If I'd written a review in October, I'd have given them 5 stars. But that has changed due to a recent experience. A relative had used Mr. Pipes twice, and I used them in the Fall 2020 to replace my kitchen faucet. When I discovered my bathroom sink was leaking in Dec 2020, I called Mr. Pipes again. I explained where I saw water, and the diagnosis by """"Carey Plumbing"""" was supply lines needed to be replaced. I paid $120 for that work. I thought the problem was resolved, but Jan 31,I found a small amount of water still leaking from the same spot. I called the next day to explain the problem didn't seem too have been fixed on Dec. 31. They were able to send out a couple of guys the next day, and the diagnosis was a new faucet was needed. Bought one that night, called Mr. Pipes the next day to set up an installation appt, which was set for the following day. Once again, I paid $120. What is very upsetting is that when I brought to Steve's attention that if Guy had diagnosed it correctly on Dec. 31, I would've gone out then, bought a new faucet, and paid $120 for the installation. He said he could do nothing to help me because it wasn't him that came out in Dec. He said it was Carey Plumbing, and I should ask for Mr. Pipes or Steve. Honestly, every time I have called, I asked for Mr. Pipes when asked by the receptionist which company I was calling for. If they dispatched someone formerly from Carey Plumbing, that's their own fault. So STEVE can't do anything about it? Well, yes you could. As the owner, you ARE the only person that could've righted the wrong and owned up to your employer's misdiagnosis of the leak. What it comes down to is I paid $120 for supply lines in December, and $120 for the faucet installation in Feb, but if Guy had originally taken the time to fully inspect where the water was coming from, I wouldn't have paid twice what the job really costed. It's very poor customer service in my opinion. Making your customer pay double for your employer's mistake is not okay. I called the next day and spoke with the secretary to confirm that all employees, Carey Plumbing or Mr. Pipes employees are under Steve, and explained why I was upset. She offered to give me his number to discuss, but we already had a conversation about this before he left my house and I handed over my check. He didn't plan to accept responsibility then, so he wouldn't have over the phone either. If the receptionist talked to him about the complaint as she said she would, he never reached out to me. I gave him a week to do so, no response. My check was cashed same day as the job. It's really a shame, but I will not use them again, nor will I recommend. I'd have accepted paying for the supply lines and not getting a full $120 refund. To their credit, they are very prompt in scheduling appts. The men who have been out are always friendly. Three out of four times, they showed up earlier than expected. Apparently they stopped giving courtesy calls to let you know they are on the way, which can be problematic if you are out running errands prior to scheduled appt timeframe, or if you have a pet you need to put up. Steve completely ignored the notice on the work order to call ahead. But that's fine, because I won't have them come out anymore. They got more than enough money out of me. I wanted others to be aware that it seems he only stands by the work he does personally and recommends when you schedule, you ask for him.

I've had this company to fix, repair or replace plumbing issues twice. Both times they were prompt, courteous and hard working. Had outdoor faucets replaced and indoor kitchen sink fixtures replaced. Both times were an awesome experience with excellent prices. This company has it all together. From scheduling, confirming, and completion of work with knowledgeable plumbers!

Mr Pipes went above and beyond when I called him on a holiday Monday with a plumbing issue I thought could wait til later in the week. That afternoon the problem escalated and at dark he was at the door and worked til the clog was cleared. I would recommend him and will call him again

Mr. Pipes showed up to the job ready to work. They plumbed from a single sink vanity for double sinks and hooked water and drain lines, all for the best bid price out of three estimates!

We had some issues with a high water bill. Mr. Pipes came out, on time as scheduled, identified the problem and fixed it. Best of all, they were ULTRA reasonable. Definitely #1 in the #2 business. Next time you have a plumbing issue, do yourself and call Mr. Pipes.

We had a kitchen sink that clogged every couple days, then would drain slow. We had a plumber come out who snaked from under the kitchen sink. We had him out 3 times, the 3rd time making a complete mess under the sink and on the kitchen floor using a 58 ft snake. The plumber kept saying """"I just don't get it"""". WE asked about the possibilty of the roof vent being clogged and he dismissed the idea. The sink clogged 2 hours later, again. We called Mr. Pipes. He came out and immediately went to the roof vent after filling both sides of the sink with water. He told me to keep the sink full. He ran his snake down the roof vent, found the clog about 5 ft from the kitchen sink. The sinks cleared and we ran lots of water through the sink. He got the job done for a lesser price than the other plumber and in one trip. Mr Pipes is the plumber we call if we ever have another problem. I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Pipes.

Steve (Mr. Pipes) is a great guy! He does a fantastic job with all your plumbing needs. We had a leak in our kitchen and he was over right away to help us and get it all fixed. Fast and efficient! Highly recommended!

Rude when they finally answer you and never show up when he says he's going to and never call you back !! Wish there was an option for no stars .. also when fixing my water heater never came inside to check the sink and i was left without hot water for 24 hrs with baby's in the house .. the next day he said he was too tired to come in and check it that same day yet he had 5 people with him
