I had an appointment for MR repairs to come out on August 19, 2023 with a window of 5 hours. 3pm -8pm. a little before 4 pm I called to get an estimated time and no answer. at 8:30pm after my window time for appojntment, I called again to see if maybe the technician was running late and got a message that the mail box was full, so there I sat at 9pm not knowing what happened. no call, no show. i called home warranty on Sunday and they got In touch with the techni Jan and he said he would be out today, Sunday from 3pm-8pm. i said no because I cannot trust anyone who doesn't have the courtesy of notifying you if he was not coming out when scheduled. He told choice warranty I said only the weekend and that is correct, but it was for Saturday not Sunday. if he would have called and said he couldn't make it Saturday and ask if Sunday was ok I would have accepted that but no show, no call and does not answer your phone, no way would I have him out

If I could rate this individual zero stars I would. I also have Choice Home Warranty and trying to work with MR Repairs was a problem. I filed my claim and MR was assigned the job to check out my garbage disposal. The claim info stated he would come out on Wednesday at 11am. He texted on Monday and mentioned he would like to come out on Tuesday and I said great. On Tuesday never heard from him. I texted multiple times and finally he replied and stated he needed to help a friend and that he would come Wednesday after 3pm. The time had passed and at 4:30 I tried to reach him by phone and text. No response. At 6:30 I texted again and said don't come because it was getting too late. I did talk with Choice Warranty and told them about my disappointment and that I would not have him come to my house.

Under no circumstances hire MR Repairs. Fails to respond by phone, email and doesn't shop up to the job site. He was contracted by Choice Home Warranty. I'm now having misgivings about them as well. I informed them about the other negative reviews and they could not tell me why they were unaware of these reviews. Or why they hired Mr Repairs. I would be hard pressed to allow this person in my house. Now they tell me that the claim will start a new, which I have a toilet leading for possible several more days.

Marlon promptly responded within 10 minutes and although he was already on another job- he still came by at 5:30 in the evening to resolve my issue and charged me a very reasonable price. he was neat and cleaned up after. I will absolutely use him again.

Do Not Hire Mr. Repairs / Marlon. He is the worst! he lies, he ignored my calls and his mailbox was always full for some strange reason. I waited three weeks for him to return to my home and fix my plumbing problem after I had already paid him the $85.00 service fee, so that also makes him a thief! three weeks is a long time to have all sinks, toilets, and showers not draining. I am 68 years old and have mobility issues. I had to go to my daughter's house to take showers. DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON HE IS INCONSIDERATE AND UNRELIABLE!!! I finally had to go with another plumber after 23 days of waiting for Mr. Repairs to respond which he never did!

This is my last time responding to Marlon - I see he is still lying. How did I threaten you? It was 5:08 pm when I texted you on Sunday and you stated that you were driving from Atlanta (which is a 5 hour drive to my home), had to stop off in Richmond Hill and get your truck and drive to me. After you did all of that, it would have been well after 8:00 pm. You will never admit that you told me and my husband Sunday at 5:00 pm., will ya? If you feel me calling you out on your lies is giving you an attitude, then so be it. Do you think I want to be aggravated with this? Why would I just pull 5:00 pm out of the sky? Out of the 9 years I have been a Choice Home Warranty Customer, I've never, ever, ever had this type of problem until I was assigned lying Marlon from Marlon Repairs. He accepted three appointment dates and didn't show up to none of them.

Marlon is outstanding. I hired him to replace an undermount, double basin sink that had detached from the countertop. He advised me on which sink to purchase, including the dimensions, and installed it the next day. The previous builder had not properly installed the last sink so Marlon took extra care to secure the sink and explain his work. I learned a lot from him and will definitely hire him again. As a real estate investor, I can't tell you how grateful I am to meet a master of their trade that's willing to work for a good price.
