Very response and polite. Work was well done and price reasonable. He let me know if any additional work was required it would be extra, which is understandable. He showed up when he said he would and that is very important to me. I would use again when we need some more work done.

Ricardo replaced my fill valve and ceiling fan. He was punctual on his visits. He showed great deal of patience, explained the problem & solution to it well and he also performed the work to my satisfaction. I would recommend Ricardo for handyman services and would call him next if there is a need.

I had to replace an exterior window trim that was rotted. I specifically asked for treated lumber to avoid the same problem. Ricardo acknowledged but ended up installing untreated lumber (Douglas Fir) instead.

Ricardo gave me an estimate of $265 + parts. He suggested mold treatment so I agreed to have him buy the spray. Since he's going to do some caulking, I asked him to caulk a few cracks along the windows (as a courtesy). These extra work only took a few minutes & I expected it to be included in the labor estimate of $265. However, I was caught by surprise that he charged me an extra $45. So, at the end I was charged $310 for a job that only took 1 hr. An hour job would only cost $125 with 3 Brothers Handyman.

I am not happy that I didn't get what I expected & had to pay more than I expected. I will not being using his service again.

Ricardo came out on the same day to repair a tub faucet that was not able to shut off water. Water kept flowing out of our faucet and we had to shut off main water. As this was some what if an emergency, Ricardo was able to come within the hour. He took the Moen cartridge out and I went to Home Depot to get the part while he waited. I wasn't sure how much extra it would have costed if he went out to get it, but I opted to get it myself and he graciously waited. It was probably 30mins before I got back. He charged me the same price as he quoted it would cost for this repair. It was the best quote I got compared to 5 other plumbers I called. I asked him to install a hand shower and it costed another $25 which was fair. He completed the job in about 15mins. Ricardo also does other handy work too. I would for sure happily recommend Ricardo to anyone that needs reliable handyman work done.

I should have taken the day off, and watched the work being done. They did a decent job mounting and framing the front door, so I thought they could mount and frame the bathroom door, and stain the front door frame.

I was wrong. The top edges of the bathroom door frame don't line up. They were filled with some sort of caulk to join the edges, which failed on the right side. (See photos.) The wrong nails were used, so the nail heads stick out, even after a couple of coats of paint.

The front door frame was stained with a transparent deck stain, instead of the same wood stain that was used for the front door. The numbers printed on the wood are still visible (See photos.)

I'm giving three stars because they came on time and did some good work, but also did some very sloppy work that will need to be redone.

I had to change two toilets in my home as they are old and one of them has broken at the base long with a small leak . I called Rick and his response was very prompt. I had to explain my project to him and he was very quick to respond with an estimate which I believe was very reasonable within my expectation . He went beyond my expectation helping me in selecting a right Toilet at nearby Home Depot. He came right at expected time along with his assistant, completed the job of Installing two toilets after removing the old ones in about 3 hrs to my satisfaction. I will strongly recommend using him for any home based projects. He is reliable, sincere and very reasonable.
