, terrible customer service, terrible people who do not respect your time
Jimmy B.once again, mr. rooter's mark, danielle, and lori have done it again!!!!!! totally awesome service and efficiency!!! thank you for everything!!!!! will use you time and again!!!!! many blessings, jimmy
Diary of a disaster: A leaking shower prompted my call to Mr. Rooter. The job was relatively simple; replace the cartridge in our shower handle valve. Then I returned home, the plumber had come and gone. The shower didn't work properly. I called to report the problem, and they scheduled another visit. After they missed that appointment, they set up a third. This time, the plumber showed up. I explained how a single handle shower should work, showed him the markings on the handle and wall plate, and requested him to make it right. He never could. After 30 minutes, he left, telling me that Mr. Rooter would schedule a more senior plumber to come out. They called to reschedule. Then, they called to reschedule again. I advised them that I would be traveling, and gave them my wife's contact info. They called me again, several times, for yet more rescheduling, despite my repeated instructions to call my wife. In the end, they just didn't show up. My wife declined the charge to her credit card. Amazingly, they were very responsive to the card company about getting the money. In the end, I've got a shower that still doesn't work as it should, and Mr. Rooter has our money for a botched job. Take my advice; if you need a plumber, avoid franchise outfits like Mr. Rooter.
Have a septic issue. Called Mr. Rooter (TWICE, OVER 2 DAYS). Both times was assured someone would call me back in a very short period of time. No one had the courtesy to return my calls. The reason I called Mr. Rooter in the first place was because of the """"Trust Dale.com"""" website.
Don't waste your time. They've wasted mine twice because they can't get their scheduling dispatch working right. The plumbers are good, but I don't have time to waste waiting on no shows or very last minute cancellations. I'm done. I don't like posting negative feed back and I do not have an axe to grind. I just don't someone else to have to go through this hassle.
Was blown away by how much they charge for a toilet replacement. The $75 dollar coupon hardly puts a dent in that cost. When the service rep called with the appointment reminder this morning, she pointed out the """"dispatch fee"""" and said that her plumber would tell me the cost when he arrived. $300 plus for a toilet replacement is ridiculous. Ate the dispatch fee. Thankfully, my usual plumber now has an opening and a reasonable fee he can quote you before he shows up. Lesson learned. Wish I'd looked at YELP sooner on this one.
From the time of my first call to get an estimate to completion of the project, Mr. Rooter kept all of their commitments. They showed up on time, did the work, and was flexible with workarounds when met with unforeseen obstacles. This was a big project and they did a great job.
Kasey C.I had a toilet on the main floor that had just begun giving a flushing problem and the tank was refilling slow. I call Mr.Rooter and explained my situation, and the lady answering their phone told me they could have a person by my home at 3:00 and they would call me if they were running late. I decided to call them back again at 6:30 to ask if they had forgot my call, and the company person told me that it had been busy and they were going to call me the next day. The next morning I phoned Mr.rooter to inquire what time I was on their schedule and again was told 3:00pm. it was beginning to be comical because at 3:00 pm I phoned them to remind them the were late again, but they promised me they would be at my home at 5:00 this time. The first time I called was getting quotes. They are out to cheat you for every dime they can.i asked them to leave my property after they to me I would be charged $395.00 because it was and emergency call, because it was past 5:00 I was shocked, what a rip off, so rude sworn at me when I declined the service unprofessional The way I was threatened, I considered calling the Sheriff's Dept. please avoid this service.
Yousef A.Mr. Rooter saved us! After an absolute poop show with Home Depot delivery and supposed installation, Mark stepped up and came out TWICE to our home and setup everything perfectly. Nothing was rushed, everything was methodical and amazing.
Okay, I am impressed- I wrote an honest review (1 star) hoping that it was a bad rep, not a bad company. The owner recently contacted me, was very apologetic and sincere (turns out we have a mutual friend, a plumber). Anyhow, the owner was nice enough to give me a substantial credit, is giving the employee in question some (I think much needed) training. The owner even said that they replace the water lines standard with the work that I had done, NOT as an add on/up charge. He is also sending another employee out to look at the other issue I had. We even discussed, at length what did and did not need to be done (showing him that I do, know what I am talking about). I am very glad he was called, as several in my neighbor hood have used this company and had very nice things to say about it, where as my experience was the opposite, very glad to find out I was a 'fluke'. Thanks for the follow up! You have a new repeat customer. ---Add on This guy is A-ma-zing. So conscientious. Put on shoe covers, cleans up behind himself, a complete turn around from the last guy... *this* is what to expect. wow.
