Service repair at my resort business was requested. I called Mike, I think his name was if it's the so-called plumber from Montague that calls himself Mr. Rooter.

NEVER call this man for ANYTHING!! Not only will you get an exhorbitant bill for what he did, but also, he is sooooo rude and unprofessional in every way, from head-to-toe and beyond plus when he's done, the job may not be done and done correctly. He'll want to sue you if you refuse to pay the amount of money he will then want you to pay!!

First, the Greatest scheduling ladies I ever delt with. I had a hot water heater needing replacement. I purchased it and the installer removed if from my car for me due to medical issues in me. He was amazing, very knowledgable, friendly to the highest level and left the work area very clean even when I told him not to worry about it. The old heater was removed without asking and even the box was cut down and taken, Mr. Rooter pricing, work ethics and professionalism is second to none. When I called back to the office I actually got to speak to two different ladies that are the most friendly staff of any company I spoke to. I also got a call to let me know the installer was done previous job and would like to know if it was alright to come early instead of just showing up. A photo ID was even provided before arrival. There is not enough room here to express the OUTSTANDING of this company in my opinion.

We had Mr Rooter over to find if we had a clog in our drain. From the time we placed the call and until Brian, our service rep arrived, we were informed. We received a picture and a introduction of who will be coming, a phone call when he would be here and his arrival. Mr Rooter has some sophisticated equipment. With a camera Brian was able to tell us what was wrong and exactly where the problem was. We received our bid to complete the job. Pricey but I have much confidence that they will do the job correctly.

Asked for a quote on a garbage disposer installation. Quoted me a price twice as high as other reputable plumbers. Mike Farnsworth was also a rude smart aleck. When I said we would get back to him if we chose to use his company he said ""Can't wait."" Happy not to do business with him.

Mr. Rooter - NO GUARANTEE!!! That's what he wrote on my receipt and for good reason. He didn't complete the work. I hired him when the water backed up into my basement. He started with 1 machine then got another (I was charged for both machines). The cable got stuck coming out to which he informed me I had to pay to get out. When I asked why his response was you pay or I cut the cable and leave. I am a single woman and a veteran (facts he knew) and he used intimidation to get me to pay. He starts out telling me this will cost $7000 and I'm going to dig out my driveway. Since my sewer pipe is blocked with his cable I had to agree. He brought in equipment (I paid for) and before digging they hooked the cable and yanked it out. The whole job cost over $1400. Worst part is a month later water backed up again in my basement. I called him and his 1st words are I'll come dig out your driveway and put in new pipes cause yours are shot. I called someone else that scoped the pipe and said there was nothing wrong with the pipe just more roots farther down that Mr Rooter didn't bother to complete the job. For less than Mr Rooter's being quote I got the pipe scoped and clean. Mr Rooter didn't clean my pipes just my bank account!!

I had a clog between my tub and toilet. Plumber from Mr. Rooter argued with me because apparently I'm a woman who knows nothing. During the argument he decided he would charge me $329.73 wether I had the machine run 5 ft or 100 ft. So he run his tools less than 4 feet under my house and everything drained except the tub. Which at that point he wanted another $129 to ""clean out"" my tub. Needless to say he was there less than 30mins charged me 329.73 which I gave him $340 in cash (No receipt given, no change given) and he left, leaving me a clogged tub which I personally fixed myself in 5 mins.

We called Mr Rooter because we had a leak from our kitchen sink and they responded quickly to my surprise. Mike Farnsworth shows up and gets right to work and doesn't give us an estimate for the work before he started. He ended up replacing a broken pipe in our basement that took 15 minuets and he plunged our tub and sink as well. He wasn't even here for an hour and he charged us $650 dollars! we refused to pay that much because it wasn't reasonable, so he took us to court and he ended up lying in front of a magistrate claiming he worked for 2 hours and did all these repairs, even though after he had left the sink was still leaking and the drains did not work at all! long story short the magistrate reduced the bill by half and said the charges were very excessive. Who charges 109 dollars to plunge a sink and still have it not work!? After his loss in court Mike Farnsworth from Mr rooter said ""Ill see you soon"" in a threatening tone. Beware of this fraudulent company and avoid them at all costs! Mr Rooter has to be the worst company i have ever done business with!
