Pipes froze during recent snow and cold. Saw Mr. Pump advertise on Facebook that they could thaw pipes. When we contacted for price, a woman said $35-40 to ""thaw pipes""

Two men arrived around 8pm with a hand torch and climbed under our house. I had planned on giving them a little extra money for coming out so quickly, coming out at night, and having to work in such harsh conditions. However, they came back from under house and said they could not thaw my pipes, as they could not get to the section that was blocked. Understood and wasn't too upset, only frustrated to still not have water. They recommended I take some deck boards off my front deck and access the place where water enters and heat it up with a space heater and that was it.

On-site for about 20 mins, never shut off their truck, and when I asked how much I owed them, they said $75!!! From $35-40 for ""thawing pipes"" to $75 for just looking at pipes but not able to thaw! I had planned on giving them $80 for ""thawing"" due to the hard work in harsh weather at night, but was shocked to hear the price for not even getting the job done. And to make it worse, when I handed them the $80 cash(extra $5) they said they normally charge $125 but gave me a break since we were out of water.

Falsely advertised their price, charged more for incomplete work, and not convinced that it was not a scam to begin with. Will not be calling them in the future.

4 days ago i contacted mr pump to help us with our pressure tank. The weather was permitting but they still didnt come here, they kept people using their voicemail. Finally day 4 with no water, i called them hoping a monday would be good. Nope. Weather does not permit. Rude and hatefull. I called another company after i was told ""good luck"" and someone will be here in the morning from another well company. Thank God for selections. Seems weather IS permitting after all. Do not use these people. They do not service when you need them. The elder answering the phones needs to be fired.

The employee named ""Jimbo"" doesn't know what wtf he's doing and doesn't even know how to talk to customers. My well is messed up, I already had a plumber replace all the electronics in the well house so I called these guys. I talked to Doug who seemed to know his stuff but then he sent ""Jimbo"" to take a look at it.

After 5 minutes ""Jimbo"" told me my well was pumping water but it wasn't getting to the the top which I knew.. I asked him ""what could it be? what do I do next?"" His answer was: ""I don't know.""

So I got charged $125 dollars for someone to tell me that my well wasn't working right which I already knew. Doug, I want a refund!

This Company Nd the service man Nick, was very kind ,professional and profisant. The complete experience was pleasant and easy. This was a difficult time being afraid of the problem an cost but they did what they could to accommodate me and my family.. The man who completed my service was very kind and helpful... Thank you
