When I first did a review for Mr. Rooter, it was right after installation of my new hot water heater and water softener. My experience was positive. However, now I am not sure I would recommend anyone. Customer service and standing behind the work is important - something Mr. Rooter does not apparently do. I had an issue resulting from the installation work and had scheduled an appointment. No one showed up - no one even called. That is rude and shows total lack of concern for the customer. Mr. Rooter obviously only cares about the money. As for value, they were expensive.

First of all we have used Mr Rooter services off and on for the last 15 years. we actually had two issues this time. Recently our shower stall in bathroom #1 had a leak, and the floor had to be replaced we utilized a contractor our insurance company referred (the contractor was a nightmare) they installed the new floor tile and reinstalled the toilet, however, every time the toilet was flushed it would make an extremely loud prolonged noise. Bathroom #2 had a toilet that just generally needed replaced. We did not want the insurance company's contractor back in our house ever again, so we called Mr Rooter. Their tech John arrived assessed the situations with both the toilets and proceeded to repair the one making noise and replaced the other one. John was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, personable and most importantly got the job done in a reasonable time.

We have used Mr. Rooter for many years and they have always done a great job. They send technicians timely- usually same day. They are always polite, and knowledgeable. Recently had frozen water spigots and Mr. Blankenship came out and offered several solutions. There was no pressure to select one over the other. He did a great job on the repairs and explained everything as he went along. Would definitely recommend!

Will Huffman and his supervisor, Joe, did a very thorough inspection including a smoke test to determine the cause of sewer gas smell in the house. They discovered the drain to our washer and dryer had not been installed properly. They went to work and remedied the problem. They were clean, prompt, and professional. They explained everything in advance and while they were working on it. We were very satisfied.
