Michael is phenomenal!! I needed quite a bit of work done in my home, including very daunting removal of a utility sink from the 1700s (maybe it wasn't from 1700s, but if you saw it, you wouldn't know otherwise!).

Michael arrived about a week before the job was to be done to scope out all the work. He diligently read through the details on the new products I was installing and made sure he had all the tools and equipment needed to get the job done efficiently.

When time came to do the work, I was so impressed by Michael's creativity and ability to think quickly on his feet to find solutions to challenges encountered. He did a fantastic job and I cannot recommend him enough!!

I has an emergency plumbing issue on Saturday and lucky for me Mr Plumbing was working at my next door neighbor and I asked him if he could come over to help me out. This review is long overdue...Michael I apologize.

I first met Michael when he worked for another company. I was in the process of remodeling my home in SF to make it rentable. Upon arriving at my home Michael was on time something I hadn't experienced with other plumbers in the past, they were always late from other jobs, obviously the work I needed done was trivial to them.

Michael then proceeded to take off his shoes before he entered my home, please keep in mind my home at this point was far from remodeled so I didn't care either way if he took off his shoes before he entered my home, but he insisted and I didn't want to offend.

I explained to Michael that I had a steady water leak coming from the base of my toilet and the toilet flushed extremely slow, and after about all of 5 minutes Michael stated to me that my toilet seal leading to the main pipe was installed improperly which makes perfect sense because I previously had 2 DISCOUNT plumbers come to my home to fix the problem which was never done right! So yeah the discount was definitely there....!!, more like the work from the 2 previous company's was double the price of Michael...and Michael actually fixed the problem who would of thought??

Michael was beyond patient and understanding with my concerns when I voiced how I wanted to keep my antique style toilet to maintain a certain level of character. Michael stated and I quote:
"" John you can keep the toilet and I could try to snake it and if one time snaking it doesn't work I can come back a couple more times but it would be cheaper in the long run to replace it, due to the fact that the reason the water flow when flushing is slow is because of years of build up in the pipes.""

So let's recap the events. ; I get 2 Discount Plumbers to my home before my meeting with Michael, the discount plumbers screw me!!! and both have the balls to tell me if they come out to another call at my home I'll be billed for the work they didn't do in the first place!!!!!!!

Michael easily diagnoses the problem with my plumbing concerns, immediately goes to the hardware store for a new toilet seal, new toilet, comes back and does the work in no time at all, and doesn't price gouge me on parts or labor!!! And for those naysayers that say he had the time to do the job because he didn't have any others jobs lined up... WRONG... 2 customers called Michael while he was working on my plumbing and Michael didn't say I'll hurry the job up that I'm currently working on, he actually did the opposite Michael stated I have to make sure the work is complete before I leave this job!!!!
Who in the hell does that these days???!!!!
This man I met for the very first time wants to make sure the work in my home is absolutely, positively complete before moving on to the next job.

I was so grateful for Michael I asked him what was better for him cash or credit he said cash, I immediately jumped in my truck drove up the street to the bank got the cash and came back to give it to him, plus a little extra green.

Fast forwarding after this interaction with Michael, I of course had more plumbing issues unrelated to the work Michael did, so it was a no brainer I called the same company and requested ONLY Michael. The rep for the company stated to me that Michael was no longer employed with them but they could send out another Plumber...what do you think I did??? I told the rep over the phone no thank you Michael is the only Plumber I will ever use again and I hung up.

I had serious plumbing issues that needed to be addressed ASAP but only Michael was going to take care of them!! I scoured the Internet looking for Michael ONLY Michael and I found him ( Mr. Plumbing).

Michael explained to me that he now had his own company and he also said I'm based in the San Jose area, I will come to your home but I usually stay within my area due to the cost of travel so I can keep prices low. And Michael came and did the job again never compromising in perfection and naturally his gas was compensated in addition to the cost of the work.

In this day in age you can't put a price on trust especially when everyone is out for themselves.
I apologize for the long review but in concluding this review, Michael has renewed my trust that there are still some tradesman that take pride in their work.

We were looking for a plumber to re-pipe our main intake line, and many other plumbing needs around the house. After interviewing several plumbers, we selected Michael. While he wasn't the cheapest quote, Michael was unquestionably the most honest contractor we met with. As honest and fair as we thought Michael was giving the quote, his work was even better. He arrived early, and stayed late to get the work done on the schedule he originally gave us, and did a fantastic job (he even showed us the copper pipe before burying it). In addition, he was the most polite contractor we have ever had at the house (he even took his shoes off before coming inside, which I appreciate because we have a little one crawling around). Unfortunately for us we have since had Michael back multiple times (for other work), however each time he has delivered the same quality, service, and honesty. He is a terrific plumber and I would recommend him to anybody looking to get work done at their house.

Michael is honest and very friendly. He explains everything so you really understand what is going on, then he does the jobs and does them right. Five stars aren't enough for this young man.

I would highly recommend Michael Ra. He fixed our main sewer line issue. In addition, he is a pleasant and honest person.

Michael explained that the clog was on the city side (clean-out in front of our house) and that I could get the city of Sunnyvale to take care of it without charge. However, I had him go ahead with unclogging the sewage line since I didn't want to continue dealing with toilets and showers backing up. I wasn't sure how long it would take for the City to come out.

I made the right choice to have Michael clean out the clog. Though the clog was on the city side, the clog had also backed up the home drainage. Michael took care of both very quickly. He also took the time to explain what was going on and how to avoid future issues.

I was pleasantly surprised when he took off his shoes before coming into the house. It was great to have someone respect my place. I wouldn't want sewage shoes all over my house.

My realtor friend gave me Michael's name. Several of her colleagues at Alain Pinel Realtors recommended him. The realtors received good feedback about him and use his plumbing services for themselves. Here's what one of the realtors wrote...
