Turns out this company has been taken over and is now called Plumbing Patrol. Anyhow, we had a badly leaking sink, suddenly water everywhere. Called them about 10am, Raymond arrived at noon. Very professional, fixed the problem. We live in an out of the way place in La Honda, where it's not easy to get people to come for services; so extremely happy to have run across this company.

I contacted this company on a Sunday for a Monday service. I was not told that the company would call and verify the next day. They asked for a phone number and I gave them my home number. They did not ask for another number. I took time off work and arrived at my home at the time for which the appointment was set. When I arrived there was a message to call and verify. I called. They said they didn't hear from me so they didn't know if the technician could make it anymore. I told the employee that I just made the appointment the day before and I made sure to be at home at the agreed time. She said she will call her technician and call me back. A different person called me back and said the technician couldn't make the appointment. I asked them if I could make it after 5:30 pm the next day so I didn't have to take off work (I was giving them another chance). They said no. I asked ""no, not tomorrow or no you don't want my business."" They said, no to my business. I called another company in Morgan Hill right after I hung up and they were more than happy to have my business and could come over that evening. They also had a 4.5 on yelp, I can see why. I wish I called the second company first. Mr Rescue has the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Thought I was calling a nice local plumbing company, not so. They were 2 hours late because a guy drove over from Hayward. They also quoted me $350 to clean a bathroom shower drain that was clogged, after quoting $100 over the phone. They charge $45 to provide a quote. I would really just avoid these guys. We cleaned the drain ourselves with draino for $9.

Had a bathroom tub totally stopped up so called for service. Victorio came out and was great! He was extremely courteous and conscientious about keeping everything clean, even taking his shoes off before coming in w/o even being asked. He also went extra mile and went under house in crawl space to check things out. After fixing the drain he even got a sponge and scrubbed down the tub.
There prices seem a little high, but with service received, would definitely call again.

Called for a estimate and was told it was $45 to get one. when i started to question the fee she hung up on me.
There are many many plumbing Co out there that will give you a Free estimate. DON'T waste you time calling these guys.
Its really too bad because i used them a few years ago and for the most part things went really well. They sure seam to have gone down hill reading the latest review.

Homeowner beware! These guys took advantage of me. *Maybe* they're ok for large jobs, but for smaller jobs they are exorbitant, and behaved more like con artists than like an honest business. They mentioned the $45 visit fee over the phone, which irritated me, especially when they didn't seem inclined to apply it toward their job fee if I hired them. I ""talked them into"" applying the visit fee to the job fee, which I mistakenly thought was good enough, as I planned to hire them.
When Jerry showed up at the door (at around 5pm), he looked more ready to head home for the day than to do any actual work. He followed me around as I pointed out the problems, then went out to his truck to ""write up an estimate."" When he came back in there was no estimate... just a xeroxed, multi-page price list he began referencing.
$350 to fix a slow-running kitchen faucet. $350 to fix a sink faucet handle that works but is hard to turn. $350 to fix a tiny drip in a bathtub faucet. After each item he'd turn to look at me with a raised eyebrow and a shrug... an expression that said, ""I know, this is incredibly-expensive, isn't it?""
The most outrageous price was pulled out of his butt, as there was no line item for it on the price list: $150 TO SECURE A WIGGLY (BUT PERFECTLY-OPERATIONAL) FILTERED WATER FAUCET! He clearly arrived intending only to collect his $45 and be on his way, without doing a lick of work. Actual quote: ""it's probably not worth it to have me do this stuff... this is going to be over a thousand dollars.""
When I balked at paying $45 for refusing to be robbed, he threatened me, saying ""we have you on tape agreeing to the fee."" FYI, Mr. Rescue... it's illegal to record somebody without their knowledge.
IMPORTANT NOTE: calling these guys can result in a visit by ""Mr. Drain,"" and vice-versa... ""Mr. Drain"" has worse reviews. Jerry's truck was marked ""Mr. Drain."" I don't know if they're the same company or just work together.

Our house had a blocked main sewer line and a plugged up bathroom sink. Justin of Mr Rescue came out, said our cleanout was inaccessible, and wanted to charge us $1200 to put in a new one and unclog our line. He also charged us a $45 visit fee for the estimate.
This seemed like a lot of cash, so for a sanity check I called Fifteen Dollar Sewer for another estimate. There was no charge for the estimate. They were able to use the existing cleanout, and snaked the line. They also unclogged the bathroom sink. Total price was $250.
Justin seemed like a nice and honest person over the phone, so I'm not sure recommending unnecessary work was the result of trying to bring in more $$ or just a lack of expertise or effort.
Also: the $45 visit fee seems excessive considering all they did was give us an estimate. They did say when I scheduled the appt that there was a $40 fee for a visit, but I wasn't expecting any problems, so didn't really think twice about it.
Also, they didn't show up on time for the initial visit. They said it was due to a mistake when they entered the appointment, but regardless of the reason: they didn't show up on time.
To summarize: they charged $45 for an estimates, and then recommend unnecessary work. Look elsewhere, there are plenty of other companies that will unclog your sewer line.

Mr Rescue (and Frank Hermosillo) did a fantastic job doing a trench less sewer replacement for our house in Mt. View. The price was very reasonable and the care and workmanship was outstanding. I recommend this company, and will call them first if I need a plumber in the future.
After seeing water backing up in the toilet, I tried running a snake through to clear the mainline. When this didn't work, I called Mr. Rescue to take advantage of their $69 clean out deal. After their snake hit stuff, and they ran a camera down the line, it turned out the mainline was blocked by tree roots, and needed a trenchless replacement.
Frank Hermosillo was the lead plumber and did a wonderful job. One end of the sewer line was under the flag stone walk way to our front door. Frank was exceptionally conscientious about accessing the sewer with minimal upset to the walk way and surrounding plants. At the end of the job, the walk way was carefully restored to its original condition, and the job site left very clean. Frank and the team were very competent and professional.

I've used them for two consecutive years to unclog roots in the main line of my house. In both cases I had the problem in a very inconvenient time (long weekend the first time and saturday the second time) They were able to come relatively quickly and did a great job.
I'm very happy with the level of service they provided. They not just fixed the problems but also offered good suggestions to keep the problem from happening again (even though it would probably be beneficial for them that I have the problem again)

We had a problem with this company. They quoted us one price, came to our home and charged us $500 more. We felt this was not acceptable. When confronted about payment, we were still ready to pay the quoted price. They threatened to uninstall the water heater. Tried to communicate with them about the extra $500 but they would not budge. If they had told us beforehand that there was an extra $500 charge, we might have been able to work with them.
